If you don't want to play a game about lesbians, you are homophobic, machist and a troll, among other insults. That's your point... and people is agreeing with you.

I wanted to know too if I'm going to play this game, become attached to any of the characters, to discover later that this character is a lesbian more interested in other female characters than in the MC that I´m playing with. But actually, it doesn't matter any more. If you are the example of the kind of people that this game and this thread attracts, I think I´m going to stay away from all this. The dev will probably thank you the effort of acting as the commissary of the tread and expel people from here with your insults and your rudeness. That's great for the promotion of a game.
As of now it looks like you can have your wholsome solo route.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

But please proceed with caution here because this answer comes from one of those people that this game and this thread attracts..
So who knows how trustworthy this information really is=)

I think the dev himself is expelling people from here pretty well. Some other devs participating in this forum, at least would say something like "let's maintain this civil, folks, no insults", and would try to maintain new players interested in the product he's selling.
I don't really understand what you expect me to do here.
I'm not going to lie. I don't beg anyone to play my game. And I'm not a moderator here.
A question was asked, I answered. What else was I supposed to do?
I believe I've been very civil and haven't insulted anyone but wasting my energy in trying to "sell my product" to someone who won't buy it would be stupid and counterproductive.

Anyway, I don't like the statement of the dev "Cassie and Eve are closer than close. And even if both genuinely love Jack, for them, he is ultimately a way to get even closer." It hints some kind of lesbian NTR, as someone has already said, and I could not even come here to say that I don't like that plot twist because some Taliban of "social justice" would call me "homophobic", and it seems the dev would be OK with that, according with the (y) he give.

It turns out that this game and this dev is not for me too.
There will be no NTR in Summer Scent, but yes, Cassie's tongue has already gone where no men has gone before.
If you can't take it then... well I don't actually care.
It's just not a game for you. Am I supposed to tell you otherwise?

I don't quite understand what your point is.

Dev Update #103

Still on scene 8. This is taking forever. To be honest, a couple of social events prevented me to work as much as I wanted to and I've lost about a day of work. But still, this is taking me way too long. That scene is the biggest I ever wrote and working on it for so long is getting a bit heavy on the morale.

However, I'm seeing the end of it. I should be able to finish the posing this week. I estimate that I'll need about 60 more shots to cover the end of the scene. Once I'm done with this nightmare, I'll probably code everything I can and send the scripts to my proofreader. He is going to hate me for giving him so many words in a single batch. Post-processing will have to wait a bit.

The heat here has gotten pretty intense in the last few days. Hot enough so that I've put all rendering on hold until the temperature gets more reasonable. I'm not overly worried about rendering time.

The quick sum up :

  • Day 6 Part 1 will contain 10 scenes.
  • Scenes 1 to 9 are written.
  • Scenes 1 to 7 are posed and rendered. The two-thirds of scene 8 is posed and rendered.
  • Scenes 1 to 5 are coded.
  • 40 148 words, 3567 lines of code, 680 shots are posed and 620 are rendered.
  • I'm currently posing scene 8.

You can follow my progress with this

Thank you very much for your support!

Yes, this is not a game for so-called alpha players who are threatened by two female characters being "closer than close" with each other.

So, it looks like you scored a home run. Four people who couldn't remake the game in their image and walked away.

Pretty absurd that gurls social life is driving a wedge between them and MC,
taking into account MC is that lonely he is actually using his friend far away
to further his fantasy of getting outta house and with a girl,
instead of talking to the gurls that live with him about their exploits inside the parties they go to.

They seem to feel hopeless and their only escape is eachother and the parties they go to.
MC should try and make it a more welcoming experience being home,
maybe study group together ”cause Summer needs it.

Bringing the party home might not be a good idea, all their angst might get flustered
at home and then they would deffinitely have nowhere to escape the creeps.

This feels like MC is constantly at a crossroads:
Either proffit from the beating his babes get out in the real world and get them
in their altered state, or try and fix them, which will only get worse before it gets better.

Did y”all feel the game steers us in the second category of actions?

