It's not that bad compared to how MC played both Zara and Nadia (said something like who offers best) and then he ripped Zara's shirt and left her with her exposed melons.......so MC thought that it wasn't that humiliating to get stripped down by two girls he just manipulated and it was a small price to pay.

This is why Coach Hill recommended them to wear brassières under their shirts due to how much it exposes. I'm not going to get too into it, because, at the end of the day, this is an AVN. But, if you're entering a unisex basketball game with that kind of shirt without a bra underneath... honestly what would you expect? Then for her to cry because it did not work out for her when she slammed into the MC(playing very aggressively for someone who can so easily expose herself)... it's things like that which remind me that this is just a game at the end of the day lol. Also, while we are talking about that sequence, she may have exposed herself much sooner wearing that kind of top without a sports bra or even a regular brassière. But that would have probably been too realistic lol

Also, if you've played any sports, you'd know that mental play isn't that out of the ordinary. I've played many sports, and let me tell you... girls are much worse lol. Zara most of all should be accustomed to that kind of thing if she really was such an athlete. MC did nothing wrong, although it was a bit cowardly, it was very smart and it worked out for him and his team. But that's just my opinion on it

It's specific to Bella and MC. Aside from Nami(in certain cases), Bella is the only girl comfortable with showing herself completely to the MC. If you were on Mila's route and invited her to the gym, she did not reveal herself to the MC like Bella, and neither do any of the other girls he invites to the gym. Also, this came after the day that Bella took MC out for new clothes. On that day, she'd realized that MC had a... problem when it came to being aroused. That and he did not react to her obvious cameltoe, in fact, he'd barely even noticed it until she'd pointed it out. At that point, they'd flown past that awkward stage that most young couples go through. Bella became comfortable with showing her body to the MC, and while I don't believe that she is a shy girl, I think that speaks volumes for their level of intimacy at that point. Bella went from hiding in the bathroom stall while MC and Jeffrey were there, to confidently walking into MC's shower stall. Definitely has more to do with relationship progression(intimacy) and Bella making a power move than anything else.

Or it could be, that Bella just don't give a fuck in that moment and was just to angry to notice that she was in her birthday suit while invading MC's shower stall. It seemed to be that Bella was not aware of the practice of her mother.

I wouldn't mind this either. As mentally unstable as Bella is, she'd still have a lot of options. The same can be said for Jill. It's normal for girls to have interests too... but that's not something you'd normally see in these games. When I do see writers/developers attempt to take this on, and give the girls lives outside of the MC, it's not very well received. I mean guys, I hate to break it to you, but girls like Bella and Jill would have had guys trying to break down their doors trying to be with them.

I agree that it may make some people feel better knowing that the person they've rejected will still find happiness. This is the main reason why I want more games to implement this. The only reason this doesn't work is because the rival that's often introduced to the MC, is often a jerk of some kind that only wants to use the LI. While men like that exist, there are also men who want genuine relationships. While I don't think Summer's Gone will really get into it(this is how I feel right now... I mean anything can happen it's supposed to be like 30 chapters), I believe it will open the door for things like this. I never really understood why the LI's of these AVNs are all supposed to be loyal to an MC that's not. But maybe that's just me lol

herm i always wondered why other dudes in these games are jerks and then i remembered ... they are not its just the players and the MC projecting themselves onto to those men! since they can only judge others in accordance with their own values of taking as much tail as they can they can not even fanthom what in their minds are idiots like Vidal the king of Pervert who would stay loyal to one girl because they would no do it!

do not get me wrong i am an asshole but it does not mean i am unable to walk in others shoes and understand that for some the important thing is not to conquer a different girl everynight but to conquer the same woman everyday! i would not do it its not in my nature but i can understand how some would!

whatever the answer might be i do not wish to know it! it will be tragedy for sure!

So how would you react at this point (remember, not exclusive yet) if she comes back to school in a week or so, completely avoids the MC, but eventually you hear she's 'talking' with some other guy or is just seen around the halls with another dude who's walking her to classes, etc.? Would you have an emotional meltdown (it's okay if the answer is yes, I'm just asking, not judging or criticizing)? For me in that situation, I'd be offended but I wouldn't completely flip out just from her talking to another guy. Now if the character started getting sexual with another guy while we had something sort of going / developing (like we do with Bella now), I'd just write her off and look for another woman (would do the same thing IRL, too) - if I just saw her with another guy or heard she was talking with another dude / dating etc. I would just want a route in the game where I could have a good lane of communication to see what was up, especially after the result of the date we'd just had in an attempt to put the cards on the table so-to-speak.

Unless they have substantial assets, if her parents were to stop working, their lifestyle would rapidly collapse. Wealth is self sustaining. Work or don't work, you live without monetary concerns, because your assets grow faster than your spending. So, depending on how aggressively you invest, to sustain a $500K life style you'd need assets of between $10-$15 million. We can debate what level of self sustained spending constitutes wealth, but in the US that's probably the minimum to be considered wealthy.

