Dev Update #104
I'm finally done with posing scene 8! In the end, I posed 300 shots for that scene alone. Most of it is already rendered, thanks to a few days of cool weather.
My next objective is to code scenes 6, 7 and 8 so that I can send them to my proofreader. I should be able to do everything this week even if I expect scene 8 and its 14 650 words to take at least a couple of days of work to properly integrate into the game.
I've been listening to potential music for the game all this week. I've found a few interesting tracks but so far, I'm struggling to find something really fitting. Chances are that the next release will still be soundless.
The quick sum up :
- Day 6 Part 1 will contain 10 scenes.
- Scenes 1 to 9 are written.
- Scenes 1 to 7 are posed and rendered. Scene 8 is posed.
- Scenes 1 to 5 are coded.
- 40 335 words, 3567 lines of code, 735 shots are posed and 693 are rendered.
- I'm currently posing coding scene 6.

Six months today. It's good that the day was split in two. Otherwise we would've had to wait over one year for the update.

Cute game. And the different various paths are indeed a very nice touch, and must have been exhausting to write (and require the developer to be attentive to the little things changing between similar routes) - so, well done indeed.
On the topic of sexuality being more than just sexual orientation (obviously, but people are still in-fighting for what's "proper" and "natural" like it's the mid nineteenth century!), I think the tag system needs some improvements, an easy "fix" will be to include references.... I don't know what devs mean by Female Domination, for example, but if it has a tag of [Big Brother-esque Female Domination], I'll get the picture. If it was however [A Guide to the Correction of Young Gentlemen's Female Domination] then you, sir or ma'am, have my full attention and respect.
Lesbian genre, for a more pertinent example, can mean [Porn Lesbian (where women exist solely for the pleasure of men, even when "pleasuring" themselves)] or [The L-Chat Forum's Lesbian (where hiding a male from the gas chambers can get you thrown out of the Lesbian "ethno"-state)].
Incest (which is an umbrella too wide to have when there's foot-job, hand-job, thigh-job, gloved-hand-job, silky-gloved-hand-job, etc.
, but anyway) can be narrowed down too using this proposed reference thingy - [Big Brother-esque Incest] hints at age-blind, teenage male seducing and coercing relative females he shares a house with, while [(to name some game from here) Second Class-esque Incest] is a more a built-in universe thing, where F/M dominating, incestuous acts are the norm, not the exception.
And, so on.
I'd suggest it to management, but I don't want to risk getting the boot. Thank you.

To be honest the incest tag put me off initially but reading the description Eve & Jack are childhood friends and not sisters. I've played it a couple of times and the game is surprisingly deep and enjoyable. I'll also have a look for a walkthrough to see what I'm missing. Look forward to further updates.

Dev Update #105
Scene 6 and 7 are fully coded and have been sent to my proofreader. I'm still working on coding scene 8. I still have about one-quarter of that scene to code. As expected this scene and is 14 000 words take some time to deal with. However, coding still takes more time than I planned for a good reason. I'm correcting renders alongside the coding. I knew I would have several shots to repair, mostly due to Cassie's hair but I've found a bit more than I expected. I've retouched and rerendered about 80 renders so far. I should be able to finish the coding of scene 8 this weekend. Which means next week will be dedicated to posing scene 9.
I'm also still working on the last bonus render of August. I've been striving on that thing for about 10 hours now and I'm still not done with it. I'll probably need at least one more night on it to have it ready for rendering.

The Naughty Captain Just a question... If they aren't sister and brother blood relations but through ward of court how come so many guilty feelings if they fall for each other? I get they may feel guilty over how Cassie may feel but not who they are...

I'm not the DEV, but in the game Eve is like an adopted sister, and it would be weird IRL to fall in love with an adopted sister, even if there aren't real blood ties.

Yes, blood related or not, there would be guilty feelings.
Whatever they are, they have been raised like brother and sister.
And a formal adoption may be a possibility.
