Changes is scenes again, well, im gonna replay the game like 4th time when S1 will be out
This is the final part of the rework of Season 1 prior to the Steam release.

This rework has been ongoing for more than one year and Ocean is wrapping up the last third of CH 2 as well as fixing continuity issues (renders/logic).

We just got some nice S2 renders since Ocean's hardware upgrades now allow him to work on two iterations of SG simultaneously.

If you are a Nami fan - here is what we get to look forward to in S2:

I have never spoken out against the fact that he corrects old content, character, renderings and etc., but when he does this several times, it’s already a waste of time!
Example:
The previous version of Nami was great, why waste time making new her, and make her bodybuilder?

Thats the problem of being a perfectionist.
He may think that if he can create perfect renders, perfect his writing, basically a perfect game he can avoid or minimize the pain of not being recognised, harsh judgment, and low bank balance. It's like a shield. It's a twenty-ton shield that he lugs around thinking it will protect him when, in fact, it's the thing that's really preventing him from taking flight.

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've read. I think he is more than well recognised in this particular field. More than the majority.

Because that's an improvement.
Because of these improvements, this game and the other, have been tampered with the plot or more than years!
Yes, they are becoming visually better, but again, the previous version of the same Nami was excellent, why bother with this? After all, it takes time, you can’t argue with that! It turns out that you wait a year and because of the steam version he cut all the "sex" content - how could he delete the scene of Nami and MC in the jacuzzi? Scene was so hot!
I'm not complain - it's just a fact!
But you won’t argue that during the year of development the the plot barely progressed and most likely several months of this period were spent on so-called improvements!

You seem to have answered your own question, he could and did delete the scene because of the Steam version. :KEK:

At least the game exists, is developing, getting better and has a good chance of getting onto Steam.
While many of the great games I was following around the same time I started following SG were already abandoned. Or were rejected by Steam and later abandoned because of the frustration of their developers.

This is not a literal, but a figurative question, it is clear that he deleted everything "hot" because of the steam version, and as i understand that in the second season everything "hot" for the future content will not be deleted, but when will this be?
For me, this is not an improvement, this is a downgrade!
It’s just a shame, because his games are very good, but need to wait a whole year to play new content, while a lot of things will be redone, and i have to start the game from the very beginning every time!

I have made it a rule to answer figurative questions in this thread in the most serious manner. Although, it's unlikely my credit, but questions like “Is this game abandoned” seems have been asked less often lately. :KEK:

Nobody knows when the first chapter of S2 will be released but Ocean. Judging by the latest devlog, he has already done half the number of renders of the average chapter for S2CH1, but all his numbers should be treated with a grain of salt. Anyway, this is good progress, given the parallel preparation for Steam release and the recent WiAB release.

I understand that you (and me too) want the story to continue, but from a developer's point of view, a successful release on Steam is much more important now, and I think that is where he is now applying his main efforts, polishing the full version of the first season.

And why the Nami preview from devlog is a rework? It's a new render made for a new S2CH1 chapter.

I was talking in the sense like he is already making perfect renders, writing (not) making him popular, wealthy...
I mean anyone can see that he well recognised, just by seeing his supporters count and 5 star reviews both games has in f95
I was actually trying to say why he may be doing like this and why it is not good in the longer run.

There has been one required restart of Summers Gone in the last three years.

This was due to a software rev change that forced the restart - and was clearly identified when the restart was required.

What you call a downgrade I call Ocean making a business decision on how to best manage his AVNs.

The next step - in terms of resourcing and expanding his audience - is the upcoming Steam Season 1 release of SG.

I'm a $ supporter and I fully support Ocean's choices here.

It's not like he can monetize the Many downloads of SG made from F95 by those who have never supported him with $.

We get new content with each release of SG and these have come, historically, about 1x/6 months versus the:

'need to wait a whole year to play new content'

I'm looking forward to the new scenes in CH 5 Final and to Ocean wrapping up Summers Gone Season 1!

Cheers!! :coffee:

You yourself confirmed in your own words that the game has been "standing still" for three years!

