i am part of the 30% that buys the games online on steam or some other stores!

this to say that yes the community is a great marketing strategy but its also a double edged sword that eats away at your income for "little" gain so to speak!

and lets face it if we want great games we gotta pay for them some way or another and you are biting the hand that feeds you and not a single thank you for all the hard work put in already, or a thanks to those that actually support!

i understand your frustration for the waiting time and the longing to turn Bella into an Anal slut eats away at my patience too but it is what it is, the story is going great so far and its engaging (and some nice pics too ...)! but hey at least you have something to live for since the Zane universe will probably take 30 years to complete and besides i will enjoy it much more as i sip on a glass of Gin with my girl Sasha holding tight to me as Bella and Nami service me under the table in the romantic date for 2 with Sasha!

I think you may have replied to the wrong person. I don't even play this VN, I just popped into this thread and noticed the discussion after looking at the Patreon page.

Well, i would say a mix both examples. Just a guess, i have in the best cases only very³ poor renpy knowledge and about python no frigging clue. I would asume things like the gallery or the menu per se needs much coding, to me it looks like nothing in this game is done with the prefabricated plugins.

But hey, it's a total scandal that a developer wants to have some money left over at the end of the month and doesn't want to come out zero for zero. If you look at any of the sites which correlate prices, the costs of living in Germany isn't usually in the top ten within Europe on any of them

As in any nation, it depends on the area you live in. I couldn't even dream of being able to afford a comparable flat with my income in, say, Berlin. In the area where I currently live, I can manage well with my income.

Are you simple? It literally said that goal has been reached. So it's literally not the current goal. The current goal is what Mortarion posted.

Yall do know the simplest solution to developers "not doing anything" is to simply ignore their work and not bitch about it in a forum where majority of its users may not be a paying supporter right?







What makes yall think complaining your woes and exchanging arguments with strangers about a porn game you may not care about would make the development of any game instantly finish to completion lmao

btw i've played the game without any patches (clean setup), Nami is not MC's blood sibling right? From what i've read in these threads Nami is supposed to be MC's sister. But she and MC got adopted by Nojiko which apparently made them step siblings. This is how I view it. I want to affirm this bcs Nami is very quirky and cute and I want to do her route. She's amazing. One of the few games in which I can understand the heroine's character. Gotta say Ocean made a very good game

You want to know how much Health insurance in Germany costs if you are not an employe? Trust me german living costs as indepented developer are insane, you cannot compare them to the average living costs. Ocean stated how much he has to pay for different things more than once in his discord. And I for sure don't believe he is doing this just to get more money - he needs more graphic cards to render faster that's the main issue and the reason for the long development times. He recently said just loading some scenes takes up to 10 minutes just imagine that loading time with update sizes of tousands of renders.
