Hello,
So, another song has been licensed for a future cinematic… It always hits me like a truck when I’m listening on Spotify shuffle and a song comes on that immediately hits me with a cinematic.
Luckily, after looking up who made the song, I already knew him and had licensed of him before, but I’d never heard that song before.
I love witnessing the successful birth of a future cinematic.
I’ve given animations a more prominent focus now. I usually do them around the end of an update, but I have quite a few to do.
Obviously, the beginning of a Season will get its intro cinematic.
I secured the license back in August 2023, and it’s been waiting to be molded.
On the other hand, I have a huge queue of renders waiting to be rendered, and if I render animations through the night, they do finish at some point, and the PC is just sitting there…
I went back in time and did something I used to do when I just started developing.
Back then, I set the alarm every two hours to get up -> save the render -> load a new file -> click render & set the alarm again, -> back to sleep.
Simple images used to take around two hours… I’m glad that’s over.
But I’ve been doing the same with my animations. With the switch to 4k, I do now have to render them in 4K, too.
I didn’t do that in the past because it takes longer, and I was releasing in 1920x1080 back then anyways.
But it’s not going to postpone the update because even if the animations aren’t finished by the end of the rendering process… they will finish during the postwork and testing phase.
I did start porting characters over to Blender to make cinematics there… I also have some Sasha animations that I did in Blender, and I particularly focused on detailed movement in the face region by dialing it in manually.

2. Season 2 - Chapter 1
I’m about to finish four scenes. I already previewed one of them, but I can’t show anything else of it.
As soon as I have finished these four scenes, I will move on to a scene I’ve been looking forward to for a long time.
The scene is about Victoria and Maja. I have definitely mentioned the scene in previous logs, and man, I am so excited!
Work’s been great.
Advances are made everywhere.
Ahhh, right. I do have an RL friend who is rather good with coding… No, he doesn’t do Python or Renpy, so I can’t use him for the actual game…
But I thought about some things I do every day that he might be able to automate for me.
And sadly, I can’t automate postwork. I do something very specific for every single render that cannot be automated.
But maybe some other things that are directly involved in setting up scenes… I’ll keep you updated about this.

Love Ayua, but if would to choose would take Adriana. Curious to see who is the third girl on the picture, and the context of it.
Ocean does not talks more about LIs. So far as I know she still is on "special case" what does it means I don't know.

Maybe dev is not sure about Ayua because he thinks about using her as a LI on his 3rd game in the future? To build an Oceanverse like someone said a while back.
If this is the case i think that if Adrianna is a LI or lewdable, Ayua will not be.
If Ayua is, Adrianna will not be.
And theres asmall chance that neither of them will be LI or lewdable too.
And if Ayua will be the LI (or one of the LI) on a 3rd game, she will be a few years older.

Lewdpatcher hasn't been updated to the current game, it's unlikely to be updated as the game's been updated. If you use lewdpatcher, it's only work for the version it is listed for, not the full season 1. You'll end up with errors everywhere.
I think the infamous patch is someone else's version of the lewdpatcher, just the script changes they think make sense, like lewdpatch was, and the uncut version is a fan made one restoring cinematics that were cut because of licensing, scenes that were changed or shortened etc.
If you want to see the historical versions, the uncut mod is the only thing you need. If you just want something equivalent to lewdpatcher (ie keep all the official renders the same), the infamous mod is all you need. If you want to carry your save from season 1 to season 2, mods might cause that to fail. Season 1 unpatched is the only supported save that will import into season 2... Ocean won't guarantee the game works with any third party mod.
That is what I'd thought but my understanding was the third game idea with the female protagonist will be set inbetween WiaB and SG. Ayua would have to be in a fourth game then, which is far too distant for me to even register as a thought process. I'm far mor interested in the Ayua in that render to wait for the planned fourth game.
There is no problem with siblings being LI's, as long as they are solo paths ie. you can choose one of them, and only one, no throuple possible, door a or door b, choice swings shut behind you.

Man, if you only know how bad things really are!
We both know that the Zone is the main place where the core audience of story-driven games with adult elements hangs out, so the recent influx of one-star one-liners or on the contrary, long-ass reviews (which were very stylish but somehow sounded a bit machine-generated,) anyways, it was the final nail in the coffin.
It's a catastrophe! First, the release on Steam was a total failure. This dude was right about everything!
Thanks to the Brazilian and Russian curators and buyers who exposed the fraud, opened everyone's eyes and saved humanity from blueballing! The resonance was so strong that Ocean probably not only didn't earn anything, but also ended up in debt to Steam!
The next blow came from P*treon, this dude did a deep research that conclusively proved the complete disaster, the rejection of the game and the growing flow of fleeing ex-patreons.
Having lost support, funding and looking at falling ratings in the zone, Ocean began some shady manipulations with video cards in order to make ends meet. I don't know much about it, I can tell by the strange replies to someone whose posts I can't see. He must be a secret agent investigating the Ocean case, so his posts are classified on the site for me.
And as a prank, the guys from Reddit gave Ocean mocking awards, which was very painful.
So, as you can see, everything is ruined. R-U-I-N-E-D!As to Ocean's capabilities... here is what some voted for in the 2024 AVN Awards:

Ocean cries in the devlogs, does not post any previews or renders because of that case with video cards, complains about bad luck, really regrets that he did not listen to the wise advice from the Zone, asks for forgiveness, promises to return the dark path, Marla with a gun, dolphin gangbangers, Bella's psycho smile and Mila's boobs.
That's how it is. I myself, however, did not read the devlogs, but I heard this from one reliable guy from the Zone, whom I trust completely, since he once wrote 100 negative reviews in a day on a bet, without repeating complaints and insults in any of them.
