Can't agree with this, I think something happened that separated them and he doesn't know if she's alive or not, or he knows she's alive but doesn't know where she is. Otherwise, all this fuss around her doesn't make any sense. Why does he constantly complain that he didn't get closure and this is tormenting him?I think Nika knows what happened to Summer, asking her parents or Elsa would probably been the first thing he did back than otherwise. He interrupted Elsa in the restaurant too as she intended to talk about it.
Its one of these cases where the mc knows more about certain things compared to us as the readers (which always annoys me a bit).
I kinda would like Summer to come back, but explaing all this in a reasonable way is kinda hard, it would make the most sense if Summer is simply dead. But i think she probably isnt.
What does he want to find out from Emilio if he knows what happened to her? Why do you think her family told him anything, considering that his memories show that they considered him trash and unworthy of their daughter?
Maybe he stopped Elsa because he didn't want to discuss some ugly scene with her family from the past? For example, when he tried to find out the truth from them and was blamed for what happened and thrown out.
Basically, so far there is only fog around and little specifics, so you can come up with anything.
- Summer was kidnapped and since then there is no new information about her.
- She received a serious trauma and her family hide her somewhere and refuse to say to the MC where she is. She lost her memory and did not try to contact the MC.
- Her death was staged, and she is hiding somewhere undercover the witness protection program.
- She fall through the time in the past, lived until the present moment and is now known as Stephanie Marla. At the same time, she ran into her younger self, known as Sasha Petrova. She is trying to stop her younger self, because otherwise the MC will die.
