I haven't played this in a while, probably the last couple updates. This is the first I'm hearing of any "dark" ending. I'm not opposed to any of that and have even argued that without a "lose condition" I don't see a story as much more than cheap smut.

Yet, I'd like to know if I've navigated around that part or if I still have choices that may cause it to happen. So what chapter is that in? IIRC, I finished Chapter 3 or 4 last.
(Also, if it helps I was in good standing with both girls).

If you've not played the "R" version that was here before a WT and lighthouse mode has been added to help. There is also Sancho's mod as well.

I lot will have changed, saves will still work, but I don't remember the required things to get the bad ending.

Not gonna lie, the update was great, but a bit short for the wait.
I'm not gonna really complain, I don't pay for it and there are lots of other games to play, and I usually don't mind waiting for quality (you hear that CDPR, you morons?).

And the game still has spades of that.

What I was wondering if I understand correctly, there is no path where the relationship can also include Kelly and the two other ladies or either one of the other two ladies, right?
But at the end of this update when MC overhears the conversation with the twins, I had the option to kiss Kelly, even though I am on the Dual Love path.
Is this a bug, maybe caused by using a mod, or is it an actual wrong path in the game? The girls weren't angry when Kelly told them, but they also suddenly acted as if that was all.

There is and will be no path ending with Jack being in a relationship with Eve, Cassie and Kelly at the same time.

You shouldn't be able to kiss Kelly if you're already in another path.

Then a bug it is, probably really caused by using a mod/changing values. Ah well, I can live with that, I guess, it's less that I NEED all girls in one big relationship, more a question of not wanting to have so many different playthroughs.

I think the problem with this here forum is that many people expect the games to all be about porn. And hardly any of those I actually enjoy are, in fact "just porny game".

This is an ADULT story, touching about mature subjects, with, yes, some porn elements. But that's never been the main drive of the game, it's not about going from one porn scene to the next. It's all about the story and how these characters put in an explosive situation (the twins vendetta) resolve a long, deep sitted conflict they've left rotting for so long (Eve and Jack's relationship).

Meaning most of the content of the update is about moving the story forward and exploring Jack's inner voyage to either redemption or full psychosis breakdown.
Now don't take me wrong, I like the sexy time content as much as the next guy, but I know too that it's not going to be the kind of content we'll have every 5mn playing the game. And that makes it that much more impactful, in my opinion.

I for one really enjoyed the update. I think the pool scene was a highlight of it, and Kelly truly has been shining the last two updates.

You don't need any fucking patch. Everybody always treat Eve as MC's sister. He calls her "sister".

Anyway, an i-patch is implemented in Sancho's mod.
