Some threads seem to have vanished. The Chinese bring more salt to the steam forums than ntr does to this forum... It's insane, and these fuckers organize in the way they review bomb and downvote things. Not just on steam, but you see that other places on the internet too.

Steam promote games..... the more popular they are, the more they promote. Popularity and reviews goes hand in hand... Less visibility, less sales. So if you got genuine interest in this game and sit on a copy. Just make a review to counter these Chinese tossers wouldn't be to bad atm.

Ahh shit... So theoretically speaking they can negatively affect the sales and ruin the development for everyone just because they are impatient dumb fucks? Sweet. I left my positive feedback yesterday, a small drop in the sea, but still :confused:

Apparently Steam got a automated tool that will identify and exclude review bombs from the overall review score. If this actual gone into effect or was just a response to the Metro Exodus outcry, idk.

Oh and something about they won the number one position in the UN, and was the largest power in the world.... It's more entertaining to browse the steam forums now than watch threads go up in flames over ntr on this site. :ROFLMAO:

For fun sake, I started to browse some other adult games on steam, and damn. It's like a Chinese invasion.

And it's never about, "could we have", or "we would like".. no it's "we demand"...

Mostly positive now at 9811, so even with the Chinese insurrection. It's still good tbh. If people start browse the bad reviews and see a bunch of Chinese demanding localization as source of a bad review. Bells should be ringing for obvious reasons..

At this point Steam should alter the score of Subverse by not counting these chinese reviews. Best example of "off-topic activity". No matter what do I think about the devs, letting these people as they please will only show them they can bombard any game without consequences. Idk if Steam does it on it's own or if Studio FOW must contact Steam to apply this filter, but something should be done about it.

Unless they were promised chinese translation in EA, bought the game just for that and Studio FOW went like "sorry, no chinese language until game is finished". Then they have right to be angry.

Apparently they got some mechanic in place after the review bombing than happened back with Metro Exodus. Those Chinese doesn't seem to be the most upset about localization being simplified, or traditional Chinese, but that they are not acknowledged as MAINLAND Chinese... SFOW like... we don't see any traffic (statistics) from mainland China, which kinda obvious as they hide behind vpns. They want special treatment for being mainland Chinese...

At the end of the day they’re a small team, so they can’t afford to be developing and translating at the same time, no matter how popular the demographic is.

also as much as they’re claiming they did the majority of the campaign, stats say otherwise

They did hire more people, but there is a limit you know. You look at that number and think its a fucking lot. It's not when you consider wages, production costs else etc. People doesn't work for free you know..
