Well, since only sense that my monitor stimulates is vision, thats all I need. Subverse animations look worse.
I like how you didn't address the point in question, and actually just kinda straw maned what I actually said.

Blender animations are only better in terms of lighting, and skin texturing. FOW's animations look better as dynamic animations, which is what one should be aiming for when making a sex game with animation in it.

Your post really just shows your appreciation of animations is entirely superficial, and you don't actually care about animation quality itself.

I wonder at the end how much would it cost to complete this kind of project.

Do someone know a completed game on F95 which started with great ambition and had a lot of financial ressources ?
Majority of the games on this site, included the high earner ones march to the tune of a one man band...

You can't compare that with a medium sized game studio (whatever)...

Ok. The problem is - not much dynamics to show in 5sec loop of ordinary not "premium" scene.

Except the loops from those people aren't good, they look good, but the animation itself is mediocre.

Take this recent HydrafX animation for example

The animation has very nice lighting, and texture rendering, due to the use of Blender, but outside of that
  • Her body is oriented in such a way that there only has to be minimal movement on the boobs.
  • Her hands, arms, and face, are almost static outside of some slight back and forth movement on the arms.
  • Shes not actually impacting the guy's body so there doesn't have to be any real ass jiggle.
  • The first half of the animation is just the same basic in-out movement repeated for 12 seconds, and the last 5 seconds are that same movement from a different angle.
And you can see these same issues in FPSBlyck, Yeero, and Lvl3, animations as well




Now compare this to something like the animation of Lily getting fucked by the dildo machine in Subverse. In that animation
  • Lily's body is constantly leaning forward, and arching back, due to the pleasure she is feeling.
  • Her face is making various different expressions, with eye, mouth, and eyebrow, movement being common.
  • There is a notable stomach budge from the machine pushing into her, and said bulge gets more intense as the machine goes faster.
  • During the climax scene she leans forward heavily due to the intensity of the machine, and her legs falls off the side of the couch.
  • As the speed of the machine speed goes up, and Lily starts moving around more, there is more movement in the boobs and ass.
The lighting and skin texturing looks worse then Blender animations due to the use of Unreal, but there is significantly more actual animation here.

HydraFX, Yeero, FPSBlyck, and other Blender animations have better lighting and skin texture rendering due to it being Blender, but when it comes to the actual animation itself its bare bones basic stuff you can see people like Noname55 do in SFM. Its not even particularly good vanilla porn because even most vanilla porn tends to have more intensity. This is a common problem with Blender animations because Blender is known to pretty much shit itself once you try going harder, and is in many ways less able to do physics based movement compared to something like SFM, or Unreal, which have, you know, actual physics engines.

Its also why you don't really see many Blender animators making longer movies. Its incredibly difficult as Blender doesn't do intensity, or jiggly well. You can see this problem crop up in something like NYL's longer blender videos.

He has these girls with massive futa dicks, but they are barely fucking each other. Its the slowest blowjobs, the slowest handjobs, the slowest sex, possible because Blender can't do intensity real well. Compare that to something like the Kunoichi movies by FOW, or even most of the loops in Subverse, and you can see the night and day difference.

Do we know on F95zone at least one completed project that used Patreon and raised a lot of money during his development (let's fix that to at least 10 000 dollars a month). ?

Blender also has a much higher learning curve required to just even get into it compared to something like SFM, which is why theres still many animators using SFM even today, like Noname55. On one hand SFM crashes constantly, but Blender has its own trade off with taking forever to render simple scenes due to it being a resource hog.

I do want to note I wasn't trying to shit on HydraFX, Yeero, FPSBlyck, NYL, etc. I just wanted to point out that thier actual animations aren't actually that good animation wise. Its mostly lighting and texture work. Impressive lighting and texture work, but mostly that.

2 acts in the game out of the promised out of 25 could and 6 at least give an excellent demo release to play for a year of development, collected a bunch of dough, but in fact gameplay for 2 hours

The problem with what you saying is that you discard Blender light and textures for more animation. But the animated bodies from subverse looks like they belong to telltale games. So no mater how animated Killi body parts are she looks like made of red wax.

That's why I'm asking because I have not a single game in mind.

I can think about Future Fragments, but this game will be released only this summer and was already delayed multiple times, so not a completed game yet.

I can find a lot of completed games with way less ressources, but nope for the big ones.

In regards of games being always unfinished cash-milkers, we often support that. SR7 donations didn't drop down when he started adding heroines like a madman, mostly because people want more. DC is writing script for some background characters because people are horny for more tits instead of actual game end. Same goes to Mr.C and his corruption.

Which is why none of them have come even close to matching the amount of patrons, and money, FOW was bringing in back when they were on Patreon, or been able to make the kinds of movies FOW did, or managed to raise over 2 million dollars in a kickstarter, or have one of the global trending game sales on Steam? I don't think you have ever seen a Telltale game model. All you have to do is go on rule 34 and look up someone like Clem from Walking Dead to see the VAST difference in how much better FOW's models look compared to a Telltale game model.

And I would rather have a cartoonish looking body then something that looks like its made of plastic like most Blender animations do. When you try to go realistic like many Blender animations do, the small imperfections stand out more, and create an uncanny valley effect that makes the overall experience less enjoyable.

This is why all those VNs on this site using DAZ assets are so ugly. The lack of lighting, the incoherant texture quality, the lack of properly scaling between assets, and the creepy doll eye stares, stand out more compared to anything using more cartoony 3d models, or any game with 2D art.

This whole SummertimeSaga comparison remains bad. Sure, DC pockets a lot of money, but these guys got the money he made in his first 3 to 4 years slowly growing his project, right away upfront. I think we can agree that it's a huge difference whether you start your project as one dude who wants to teach himself coding and with ~zero cash to invest or as somebody who has got a team and 2 million to work with.
The biggest difference is actually that these guys here promised something to their backers and people payed for that, while SummertimeSaga has been free from day 1 and nobody ever had to pay cent to play it. If you make people pay upfront, you better deliver something that's as good as you promised, if you give away stuff for free, there's much more leeway.
