A lot of people clearly didn't, and a lot of people that backed the game and were interested before aren't buying it anymore. Like I just said in another post, just because an dev team has done a lot of certain thing in a the past doesn't mean they never do anything else. I assumed they would keep catering to cucks and I was right. Really this forum is the only place for people to complain about it anyways. They're locking and deleting anyone talking about it on the steam forums which is pretty funny.
That very positive review status on steam and the talk on their discord and website totally backs up your claims.....

Oh, wait, no it doesn't.

Dude, you shouldn't have wasted that much of your lifetime to type this. Everyone with a brain realizes it's just the usual tactics of redefining language. That and calling people bad names is the only "arguments" they have. Always the same script.
It's fine, wanted to upset some ppl that are already triggered, and leave my review for it (i'm an original backer). The only thing they really lied about that and i got upset over was the whole early access thing. They said they won't release EA for backers cause it doesnt' fit subverse... and look now it's in early access. They changed their mind fine... but the state of sex scene for such a long development and the fact that's where they were suppose to shine, kind of hurts

Waifu was never meant to be serious when the cast is clearly a bunch of sluts. Doesn't take a genius to figure out that out. If people actually took it as some serious, Mass Effect esque space opera where you get to romance the girls like they're all Liara T'soni, then they were, quite frankly, retarded.
Sorry but it just doesn't work that way. Even if they thought they were using it ironically, it doesn't come off well in a lot of their marketing or text. People assumed they were serious, and when people asked them about it. They basically didn't give straight answers back then, confusing the issue. So while I think those people were naive, it doesn't change the fact the devs had ample oppertunity to just be straight up about it when they were directly asked. I think they knew it would piss people off, which is why they stayed vague. Hence I think they were scummy and mislead a lot of dumb people. I can't respect that, at least most devs here are entirely upfront when asked directly. Sub-verse devs really weren't. They should haven't used waifus or harems in their marketing and then this thread wouldn't be full of bitching about it. Admittedly then I wouldn't be able to see this giant shitstorm I knew was coming, which would be kinda sad.

Now to contribute something more useful than argueing with communists: Does anyone else have occassional stutters in the movies, while everything else works fine?

Can't figure out the reason. My cores are peaking at 50%, my GPU tops at 60%, and i'm running this from an SSD, so bandwidth shouldn't be the issue either. 1920x1080 screenres by the way. Anyone else have the same problem?

The thread would still be full of bitching about cuckshit or whatever the fuck even if they were upfront about it.

To the people who played it, do they make you watch the female characters fucking others dudes?
No. The only videos you are "forced" to see are the recruitment scenes which is between the MC and the girls that you add to the ship. The rest, as mentioned tons of times in the thread, are scenes in which you use in-game currency to unlock.

If you are really that hell-bent on avoiding non-MC content, just don't unlock that content.

You only see constant anti-ntr vs pro-ntr combat in situations like these where you do something to market to both types of people which creates a situation where they
re going to interact with each other. Otherwise people mostly stick to their own kind. So no not really.

the bullet hell / geometry wars and tactical gameplay was enough to get me to buy it as an EA game. I got 6 hrs in and having a blast you forget its a porn game sometimes lol.

so why do they say they are looking at implementing pregnancy if they don't plan to? it's not the first time these guys have been a bit misleading about the game either
They were pretty clear on discord and in an interview that they wanted to add it but can't figure out how to do it without massively increasing work load. Last interview from a week ago said the same thing when they were asked.
"We'd like to but we havn't found a way to do it yet."
Seemed pretty honestly to me?