And why do those who support the dev financially constantly have the idea that those who pirate his projects do not have the right to express their opinion? :ROFLMAO:

I never said that the dev is doing something bad - it’s his business how to do his projects! I just provided some facts, which in my opinion, complicate and delay the release of new updates!

His games are very good, cinematics, renderings, characters, dramatic stories, musical accompaniment, all this is done at the highest level!!!
Only one thing is missing - "hot scenes"!
Which is the fate of steam to be removed from the project and yes, my opinion is that this is a downgrade not only in "hot scenes" but also in the plot of the relationship between Nami and Niko! Scene in the jacuzzi could push them further in the plot where their next "hot scene" it would be much better and more "serious", but dev have to re-create the scene to go further with their sexual plot(i.e. in other words, start again from the beginning)! Which increases the waiting time for such content significantly!

Dev has great respect for his work, but a little constructive criticism, even from a pirate, wouldn’t hurt!

And this is just my subjective opinion!

Bro, I'm not talking about you, but in general, having followed this thread for a long time, it's very funny to see how those who often talk a lot about the right to express their opinions are usually very sensitive to the constructive criticism of their own posts. :KEK:

Getting back to your point, Ocean seemed to explain his reasons, but I understand that not everyone posting here is constantly following this thread. Let's say he brought back all the deleted scenes. Honestly, even with all the removed dick angles and Nami's wiggling ass in the jacuzzi, can season one be considered adult content in the sense that people expect from adult content on Steam? Did you expect such kind of scenes as adult content if you first saw the announcement of the Summer's Gone? I bet you don't, you're expecting something like BaDIK or something similar, with lots of sex scenes from a game tagged as "adult only."

Well, what impression will people have of the game when they will rush to buy a game with such quality renderings and labeled as “for adults” and when they don’t find the porn they expected there? The constant mourning howl in this thread "seeeeex wheeeen" is not enough for you? And it is going on and on despite the fact that on the main page it is written that this is not a porn game, and it does not have porn tags yet, and at the beginning of the game, Nami and Sasha persistently warn you about this and protect your balls from turning blue? :KEK:

And the first impression that the public gets about a new developer on Steam is very important and will then affect all his subsequent works that he will publish there. So don't you think this is a fair compromise: he removes a micro amount of controversial content for the supposedly non-adult first season and doesn't give the public false expectations of it. Then he releases the second season tagged adults-only and makes happy those who were expecting porn content from him. Or he leaves Nami's jacuzzi scene and fails the release with removed music that was only licensed for use in non-adult content, gets his game restricted in some countries like Germany, and attracts a lot of "excited fans" crying that they were "scammed", that the "developer is lying" and the game is not for adults, and they are demanding a refund. What would you choose in his place?

I'm also very curious about the impressions of people who found this game recently and only saw the latest version of Nami's scene in the jacuzzi without erotic animation. What do you think, does this scene seem unnatural, illogical to you, did you like it or not?

So much text and all for nothing! xD:LOL:

Of course, i read what was written at the very beginning on the main page!

The dev didn’t have any problems with sex in his other game(but it also does not have much plot development over several years - just reworks), just take a simple trend: the market for such projects is aimed at teasing to the end, when games stand for years on a storyline in order to approach the hot scenes!
Blue balls are a feature of similar projects that plague their audience - as if we are waiting for GTA6! xd

Are we in a kindergarten or on a forum for adults? He positions himself as an dev of an adult games!

But again, I’m talking about progress and you’re ready to sit and watch regression and enjoy it!
Well good luck!

Yep, that's why the complaints "Why dev doesn't show me the girls pipi's, I want to see it now!" sounds a little annoying from supposedly adult people.

But again, I’m talking about progress and you’re ready to sit and watch regression and enjoy it!

If you measure progress in inches of the depth of penetration of the MC's penis into a pussy, then yeah, there is no progress at all.
But rest assured, I am enjoying the game and will continue to enjoy it. :KEK:
Good luck to you too!

Dude, when i first played Summer Gone and this was more than a year ago, my plot ended with Niko sitting at home and scrolling through the F@ceb...k news feed on his phone, depending on the decision made, either the update ends there, or Bella comes to you and the end update!
After more than a year, how far has the plot progressed?
