Let's reminisce about some past things now
I think Sasha was almost kidnapped like Summer, but she escaped, and that's how she got the scar. That could be why she's so aware of her surroundings and vigilant. She trains a lot in martial arts, is prone to anxiety and panic attacks (remember she gives Nika a sertraline pill at book club), is taken everywhere by her bodyguard, who is supposedly always around. So, in a way, they share this connection.
Also, Sasha has that earring to match Nami's, given to her by Leia Zane, who wore them in Where It All Began. So, there's something there, even if the characters aren't aware of it yet. Some past connection could create a mysterious chemistry between the people. Maybe they met when they were kids? Maybe they are the same person
