In WiAB Log 26 he said he wouldn't deliver any previews, he implied that the game was being finalized, but two weeks later he comes back with millions of excuses, a preview of Miru that doesn't deliver anything. Just to fool the suckers and finally a long list of what's missing.The only mention I can see of seasion 1 is a typo on the season 2 ch1 preview. If you notice, it's the same outfit we see vic wearing in all the S2Ch1 previews. He's not touching season 1.
Dev can rewrite as much as they need for things that haven't been released. Calm down with that. Most devs I know only have storyboards or vague plans before starting a new chapter, half the time the renders inspire the dialogue and vice versa.
I am also wishing for a game to play, but it's not there. The last two devlogs of WiaB explain why his SG render count isn't increasing. He's trying to push WiaB out like an overdue baby (preganancy fetish anyone?)
I applaud OCean for starting postwork on SG while waiting for WiaB things to complete. I don't applaud the time, but are you going to pedal faster so his WiaB renders and workload complete faster? No?
I thought pirates should be cool and chill because they're getting all the booty. Tomorrow's booty is tomorrow's problem. Go find yourself some other booty today.
Oh and Blender Sasha is a huge step forward from previous creepy blender Sasha. Massive improvement. Blender will be a good thing, I see more devs are trying to pivot towards it. It'll mean a better game in the end.

I don't enjoy watching Ayua age 15 years in a day and then going back to her old self the following day either. I mean, my brain struggles enough trying to keep up with Schrodinger's scratches. (Was the damn cat even real?!?!!? Did the MC alucinate that part of the heist?!?!)
But scratchgate aside, we know Ocean's just started dipping his toes in the Blender water. It's gonna take a long while until he's comfortable. And that's fine.
Then again we have to keep in mind we're talking about Ocean here. I fear that once he makes the transition, he will keep fiddling until the entire cast of his game becomes unrecognizable.

I came to read dev vlog and comments.. And ye.. I'm speechless wtf?? Why rewrite Season 2 I replay SG couple of times all fine. Just render inconsistencies which was promised to redo, but that's about it. I don't get this dev anymore. I say put WIAB on a shelf man and focus on SG without any bullshit reworking anymore. But I doubt he will listen.

I don't get why the musicians are not giving permission to use their songs. It's literally free money. Who's gonna know that you let one of your songs to be on some visual novel. It's not like they are that popular so the word is gonna get around either. Just take the money and get on with it. Sure it's a lewd game (even though there are no sex scenes in it yet) but it is a great one, hell give it a try while you're at it.

Season 2 Ch 2 hasn't been made. Fiddling with things that haven't been worked can't be a rework. Most devs do keep fiddling with the things they're yet to start doing. If it hasn't been public, it's not a rework.
Focus on today's problems - we don't have SG S2Ch1. Let's find a solution in the latest games forum while we wait. It's up to Ocean - if you wait too long and lose interest, you'll be happy with the other games you found. But worrying that development means making changes to work that Ocean hasn't even started is intense. Don't let it take over your life!

So is the general consensus that the girl in the end is Bella's sister? I've literally never read up on this thread until this moment. Any theories on why the sister is in a coma? It also took me a minute to realize that the item the sister is holding is the teddy Bella stole. Well, looks like it anyways. My guess is that it used to belong to the sister but since she was in a coma Amber gave it to the MC. Also since it was my first time playing both games, How often do updates come out? From the little I've seen and heard from others, It's normally a good wait between them? It makes sense considering the quality of the games but does this dev make excuses and keep pushing back like some other big "dev" that wont get named?

Updates take a looong time. But you're gonna wait less compared to us because the next update is probably on august-ish. He's working on two games at the same time. The other one "Where it all began" is a prequel to Summer's gone, so go check it out while you wait for sg.
Less excuses, he's more of a perfectionist so he doesn't trust anyone else to help with production so the updates take a heck of a long time.

I've actually had both games bookmarked for a while now. Just never got around to it. It's funny because I never knew they were connected. I played Where it all began first and then I had a friend of mine mention that they're connected. I made Miru one of my signatures as soon as I finished lol. I honestly don't mind waiting a good amount of time if the updates are high quality like they are. Now, i'm not entirely sure how long those updates are but i assume the updates are a good size? Does he alternate which one he updates or do they get updated roughly around the same time? Roughly meaning maybe a few weeks?

Typical update sizes in the past have been ~2300 renders per update. The current update is currently at ~5160 and is aimed to be ~7000. There are some games that would have that as their total size.
Updates are supposed to alternate, but they kinda end up impacting each other. Currently it's WiaB's turn, as that's the imminent update, once that's on steam, Ocean's going to focus on SG to get that update out. After that, hopefully he'll settle back to the reasonable ~2300 render updates, which he should be able to deliver more reliably.
A few weeks is but the blink of an eye in the Oceanverse. A mere drop. You'll need a bigger measure of time. I'm sure all the residents of the thread will tell you how long you'll wait and make jokes about retirement homes. If you like the games be prepared to do other things while you wait and don't hold your breath. I drink coffee