While it may be a problem, MC seems to have already gone through something similar with Summer. Her seemingly being from an upper-class family as well. Oh and Bella doesn't really seem to mind that much outside of the occasional joke here and there. Before, when she could not tell that she was falling for him, she did not mind his status and rather chose to poke fun at it. It's only after she came to the realization that she's falling hard and fast for our MC, that she has this sort of mental break because of it. I think her reaction has more to do with her feeling this way about a guy than her feeling that way because of MC's status. I mean, we can't forget this scene lol

P.S: Now I'm not going to lie, in the real world, most women(including myself) will look out for whether or not a man is capable of supporting us and a family should it come to that. Money is attractive... that's a given. But not all women really care about that. In this case, MC is far from an idiot, and I can see someone like him becoming quite successful if they were to put their mind to it. Some women see this potential in guys, some don't, but I wouldn't say that couples like that are only limited to fairytales. Ya, think of it as a "starting point" for the MC based on emotional damage from past events as you're absolutely right - he is a fuckin' dick during the initial chapter and that's by design. Thankfully it would seem that via in-game choices / decisions we, as the player, are given the opportunity to shape the character a bit. He may never become a "straight-laced" dude, but I can already see by the end of Chapter 3.5 the differences in the way he behaves and speaks to people just based on my decisions with him and I've got a tendency to be kind of a jerk to some of the characters when I feel it's warranted, but at the end of the day, the player essentially can guide him in a better, less assholic direction if you want. We may not 'always' get that choice, but I do hope we get plenty of opportunities. The more control and decisions we get to make on how to handle situations, the better, IMO.

While kindly stated, the facepalmers also don't quote the comment and explain WHY they think it's 'unwise". In other words they can't be bothered to state their opposing opinion. So why shouldn't their response be ignored? Lots of good debate in these threads. Many commenters expressing opposing opinions.

Usually not to me. Although, if you were to look at the reactions to my comments, you'd see I've attracted the behavior a few times. I was making an observation about the behavior of those who indulge in that type of response in general to those whose comments with which they disagree. Just observing the herds as it were. Lemmings, one and all...

Hi warscared! I'll be honest, you're right about status. You're also definitely right about women who come from money not caring much about money(but that goes for both men and women so I don't get why you're singling us out). So I can't really argue against those lol. But what I can argue against, is you saying that Bella doesn't have status. I'll get to the point and say that family name is important for the upper class. The entire reason her family name got mentioned was because of the status behind it. This was proven when Stefan Holgerson went on about the MC's family name. The whole "I don't know any Cyrus" is because MC has no status amongst the wealthy. He is a nobody. Bella would not have gotten invited to the gala had she not possessed some level of status. Bella has the MC beat in both wealth and status. I don't think she'd need him for either...

Well that's about all I can argue with lol. Despite your colorful way of saying it, you're right about a lot of that(at least the part of your post that I am replying to). Although I will say that a person's status can be taken away at any time beyond the control of the person who wields it. Titles and positions do not last forever. There's also much more that you can do with wealth as opposed to status. Status can only take you so far. Oh and by the way, I've yet to meet a wealthy man or woman without some level of status to go along with that. My grandfather is on Forbes list, and trust me when I say that he is of very high status.

so you agree with me that the MC status could easily become an issue if Amber tries to prep him up and he fails!
if he succeeds that will not be an issue Amber needs Bella to be alright once again money and his pedigree is secondary if worst comes to worst the MC will take her family name (quite more usual then what most people think when the wife is of higher breed then the groom)!

As for men not caring about money they never did and the few that do its because they lack it or when forming their personality went trough a phase without it that somehow traumatized them!

even those born poor that come into wealth very rarely take a woman´s personal wealth into consideration! they will look for family standing beauty age and her values/religious disposition before they look at money! but that`s the purpose of complementary sexual roles in a relationship her beauty and age define fertility while her family standing and values/religious disposition define the type of education of the child/ren!

as for status i guess it will come down to the culture of the place and how dense a society is! i come from a low density place so everyone knows each other and each family´s quirks are "well known"!

i currently live in a high density city and somehow its awkward i do not know a member of every family in my new home and i need to move to specific places to be with different friends! before i had like 7 places and i always knew people today if i do not book with my friends in advance i can go to places and not know anyone so how tight the social networks and how wide they are influence your status greatly! (been fixing that by getting to know the owners and employees of the places i like to go to but even then you know more people but less well)!

in a small place you always know someone to take care of stuff but in big places you have better specialist and professionals but its harder to find them and develop a reputation and even when you you only get it in their small circles that does not represent the entire community!

in my original place status meant how well you are liked because everyone knows who you are who is your father and grandfather and you always have family ties somewhere down the line, in cities it works differently but i am learning!

so if everyone knows you and respects you money counts for little, if you want to start a business family friends and banks will support you i imagine that in a city you are more dependent on official institutions instead of loosely connected web of friends and family! but the loosely connected web works better... but they can not come up with the amount of resources of a densely populated place, but what good are those higher amounts of resources if you can not access them?

on our particular situation Bella is damaged goods and Amber is trying to fix her and if the MC is tool to do it as long as he works she will do what must be done including paying him for really expensive clothes and provide him with expensive treatments and as for his status he only needs to be good enough in whatever he does to earn respect since the man who conquers a kingdom is always better then the one that inherits it!

but that`s not my issue i am for Sasha all the way and Bella is just Bella!

I hate MC behavior at the beginning of the game. He's a total asshole..
But I understand that it has its reasons, but it still bothers me. It's good that he changes a bit when the game goes on.

Honestly it depends on how people interpret the word "asshole". Cause to me the MC's not an asshole, He's just someone who gone through some deep emotional shit that he manages to develop a defense mechanism/facade on trying not to give a damn/care about anyone. You also play BaDIK right? I think the MC in BaDIK is much more of an asshole in nature against SG's MC, but that's just my opinion. I love both games and both of them are in my AVN's top 3 of all time.

Just wait for Summer to come back, I can feel it coming. It would be an emotional trainwreck, and would really cap this one as one of the best AVNs in history, if the dev pulls it off right.
