Albeit a Bella supremacist, I too agree somewhat with this sentiment.
Although what I want is to see Bella hanging out at school and interacting with everyone. After the first episode, I feel like she's always only been seen with the MC.

If I remember correctly, in the toilet where we were pushed into a stall by Robin we had a chance to eavesdrop a conversation of some of the girls in school. They didn't speak highly of Bella, one of them called her a "stupid whore" or something in that caliber. ( I can't exactly remember but it was an unpleasant term. )

Others seem to dislike Bella, but they are most likely afraid of confronting her. And what made my heart sink is the choice we got right after hearing that. It was something like "She's not like that."

By the way, I assume Sonya is in a sort of itchy foreshadowing. I think Ocean wants to give her the " momentum " for a long time, and she might be the character the chapter is focused on during the next episode, which must includes the game session tbh.

Or maybe it's Sasha who will take the leading part ?

True about Bella, ideally each release should be more equally divided among the various girls so no matter who your fav is, you get enough content.

That is very very hard to do if you want to focus in story more than a "dating sim". Bella was useful in the beginning to push the story. Eventually, someone else might be necessary and other characters might have to wait in the bench. Specially so soon in the story.

I have no idea how dev is planning to do so, but some characters will have more screentime simply because of who they are. For example it is hard to imagine a single day with Nami not in MC's life but there is little reason besides college for Sonya to interact with MC.

I don't know how it works in american's universities, but I find the basketball system a bit convoluted. Ok the unisex is just a porn fantasy, but then you have a "first" team with seniors and freshmen ? Next, the MC wins because of his manipulative skill, but that won't work against total strangers. And sorry but a dwarf playing basketball with normal people is just ridiculous

Oh right I have forgotten about that. It was a good move indeed. Specially good to force MC to interact while not betraying his unsocial personality.

Not sure exactly what is he going for. A lot of what seems big plotlines are optional such as the break in with Bella or the sexual scandal with Robin. Of course, it could be that regardless of your choices you end up in the same place, but that would be hard to swallow for many players.

I read somewhere that the overall focus of the story has changed since the first release. Originally, MC could go very dark when now its focus seems to be about healing or something like that. Healing is sufficiently broad as a topic so that everything can happen without one particular drive for the story.

Anyway, for now we wait. On another topic, does anyone knows anything about WIAB?

It doens not matter if some players dont want to swallow it. We know, his two games are connected, what is already proven in the last update with Auyas aunt. That mean, there has to be a canon storyline that leads to the events and constallations from WiaB, and no player can change this with his rant.

Yeah that was surprising to me.

Honestly it could go both ways. It could be that she is at the top of the female food chain (which is what I expected after Episode 1) and the other girls are merely bitching about her when she isn't there.
Or she's genuinely not the prima donna at the school and her clique is an isolated group. I don't think that is the case given how outgoing and "stylish" Ayua is but I'd love to see Bella in school more so we get a better idea.

We might see some power politics when word goes around about Bella kissing MC perhaps. Maybe the girls would openly look down on her given her "poor" choice in men, leading to more tension between Bella and MC.

Sonya and Sasha being dev favourites could mean they show up charging into the main plot like a wrecking ball at any moment. I feel like Sasha might be a fair ways off since she gives off a feeling of being deeply involved with the main plotline involving MC.

What to say about the last update,

Like in the first part of the 3rd chapter amazing renders nothing to say on that matter.

About the plot i will say that it's a very interesting and an amazing one, but it's going far to slow compared to how much updates this game get per year, at this rate we will either have a rushed ending without any sens or meaning, or an abandoned project unfortunately.
Some plot devices are also not very well hidden, i mean everyone knows that sacha is basically Summer that suffered through some accident that made her lost her memory.

The BIG problem with this game, is the lack of anything sexual between characters, i know that the dev want a game focused on the plot and that he put his blue ball warning, but that's an Adult porn game with less action then a Disney teenage tv serie, i mean the characters don't even Kiss, and when the one kiss we had was like a big deal, when for fuck sake they are college students not middle schoolers, and that's not the only problem the dev seem to want to implement fetishes but then never finish his job, the number of foot scenes without any foot rubbing or even kissing, even the last update last femdom scene was rushed and half assed.

It's an amazing game, one of the greatest here no doubts about that, but i really hope the dev will adress all its issues because at this rate he will just join the graveyard of great games, that were abandoned or got a rushed half assed ending.

I have a hard time believing that, i mean all the hints he put into it, it's just too much, i think it's more like he didn't intend the people to see through it so easily so he just backtracked on the idea.

I don't think that's going to happen, at least not in the way you described. If the bathroom talk is any indication, the MC is getting quite popular with the girls in school, not to mention the ones from the class. He is going to the gym, will possibly get into the first team or beat them in that exhibition match, there's also the optional Robin thing and of course kissing a girl like Bella might also make him more alluring. It seems to me that he is going to be the talk of the school for quite some time, while Bella on the other hand seems to be disliked by most people, at least that's the vibe I was getting when I played the last update. So I think it will be the exact opposite of what you said. People will be wondering why the MC is pursuing the crazy girl that no one likes.

As for what will create the tension between them... Initially, I thought it was going to be the whole Robin thing, but that's optional for some reason, so I guess there's going to be something else. It's hard to know for sure, but I think Bella will probably try to stay away from the MC at first, but since they have a project to complete and the whole Holgerson thing, I don't think that will last long. Maybe the conflict between them will come from Bella's jealousy? We know it was a thing even before the kiss and it will probably escalate even more if any other girl comes too close to the MC. She will try to push the MC away, while being jealous AF of the competition, which will probably mean an even bitchier Bella.

Girls like confidence in all scenarios. If you are semi attractive, most girls will take the guy who is confident in their own skin over the person who is more wishy washy and a Golden Adonis. On this site they call that confidence Alpha, and is definitely a trope for sure. Women also like the semi damaged guy so they can fix him. So if you have a guy who is semi attractive, broken, and confident in their actions (like our MC) .. dude is absolutely the bees knees for most girl.

You will note I said girls, not women. These are girls. Yes they might have finished puberty but it is a fact the the human brain continues to mature into the mid-20s. Our characters in this story are 18-20, so they are still changing who they are in the world and understanding how they fit into it. They are also still not 100% sure how they fit into the adult world, and how they fit with men in general (so many virgins, limited experienced girls). Thus they all have the same "ohhhh .. confident damaged guy" radar. Until they finish maturing, and establish what they prefer, this MC will have girls chasing him forever.

Please note - this was not a bash against women, boys/men have the same issues (same maturation timeline), but I wasn't discussing them. We have our own fucked up things we do as well.
