Renders are gorgeous once again, with great sound design and writing to boot.

I do, however, agree with other posters here - this update was disappointingly short. 10 months wait time for roughly 40 minutes of content.

The main reason I feel that many of us are disappointed is because we can see the potential of Summer Heat to be breeliant.

Yep, at least until my membership for this month expires, after that I don't think so, sorry. There are other patrons here so maybe they'll post the dev logs and the other stuff.

Did version 0.6 live up to your expectations

Tbh, no. As I said, the update has some nice moments, but for 10 months it felt way too short imho. V0.5 took 11 months of development and it had more content overall than this one that took almost the same time.

The admins of this website should add a [Milking phase] tag, just so people don't get their hopes up. Don't think I've been this disappointed in a while. The MC's been at camp for what, 2 days now? In how many years? Christ.

Worse part is nobody actually wins long term including the devs. If you look at devs that finished a project and moved on to a second they actually earn more money in the end and can keep growing. They're basically financially secure so long as they want to keep making them. Less work for money sounds good but with a model like patreon you're leaving more money on the table than you're taking off it by doing it, especially if you're actually talented. Instead milking runs you into a plateau and then a brick wall eventually. It's a handful of devs that have ended up better for milking than actually making their games.

These VNs/games take 3-5 years to make any way. 3 AVN projects could keep you earning for 15+ years, you don't need to take that slow. Very few devs have actually ended up better milking than if they'd just steadily made the game. It's real short sighted.

I feel like devs don't know where they're going with this game. They created an environment where a bunch of teenagers and a lonely Milf are stuck in a small space with little privacy to fool around so you would guess that it's a slowburn about characters trying to get to know each other with a little tease here and there but on the other hand there's the strip club and Ember so players can enjoy a bit of striptease and sexting and don't feel neglected but for me it feels like a waste of time while the main girls are waiting for some actual meaningful content.

What is the plot here? We know that the whole Art Camp is a joke so it's not a story about art and being a better photographer. For a split second at the mannequin class I thought there's gonna be some actual lesson but no, MC doesn't see the point of attending and is sleepy so class skipped. Then they look for "inspirations" in the forest but as soon as it's mentioned during the walk with Sophie and Mia they change the subject. MC has camera just so he can shoots some girls and so we players can zoom on boobs.

Miller, strip club/gambling den, the cop, the money...Why should the players care?
Let's send "You're dead" text to MC so the players can start figuring out what this means so we devs can start thinking what to do with this part of the story.

Getting kicked out for drinking and breaking curfew? Understandable, but why 3 days? Why not just pack the bags now to save some time? I know the girls are great but other than that why would anyone want to waste their time after just one day of "camp"? Why there's no talk about Miller being held accountable for getting a student drunk in a strip club? Ms Hill talks about losing teaching license and about mark on MC's records but at the mention of Milller she changes the subject and MC doesn't pursue that topic. It bothers me that this guy doesn't ask the right questions.

My last question, what the heck was that dream scene for?

Great renders but devs dropped the ball with MC's hair. After the night shower guy looks like he still has wet hair when he wakes up and for the rest of the day.

I will also say that she was not revealed as a character Why she became the way she is. All we've learned is that she likes cats, doesn't like drug addicts, doesn't have grandparents.

Many or not freeloaders, but low tier supporters. This is just as bad when BADIK EP 9 Dropped with its free roam only update. 99% of posters agree about the new update. I am not a supporter of this, but I support(or supported) other games, I just feel bad for those who spent ten months worth of money on this update.

Summer Heat Gallery Unlocker [v0.6mab1] [asahibito]

OVERVIEW:
Gallery unlocker file that permanently unlocks the galleries. This should be a safer method of unlocking versus the universal unlockers that sets every label and persistent variables in games. Setting variables especially may mess with game logic.

I may look into the "unlock" button version of gallery mod if the front page mod will not be updated, however due to the way the gallery is coded it likely has to be updated every game version versus the more future-proofed version here.

Good news: We got an update.
Bad news: It's short, no sex, and centered on the most boring LI in the game - Mia. The same girl who simping MC so hard, that is ready to pounce on his dick and choke on it. Bree got a moment, but so what? There is no progression or development with her at the moment other than a kiss. I haven't unlocked the fourth scene, but I'm guessing it's Sophie, I don't have her run, but it's worth a try.

Okay, I understand that developing relationships with MGs in Summer Heat is Ocean's style slowburn. But the developers here give players a full lewd with side chicks, so that players don't sit with blue balls. Was it worth waiting 10 months for this? I think not. Compared to the great 0.5, the new update seems boring. No more than 2.5/5 and only for that:

The only thing the developers could hook me with was the plot twist where Miss Hill wants to kick MC out of the camp for violations. Well, well, well. Who's talking. Remembering her locker with the bottles of booze. I wonder how he'll cope with this challenge. We'll find out about this in 5 years. I would have acted smart, taken photos of her liquor bar in the dressing room and blackmailed her that the college council (and all of Twitter) would find out about it if she kicked me out.
