I liked that Ocean uses ambient occlusion in Photoshop to give depth to the lighting. At least those small micro-shadows from the nose, lips, cheekbones are AO, which is not in Daz, but is in Photoshop. This is certainly not a Substance Painter, but there is no point in creating such complex textures for the game. Probably after Ocean switches to a blender, he will not have to manually create AO in Photoshop.

I don't use AO.

It's just the way I light things in Daz.

Lighting in Daz is an artform to itself. Difficult and annoying sometimes, but can look great. As a former photographer, learning about and getting the lighting right is what has caused my attempt at an AVN from "releasing late 2022" to "might be out in 2024"

The lighting in your games lends so much realism. It is one of the "gold standards" from my point of view.

Edit: And it also affects the dialogue in the ch4.5 at Vic's, when they were discussing fetishes. Nami confess that she likes facesitting and MC recalls that she sat on his face when she discovered that MC had stolen money from Mario.

I'm glad Ocean made possible a path with Nami&Bella... Little disappointed there is no path Amber&Bella. Those two were the best combo. If both survive it...

Cycles-x (one of the rendering engines in Blender) uses raytracing, like Iray. With a few tweaks the lighting, and results, is very high end.

Seriously though, Ocean has a talent, that is amazing. Looking at WIAB remake, i've never seen better animations in a VN.

First time reading... I am reallllly looking forward to the rework. Bella's Mom just drove the MC home, and now he's at the gym... the difference in render and writing quality is HUGE. You can actually see the canyon-sized quality improvement between the previous chapter and this one. It is shocking how much better it looks and reads. Bravo.

And it's last rework. After next release there should be no more reworking, only new content. Could bring us about two months minimum less development time. His other game had refresh too. And, yes, Amber is after refresh so much hotter.

i didnt´t know that Nami face sitting was a effect from MC elections... That´s cool. I suposse in the future we will can see more about this.
