I agree with you on almost everything except Ocean's effectiveness. There will be 32 chapters in SG, 5 of which are already ready. (32-5=27) There are 27 chapters left to do. Now his chapter release rate is half a chapter per year or a chapter every 2 years. (27*2=54) As a result, it turns out that at the current rate, the SG will be completed in 54 years. I wonder if Ocean or his fans will live to see the release of SG? In any case, Ocean will not be able to make 2 games at the same time. Either he will throw all his strength into one game and after 27 years he will probably achieve success, or there will be 2 failures.

Yes, I've been a member long enough to know that slow update cycles are the main reason people complain so much and that's true for SG, WIAB and most games on here. Don't you think more frequent updates would make fans happier, because I'm sure as hell they would.And even if he never had the other game and fanbase in the first place, so he wouldn't have to abandon one of the games to have a single game to develop, he'd still have one game with one "unhappy fanbase"
You've been a member of F95 long enough to know that what we have right now is one of the happiest kind of fanbase around here, compared to any other game thread, that there is no such thing as a perfectly happy fanbase around here, anywhere, and no realistic way to please any F95 fanbase to make them all happy with the game and its development.
Dropping either SG or WIAB is most likely not an option at this point, but to say focusing on one game instead of two would not make a difference is a bit delusional in my opinion.
And as long as people support the practice of 'buying' these games piecemeal through 'patron' site paywalls you'll just have to accept that this is something that will never change.
Patreon and SubscribeStar provide a way for potential supporters to help fund the development of AVNs and other projects that would be unlikely to see the light of day without that support (or at least be created at the level of fidelity that support allows).
There are very few 'hobbyists' with sufficient money, time and expertise to create great AVNs with rapid update cycles including significant content with every update cycle.
I can't actually name one, let alone dozens, who treats AVN creation the way I describe above and produce at the quality level of Ocean, including renders, animations and music SOMEONE has to pay for.
Ocean treats this like it is his job and Patreon/SS provide the means for supporters who believe in his vision to provide, in aggregate, enough $ so he can continue to create as a full-time endeavor.
For those who object to the Patreon/SS system - why not show their disdain for it and only go post on threads where the creator is not using either Patreon or SubscribeStar to help support their creative works?
That would be one way to show those cretins - I mean - supporters of Patreon and SubscribeStar, right?

Why anyone would want to 'beat their meat' to an AVN is literally beyond my comprehension....beyond it. I grew out of that when I was 12 when my mothers clothing catalogues got boring...
With the hundreds of thousands of GB of free porn on the net...static 3D images or crappy 3 frame animated loops are your pref (after downloading 4gb of data first)...

Hello,
So, I finished moving & didn't have internet for a few days until I worked out a fix. I'm currently surfing on 1/12 of my actual internet speed, but my Fibre connection stopped working, I managed to activate the LAN thingy instead.
I had anticipated that I had a lot more time until I needed to move everything to the new place, but they already found people who'd take my old place and I was forced to move everything in just 3-4 days.
I think I have adjusted to the new place now, and now with an actual office instead of having my PCs that resemble a tornado in the living room. Now I can deduct it as a business expense too.
WiAB will be released in the upcoming days with almost 2000 renders and a few animations. It's definitely worth checking for some general SG/WiAB lore.
I'm closing in on 800 renders for the CH2 rework, but I won't finish the full before January. I'll visit my family from the 24th to the 28th and will translate SG into German during that time. (For Steam)
I did around 60 more images for Season 2, but there's no way I can show you them.
It's the same with the CH5 full renders, I don't want to show the new scenes in CH2, but I still have one small preview.
I was chatting with a friend the other day and he mentioned Victoria... Which sparked some inspiration for the first little Victoria Treat.
Whenever I feel the inspiration, I have to act quickly before it's gone and I end up with eight images.
Three are for the Ethereal Glows and Aurora boys. Images I wouldn't have created under normal circumstances and just made to thank them a little extra.
One of the five images is in a different aspect ratio. (Perfect for a phone.)

A big change to Chapter 2 is that besides adding a few new scenes, I expanded the ones we already had.

In the new CH2, the scene is a little longer with some additional info.
The biggest expanding scene is probably the heist, which tripled in size.
WiAB's out soon, then I'll be gone for a few days over Christmas and then I'll finish Season 1 of SG.

Yea i think in the beginning she was more than just goofy, IIRC she had like the mental capacity of a child, i think Ocean toned it down when he redid all the chapters so she isn't as bad, but still feels weird to romance...
I see some devs very rarely, but sometimes put characters like that in game and i really wish they didn't... NLT Media had one character like that in one of his games and in that game you couldnt avoid romancing her so it was super awkward..
