Ultimately, even with these complaints, I feel that this game has very high quality, a very consistant group of developers who appear to be adept at avoiding the dreaded burnout, keep fairly faithful to their timelines, and at least offer explanations for delays.

I doubt you'd get any arguments about the high quality, at least compared to most other patreon projects.
If the game was shit there wouldn't be that many people here complaining about a lack of progress and slow updates because nobody would give a damn.

Not sure why, multi-quote never works for me. I use the quote button a few times, but when I hit reply, I lose everything I hit the Quote button on.

They obviously meant 10 minutes of new game play since they specifically mentioned this update and the 4 months it took to release.
Whether that's correct I don't know as I haven't tried the update yet.

I'm a couple hours into playing, and haven't even had sex with the aunt yet. It seems like people just want to see new H-scenes. Given that this is an adult game, I think that they have the wrong expectations. Watch porn if you just want to see sex scenes.

Are all other Renpy games the same as this, in regards to:
a) Having a dev that effed up the programming from the get go, and
b) Getting patrons to vote if they want the save feature fixed or not?

I think it's dumb they just don't force the issue and do an update to fix everything, but they're just doing what their shareholders are asking them to do.

For someone who gets over $30,000 a month and numerous people to help, it shouldn't take this long for updates, and it shouldn't be so damn buggy either.

Not complaining, because I like the game, I'm just telling it like it is

The biggest problem is that the art takes so much time. You can hire all the programmers in the world, they won't get the game out faster if the art isn't there to implement. DC has tried to find an artist that he feels matches his work, but hasn't been successful. He might never find someone that fits, the game is his baby after all.

And it started so nice, one of the best out there, could've turned into a brilliant game.

Ok this is what happened to me,i replayed from the beginning saved twice for the different erik routes exited the game to take a break came back hit load and the game took me back several days before to a monday at night in the living room I tried the other save with the other route same thing took me back several days to a monday at night.I tried several times same results i dont even know if i should grind again if the saves and load arent working.

We all know that the Debbie pregnancy option is going to win, sighs... The fact that Eve won one of the polls is shocking granted nearly everyone always votes for the "family options"... DC needs to remove some of the family options on a few future polls and show some other characters some love. Hell, honestly some of the best content in the game is from other characters. Just my two cents...

Well, pregnancy concent is not going to be the focus of those updates and will probably not be much more than a bit of dialog, a few pregnant character sprites, the hospital scene etc.

Edit: Else I have to say that I'm pretty happy with those results so far. The main story is the only somewhat interesting and new option out of those...
