What is on steam is what Ocean tried to get rated for "Ocassional Nudity". Steam kept requiring him to cut more and more scenes, until he gave up and settled for "Frequent Nudity", and will now return what he can that doesn't put it into 18+. I think it was a case off trying to get the percentage down, and cutting the renders that he felt were less important to the story. Some of Nami's earlier renders show her vulnerability, or cringe factor, while the lake scene nudity doesn't really cahnge the fact she's straddling him either way.
Basically nothing with below waist from the front will be returned. I haven't gotten past Nick's dinner at my playthrough yet, so I haven't seen what happens at the movie/pizza night...
I'm surprised at the full frontal treats, but because they're DLC sold separately I imagine that gets around any licensing issues.
- Ch5 Beta doesn't have the completed Ch2 and Ch3 reworks, so there are quite a few continuity errors and very old renders that are painfully lower quality in the beta. Ch 5 full/Steam has all the rework complete with only bug/oversight issues, but it's the completed chapters 1-5 (+2150 new renders for Ch2,3 and 4)
- it requires a restart to see all the new renders.
- any lewds steam considered 18+ got cut, which is penis, vagina or sexual activity.
- Ocean tried to reduce the lewd content enough to meet steams requirements but it didn't succeed, so he will return some of the non 18+ lewds seeing he didn't manage to get the rating he'd hoped for probably in a patch.
People are mad because of the lewd content being cut basically, and that steam released before patreon. THe other things they're mad about they're always mad about (release cycle slow burn).
For those who downloaded Summers Gone Season 1 and are playing from the beginning, you are in for Not just a visual treat... you get some Awesome humor...

Guys can someone tell me is there any difference between season 1 download and ch 5 beta download ?

I delete everything(game folder, appdata renpy files) and start newly steam release. I am playing on w11 and how can i share traceback log.I did not encounter this problem, but I play SG (CH 5 B) on an external HD while I play Steam on my desktop.
Did you delete your Renpy save files for Summers gone?
Did you download CH 5 B and try playing that from the end of your CH 4.5 saves?
Are you playing on PC, MAC or Android?
If you can reply with more information and any traceback log, if available, someone may be able to give you more specific ideas to help than what I provided above.

When these project(s) were started it was, I suspect, to try to make some extra money with a porn story. The person or people who started it certainly had fun telling a story, but above all they had fun creating 3D graphics with a sexual background. Over time, the economic aspect has become more and more important. What was (probably) a part-time job at the beginning has become a full-time job.
OceanLab still wants to make good quality erotic pictures and tell an interesting, slowly building story but above all he wants/needs to make money with it. His supporters on Patreon have/wanted to pay him monthly contributions for years.
Then the idea for Steam came! It was announced relatively early on that a Steam release would reach a larger audience and of course make more money. No secret was made of this.
Now the thing is, a company that sells software will not only sell this product once, but many times and will also sell the software to customers twice as an update. That's how it is and no one is bothered by it.
Here the situation is a little different. The supporters on Patreon have also been paying for years for something I call profit optimization, others here call it milking. For me, they paid so that OceanLab had time to perfect its product and then sell it on Steam without getting the corresponding value in return. Of course his supporters also got the publications, but capitalism still has nothing to do with morality.
But before you complain about Ocenlab, one thing should be considered beforehand. OceanLab announced its plan early and it is my duty and my right as a Patreon member to respond accordingly with the amount of my contributions. That's called personal responsibility!
To make it clear again, in my opinion his supporters have a reason to complain that they did not receive the appropriate value for their contributions. If they've come to terms with it, who am I to judge them?

About the holgerson gala
With the new information that Zoey will be around during the holgerson gala and having a good relationship with Bella ..
Do you guys think Zoey will approach Nika? Katie obviously knows about him so Zoey probably does too?
Would lead to another surprise pikachu face for Bella, first Elsa, now Zoey.
I kinda like these interactions.
The opposite are interactions with Ayua or Sasha who always make me feel like they know more about Nika than he does himself (these are fun too tho).

i was supporting a developer a while back and for a year and i got tired of him making excuses about he had another job and he didn't have time due to his family this and that then to being sick in the hospital so i said to myself if this developer has all these problems going on in his life why take our money and delay the next update why can't he put a hold on our payments so i stopped supporting him i felt cheated. and this has been happening to many developers with their excuses, time is money my money means something to me but more important my time i refuse to waste it on a developer that just cares about money not his fans.Why is this nonsense? This is the custom on Patreon; everyone who makes reworks is called milkmaids. People on Patreon have already encountered developers who constantly postpone the release of new chapters due to reworks. Such dishonest developers only took money, but did not develop their games, so they began to be called milkmen. Doesn't remind you of anything? Ocean's plot has been stagnant without development for several years now, so people stop believing him. They have every right to do so.

We don't know if Katie and Zoey are still together. Stefan's wife is a recluse in the game, but we don't know any of their family's dynamics - I assumed the 'paper business was a newspaper - maybe the Holgersons own the media company Nicole works for now? I know these are tangents, just throwing it out there. Back to Katie, we don't know if she decided to stay with Zoey, or find someone to settle down and have a family with. Sash'a redhaired friend could even be Katie's. If they are together, I'll assume Bella will get Nika to the Gala, Zoey might spill secrets that Katie keeps close, so it is interesting. ANd the snake survived in WOllust by the looks of it, which means Willi at least goes back to get Gefritzel of Daphnee, so maybe she's also in Wollust, unless her married name became Cyrus... Sorry for being all over with the theories, haven't finished the new playthrough and absorbed it all yet.
Edit: and yes the new interactions are both intruiguing and quite revealing ...and they support pretty much every suspicion available because they still give nothing away
