I feel Robin has a interesting backstory that hasn't been shown. Minus the Bella and the go alone gym scenes. She inquires about the joining the apartment sharing with Mila Nami and Nika she ask during Milas gym scene and the Nami gym scene.

Seeing I've been challenged, I'll accept. I think Robin's charm is her lack of confidence. In the bookclub, she's pretty sure of herself (her appearance later, did she come from her room, is that Charlie's house? I'm thinking it's either than or the Petrova's place. It's ridiculously overkill setting for a bookclub... Noji clearly doesn't feel inimidated by everyone's apparent wealth... Anyway, off track), but maybe that due to being in familiar surroundings. At the college, she's polite, but she doesn't put herself forward. My guess is the gym sequence was for Sasha's benefit, and Robin got to ask her own questions as well. When people think of her poorly, she freaks out, so I kinda feel she has a low self esteem.

I think the attraction is we want to protect her. She gets bullied by Zara and Nadja into decietful acts, she gets harrassed with rumours for caring that Nika almost had a melt down, and she tries to make up for her mistakes, without expecting a free pass.

Also, she has more normal proportions, she doesn't always look like she stepped out of a magazine, when she's at the gym, she looks ready to put in the work. So I think it's also she seems a little less pretentious than some of the others - not always trying to make herself look the best.

And we probably want to rescue her from Bowser ...I mean Charlie

Maybe it's just me, but Robin sometimes gives the impression of a 14-16 year old girl. She's childish, clumsy and also innocent like a child. Like I said, she's similar to Nami and Nia in that sense, but their explicit sexual antics always remind us that they're adults. Robin doesn't have that inappropriate behavior.

People seriously underestimate Robin due to her unassuming behavior. She's nowhere near as childish and innocent as they make her out to be, she just keeps her cards close to her chest out of fear (has learned to see wollust as a dangerous place full of power players) and refrains a lot from speaking her mind, but knows more than she lets on. She's not clumsy either, more like a little awkward and insecure, which is endearing. Language barrier at work?

For.me the reason that Robin is so endearing is that she is a rather normal girl where almost everyone else has some pointed trait. Nami is quirk, Sacha is mysterious, Bella is a bich, Zara is competetive Nia is a camgirl with lack of social queues, and not only her personalitie is normal her looks also are, in a town where sizes as Milla and Vic are not uncommon her features are diferencial. In short in a place where almost everyone is fucked up in the head and a super model Robin is refreshment of normality

This would make sense if he was making a dating sim game, but he's not. Each woman in the game has her own role in the entire story, and Marla was there literally from the first minute. She seems to have some kind of important role, so I think he won't drop her character just to cater a few simps.
And, frankly, have you seen the previews from the latest devlog? A hot MILF teacher won't hurt any lewd VN.
As for the simps, who cares about them. One fairly famous developer put an old stripper hag in their game and added more lewds for her than for much better side girls. Simps will suck it up anyway

You shouldn't really try to act as the voice of many when you have no signed mandate to do so. People have different and sometimes weird tastes that you won't be able to understand even if you tried. You have your own, so talk for yourself.

I'd personally prefer Robin or Maja or Ayua and I will definitely stay away from Marla, but I know that there are people who prefer her as a LI and I'm not the one to dismiss these people just for having different preferences of women.

To be honest, I don't remember if Maya was ever intended to be LI, but here's what Deleted Member wrote a year ago when he finished the script.

There is no "Marla over Maja", in the same way as there is no "Bella over Maja."

Maja's role in the game just isn't the one of an LI. (She's lewdable, but doesn't get a happily ever after ending with the MC.)
The MC isn't a blank hull that is compatible with every character beyond a fling/FWB.

And the most important variable is Victoria.
Maja would ALWAYS choose Victoria over the MC.

And it doesn't matter if the player likes Victoria or not.
Victoria likes the MC, and Victoria's feelings and well-being are what's important to Maja.


Marla's role doesn't come from being stunning on the outside. She isn't a classy porn trope "Milf."
She's what you'd find under the category "Mature".

And more important, looking good doesn't make you an LI.
The story behind the person determines if you get to be one.

But this WILL actually work for the most people. Even the range of officially recognized LIs is much wider than in most very good story games. If each of them gets the same amount of screen time as Bella and Nami, then those who don't like any of the official LIs will be the black sheep.

If you like milfs - here's Amber and Marla, you like redheads - Nami and Nia, huge boobs - Mila, Vic and Nadia, aggressive girls - Bella and Zara, a little nerdy - Nadia and Sonya, evil bitches - Bella and Vanessa, quirky - Nami, Nia and Vic to some extent... You can go on and on, you have to be uniquely picky to not find a girl to your liking with such a rich choice.

Well, there will always be guys who are longing for Karen Rebecca Johnson, despite all the possible options.
