You're talking about Summers gone? If so, you seem to lack empathy about trauma. Sex will be here but for now, it's secondary. I'm not that good at english as you can see but you wrote "this games" and not "this game" or "these games" so pardon me if i'm confused.

On the game itself, i've now finished the Saison 1, even read 3 "routes" (nami/bella and mila). The following will contain spoilers. Tbh i like what i've read but it's not without problems. I've the feeling that things happen really quickly. I mean how many time spend in the game after the begining of the university? One or two week? And on one day only, the MC go to the lake until the evening, spend time with his new "family", make some tennis, train with the basketball team, return to jacuzzi AND go somewhere else to talk, re-eat, go to walk twice (one for pizza), watch two movie and finaly sleep!
How did they find the time to do that in one evening is unbelievable.

I liked how the chemistry between the MC and bella worked. They all have this freespirit/leader mindset where each one wanna do what they wanted but they now need to compromise with each other. I think nami and her are too central in the game but if that's what the creator wanted, i will follow the gaze : ) . I mean, these 2 take so much time on screen that i don't really know what are the real possible main girl beside them. Probablt victoria and mila, but i dunno for the rest.
I'm okay with that since i'm team nami .Sad to see that she is only 'roomate" now, which make no sense to me (except the steam/patreon/whatever rules). I wish we could stay with what i've read these years before (i've finished chapter 3 years before and i'm returning here now), meaning nami being the MC's brother. I also find it sad that nami has to suppressed her feeling for the MC but i understand too well the feeling. That one of the thing i loved about her route. I'm curious to see how other characters will react on the route where they will be together (would be better if she was still a sister for that).

I'm also curious to see if a harem path is possible or if some polyamories are planned. I mean i'm not really into that, but i'm curious. Considering Nami personality (who nearly kiss a girl in the jacuzzi ), i would like to avoid it if possible in my main route. I also find it believable that someone like bella would do some threesome, considering her strong libido, but ican't see her loving multiple person at the same time. If i have to guess, the roleplay game could be a door for stuff like that.

All in all it's a great game with great render, slow in devellopment but maybe it's the price to pay for the quality. it lack emotionnal drama but i've a feeling that we will get there (especialy on the bella route with poor nami who will need to accept that she isn't the chosen one )

I'll just reply to this part because I haven't had enough coffee for much thinking. No harem is planned. Ocean's stated in the past that he hates harem logic in games. I think he wishes to focus on developing trust as part of healing, which means that rejecting other LI's is important to building relationships. In a similar way the polyamories that ARE plannned are meant to he hard to achieve and easy to fail, because people do get jealous if there is any sense of unequal affection in a triangle. By going this way, Ocean avoids harem logic by pointing out how hard it truly is to keep a harem.

This is mostly my conjecture from things Ocean has said over the last two years, so he could have a different mindset now, who knows? BUt there is a link on the first page of the thread that details who the LI's were that Ocean revealed, again with the caveat that Ocean might just mess with us. In some ways it's best not to know, because we'll treat characters like game to hunt rather than acknowledge their stroy in detail, simply because we know they're a LI and we know there's a payoff if we follow the porn logic. My guess is that Ocean partially regrets giving out some of that information, as people don't play the game with surprise. At least the planned complexity of the throuples will mean people will find it challenging, walkthrough or not - just look at how hard it was to get WiaB's first NTR styl scene. Even with a community of people telling others, people still find is hidden. So throuples will only be the case for people who made the right choices early on without really knowing.

Season 2 - Chapter 1 - Dev Log #16
Hello,

So, work has been quite fantastic lately. I’m currently trying out some new systems to see if I can increase productivity while reducing the mental load.

Trying out new stuff and documenting it has something chilling to it.

I’ve also ordered something to tackle one of the new features, the sound design. I’ll get into it when I have something to show and explain the workflow a little and how it would feel in-game.

But I think it’s going to improve the immersion a lot.

However, first I will need to build a small library of samples and see how out of the box-useable they are.

But more about this when I’ve got some examples to show.

I’ve done some extensive work on some specific body-parts of some of the girls… I will pick this part back up when we get a lil deeper into the pants of some particular girls.

I’ll then show you some before and after. It has something to do with textures.

What makes no sense is sex without meaning unless it's a porn game. Well, here comes the news: It's not a porn game. Summer's Gone is a story-focused game with adult elements. These are not my words, these are the developer's notes on the first page. Of course, you may not believe his words, but do not be surprised if your expectations are not met.

Of course, I'm not going to state that people can't have casual sex, that lusty milfs and horny teens don't exist, that college freshmen aren't prone to experimenting with different partners in this matter.

But does this mean that all this must necessarily be present in any story and necessarily at its beginning? 32 chapters, remember? The plot in the game has certain initial conditions and develops according to a certain scenario. Now look at the MC again.

1) MC, even he was still a teenager, was deeply in love with the only girl, Summer and others did not interest him. It said in the very first animation, with which the game began. Many consider this stupid, many criticize this moment. Well, it's their business, but in the Ocean's story, the MC is exactly like this. Those who do not like it can write their own story with their own MC.

