I don't know if Robin and Nika's tabloid status has ever been discussed here, but for some reason I can't shake the feeling that Robin is up to something. How did the bathroom rumor spread? Why were the tabloids camera ready when Robin took Nika out to talk? I think Robin had a hand in all of this, but what his motive was is still a mystery.

We do accept what is. MC and Nami HAVE TO BE BLOOD RELATED somehow for there to be the tiniest shred of logic to their dynamic and relationship. And therefore, the story itself.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hold Ocean's writing and creative decisions in any kind of high regard whatsoever, but this game would reach record levels of irrationality and lack of logic if they would turn out to be unrelated at all.

Krytax123 was implying Noji potentially a secondary role that was different to her apparent role - mentioning the Landlady trope being a codeword which is definitely a trope on this site, and also, being unaware that there was in fact mention of Nika and Nami's parents in official terms, so I was just mentioning that for any of roles Noji can have, none of them are other than what can be found directly in the current text, regardless of version. Ocean seems to have been vague only recently, but landlady-ism is a poor way to describe Noji in any version of the game, as is innuendo that a Noji wouldn't pay for their keep (as a literal landlady). In every version she has some level of guardianship - the screencaps I've posted show that Nika considers her more than someone who takes his rent, but she's no surrogate in his eyes.

And I agree with your explanation of the reasoning for dropping the adoption side of it. I'd assumed it was changed to remove even the suspicion of a connection other than guardianship.

Just to clarify: I wasnt unaware of Nika and Nami's parents being mentioned, it happened multiple times in the story, my whole post was about Nika and Nami and i never mentioned Noji and dont see her really mentioned in the post i replied to now that im awake again.

I was referring to the discord-screenshot from ocean someone posted earlier describing the official relationships as Landlady and Roommates in my post.

If they were biological siblings, what is Nojiko's reason for hiding this situation from them? This will be explained in the future, and you can tell Nojiko has a good reason. But then we give the story a certain direction in our own way (which leads to a significant deviation from the original story). Each theory here makes assumptions about what might happen in the future, based on the plot in which certain events occur. But coming out with a definitive judgment and saying "biological siblings" has neither evidence nor reference. Nami is one of the main LIs. Nami's and Nika's biological families may be connected and may even be alive. But I definitely don't think they are siblings. Nika may be half-sister with Ayua, but she will not have a connection with Nami.

Until it's revealed we're guessing and reading what we want to into the gaps. If someone refers to an asian lady as their mum, people would assume they're telling the truth, taking it someone's words at face value. That's why Zara mentions that she expected asians - because Noji probably refered to them as hers when organising dinner. After years people get tired of long explanations, stop explaining the full background, they just go with the shortened form.

Same with Nami being a redhead is just conversation - it's not because they look genetically similar at all - Jeff, Trey and Mila thought they were a couple, not siblings. Zara assumes that because Noji is introducting her kids (even though they're wards/foster/adopted whatever) that they're related. A stranger assumes they're related is proof of nothing, just like Jeff, Trey and Mila's assumption was wrong.

But yeah, based on looks I would assume two completely separate bloodlines, just like Trey, Mila and Jeff did, and be weirded out they they have such a sense of taboo over some things while being completely natural with others. I get that they are raised together in the vanilla version, and that some people would just have a wall in their mind because culturally they've been raised as siblings regardless of biology. But as far as looks? So dissimilar. Maja and Vic have at least some similiarities, Ocean's done two sets of twins. He's just made them they way he wants and we'll find out what percentage alien Nami really is at some point.

Ocean has also answered that for you. The reason why I believe he's lying is Patreon. Simple as that. Why doesn't he do the same for WiAB? Also easy to answer. WiAB makes much less money than SG. Ocean himself has admitted that. He is putting all of his eggs on the SG basket when it comes to financial success. So it would make sense that he does not want to jeopardize SG in any way while WiAB is more "disposable". He can't afford screenshots from discord being used against him in a case against Patreon.

Fully agree with you on the second part. Ocean is barely on the level of DPC when it comes to story writing yet for some reason many people here believe he's the Shakespeare of AVN's. That said, I think we would all like to believe that there is some level of coherence and logic in the story. It can't all be nonsense. If MC and Nami were to be unrelated then:

- Why the constant side eye from Nojiko? Why the fears regarding their "closeness"?
- Why do Nami and the MC view their relationship as taboo if they are unrelated? Why that conversation before getting to the pizza shop?
- Why those exchanges with Vanessa who is smart enough to see what's going on?
- If they are just roommates, why is Nami not choking on MC's cock every single morning to help with his "problem"?
- Why the fuck would these morons keep asking "Why is she red?" If they are unrelated and Nojiko just took in two orphans around the same time why would it be weird that Nami is a ginger?
- Why do MC and Nami speak about memories of their parents as if they do indeed share the same parentage?

I don't have an incest kink. I would prefer if they were not blood related as I intend for Nami to be endgame for me. But the entire fucking script so far really implies that they are. Not just the script but the renders themselves (ex: Nojiko's side eye). None of it would make sense if they don't somehow share the same parentage.

Of course, Noji just announced bringing her "kids" along and Zara thoughts they were her biological kids which is reasonable to assume but its not about what others assume (in this case Zara), its about Nika's reaction.

and Nika replies: Yeah dont know how that happened

Which is nonsensical if they arent related at all, he would just clarify they both being adopted/not related and therefore there would be no reason for them to share any traits.

Its the same with Mila, Jeff and Trey - they assume that Nika and Nami are a couple - and Nika and Nami clarify that they are "Roommates" instead and everyone is like "Ooohhh, i didnt saw that coming!" and its made sounds logical that in this case they obviously couldnt be a couple.

Which is nonsensical, being roommates doesnt exclude being a couple while being siblings very much exclucdes being a couple (in non avn worldview lol) and makes their reactions logical.

Futhermore Nika mentions multiple times (for example after the hangout with mila and vic) how Nami's behavior (flirty, jealous, in love, emotional) could make them vulnerable and them being seen as wieird by others which is illogical, nobody would care about two roommates in love (nobody but noji) but somehow it is a big deal.

Its really such a reach to ignore all these mentions over and over again and again in the avn and imo only possible if youre deliberatly trying to not see them.

It is a good debate, both AVN have the same DNA, both have patches that appear together with the update (even before as well) both have as an answer in discord that "there are no family relationships" (that is easily found) but, here we have to put the brake, the user formerly known as Oceanlab, did not delete all incriminating posts in WIAB, which he did here in SG.