All women are lesbian or bi, is one of the stupid clichés of this kind of porn games, like cocks bigger than arms or like all men being peeping toms when a woman is in the shower or trying to fondle the breasts of a sleeping woman. I suppose that this is what the first comment was saying.

Usually the devs introduce lesbians just for adding kinky sex to the game. In that case, the characters are not actually lesbians, just fuck with another women if they are horny. That can be OK if it's a game for a quick fap. The problem is introducing lesbian romances. That kind of stories as usually introduced by devs that maybe are not SJW per se, but at some level, share that kind of ideas and ideological agenda. And that means that lesbians can't be negative characters and the MC has to agree to lose to a lesbian. The best he can get is to "share" his li with another women. I don't find attractive either to play that kind of stories. If that makes me "homophobic" and a terrible person in general, it's OK. I can live with that.
Honestly, I don't think Eve and Cassie are positive characters. They aren't either positive or negative.

I think no character is positive or negative - except those damn evil psycho fucking brothers, of course.

Just as Droftaw said above.
And about what inspired the story. Basically, the archetype of the tsundere, that I like, and the idea to have a moron as the main character.
Hey there Captain, long time no see.

Almost 6 months ago I started your visual novel, and was blown away by what was probably most emotional, impactful, relatable piece of fiction I've ever experienced. I told you then to take whatever time you need to do this game right, saying that I can wait.

After 6 months without an updated version, I went on this topic again hoping for the next version, and yeah, I see that you're still hard at work trying to get things done right. and yeah, it's a shame that there's still no update, but I believe you when you say that you're working hard on it

I say again, take your time, I can wait! I know it'll be worth it.

Dev,it is a great game.Beacust it is a good story.Honestly the arts is not my cup fo tea,but good story can let you ignore anytings even sex part. And i see you ambition from the much path. But i want say i am unsatisfied with the details of the fucking brothers. Not the bad end for Cassie is dark.Just their low-down trick is at high risk.Under the background i dont think it is easy to lead the bad end, although the relationship breakdowm from Mc and Cassie. It seems that make ti just for the dark end. There is a page missing. If make the fucking brothers more tricky and more process of combat part,it will be more great and rationality.Just a little pity for me,this was not well used.it it could have brought us more surprises.Your game is not a simple fuck game.So when i paly it,i want more rationality unconsciously. Finally i want to see the part when their parents come back and hope goes well for you.

The game starts off with complete nonsense. 3 years ago, MC unexpectedly did not believe his twin sister, best friend and "partner in crime" to rumors. And she did not give any reason for this. Yes of course.
He's either sick in the head in the medical sense. Or someone lied to her friend. (Or the author holds us for idiots.)
I hope this will be revealed in more detail later in the story.

Or maybe he's just an average teenager, you know, dumb as rocks.

It's not about smart or stupid. It's just that all the actions that we do have reasons, even if they are not obvious.
Parents might not believe this if they did not pay attention to her and did not know their child (in short, bad parents). But judging by the description at the beginning they were close with MC, he really knew her. He had no reason not to believe her.
Here either their relationship had already fallen apart by that time or Cassie a little bit embellished some things and belittled others.

It looks as if you don't know how "rumors" and "bad gossip" begin and grow, in life and expecially at school, where the people who hears the rumors are teenagers.
I remember as if it was today (and unfortunately it was a bit more than 20 years ago) that my deskmate's father once came to school to speak with the professors. I don't remember well why, but it was born a rumor that this friend of mine was fatherless because his father was dead.
When my friend's father introduced himself to the teachers, even they had believed the rumor and told him why they were so surprised. He told them, while laughing, that his son had told him the rumor, and how it was born, but he thought that his son's teachers were quite grown up to believe a rumor without asking to his son if it was true.
I doubt sincerely that, even after twenty years, rumors at school are treated different now, expecially if about girl "proclaimed easy" by some morons. And maybe at that age I could be one of those morons.
Movies like Porky's or American Pie had success 'cause they unfortunately describe well a kind of society.