2) The loss of Summer was a huge shock for the MC. We don't know the circumstances, we don't know if she's alive or dead, we don't know what happened to the MC himself ("the violent incident.") We only know the aftermath, it affected MC so much that he spent the last few years as a recluse, isolating himself from everyone except a couple of his closest people, and either as a result of this life, or because of the incident itself, or maybe because of all of it, he developed something like a severe phobia. Even though he wants to socialize and interact with people again, it causes him random intense panic attacks.

3) Another trouble for him is a temporary erectile dysfunction, and it's also not even clear whether it happened as a result of the incident with Summer, or whether he was always like this, but he himself said that the girl should be important to him, he should have feelings for her in order to want being intimate with her. Again, a lot of people make fun of the MC because of this, mock him, get mad about it. Either way, you can't ignore this problem, it's part of the Ocean's plot. And to think that the MC shouldn't have to deal with this problem first before he can be intimate with girls is to have the wrong expectations for the game. The good news is that the problem is most likely not physical, but psychological, so Amber to the rescue. :BootyTime:

I think it's obvious that a guy like that wouldn't rush to get into bed with even a girl he really likes, let alone some casual hookups. (Although I think Nami's idea of just do it with Nia to train the wormy isn't that bad. :BootyTime:)

So, the only girl who made him hard after Summer was Nami, which isn't surprising at all considering their past together, that they are comfortable with each other and that she is very patient and caring with him, despite the fact that she constantly teases him.

Given all of these circumstances, it seems obvious that by now, MC suddenly having sex would just be unnatural. The closest he gets to sex is with Bella on her route. But he's still having panic attacks, and he's still too anxious and afraid of failure and disappointing her (his conversation with Nami before Bella's date, his thoughts while he was sleeping with her) that he puts off trying until he can work it out in therapy with Amber. :BootyTime:

On the other hand, he has a physical reaction to being close with Nami, but their relationship is so complicated and drags along such a bunch of old problems and secrets. Nami, despite her easygoing behavior, is such a bag of insecurities that only by the end of the fifth chapter the MC has to take the initiative and make the first move in their relationship.

And this happens naturally, because before that there were just teasing and flirting on her part without any real meaning and rejection from his side. But the events of the first week of college, and the speed with which their lives are changing made them both rethink a lot, including their relationship.

Nami realized that he is changing, he will not sit in his den forever, that some nasty blonde can steal him from her. And most importantly, there is a connection between them that they both tried not to notice, but the recent events and sincere conversations between them exposed it.

The same thing happens to him, he realizes that his perception of Nami has changed, that she is not just a caring "roomie", but something more, this is unexpected and frightening for him, but he, as usual, decides to cut to the chase and makes a move in the end of chapter 5.

As for the other girls, he didn't even go as far in the relationship with them as with these two to talk about sex. Foursome kisses don't count :)

She and Sasha know each other and (from early imagery) seem like friends, but this is hard to know with Sasha since she is very closed about her relationships (aside from being close to Robin and being trained by/competing with Ayua).

We know that Sasha has one or more bodyguards (remember her Aunt from the book club scene).

It may be that this woman is also one of those bodyguards to help protect Sasha when she is away from home.

She seems to be around the MC more than others (or at least she stands out, IMO) and she found/followed the MC when he went into a classroom because he felt a panic attack coming on.

So - she is still a mystery but, IMO, she is keeping Sasha (and perhaps others) in the loop about what she sees and hears regarding the MC.

She could be Sasha's cousin or some distant relative, I see some visual similarities between them.

Been a while since I caught up on this because things always seem to be a beta or a .5 or something... but, this is connected to WiAB? Pretty sure that was Katie Katie (just looking less hot than usual), they mentioned Leia too. I never realised it was supposed to be a one universe thing. Hopefully that doesn't get too restrictive with forcing certain paths somewhere so that it'll make sense somewhere else like happened with some of the Blackheart stuff.

Kinda shame some stuff is toned down nowadays, even with the uncut patch. I remember trying to shoot the teacher after the accident really sold me on the game initially. I liked the darker tone it used to feel like it was going for.

I enjoyed the milf club as a new thing, kinda interesting seeing the MC get amongst it. Finally got a bit more interaction with Sasha, who somehow is still my favourite.

Might have to revise my top ten in this...

1) Sasha, though I don't have much hope of action there.
2) Amber, likewise unlikely.
3) Bella, obvious but available.
4) Adrianna, surprise new entry.
5) Nia, piercings are hot.
6) Vanessa, she feels like danger I liked how she was mesmerising Nami, speaking of which.
7) Nami, only really makes it this far up thanks to wincest and her being ride or die.
8) Coach Hill, I think maybe because she's a reused face from other stuff so I have a pre-existing interest in her.
9) Emilia, love a porn whore.
10) Too hard with just one last slot... Claire the remaining Von Halen? That hot girl in the hat from the handcuff scene? Jenna just for clearly wanting it bad? Crazy cop because I clearly have issues? I guess S2 will have to decide in 5 years.
