Yeah the pacing is probably the biggest issue here. The fact that it took like 5 updates to get past the first day was a bit much, but it also felt like each update was being treated as if they were separate days too? So some of the progression feels a bit awkward because of the fact that we've only met most of our LIs hours beforehand.There's SO MANY missed opportunities that coulda broke the AVN mold. Coulda done it mostly with the renders they have now. Just better and more plausible story/pacing:
I'm generally happy with the story, and curious to see where it goes next, although I do like a lot of your ideas too, and feel they could've provided a cleaner narrative. According to the recent dev log, there's going to be a timeskip next chapter to the evening of the second day, which I'm thankful for. Keep the pacing up.
It also looks like Renders are coming through at quite a reasonable pace, although I disagree with not showing percentages anymore, they're a good indicator of how far into an update production is, and can always be adjusted if needed.
