Those A.I. images are a good example of 'improving' something so much the end result is worse.

The art style or visual language, as in any good multimedia narrative, is a character in the story.

What is funny about this AI art discussion is that art is actually the only one thing that is not holding the tech update back,DC is actually ahead about it.
Is the coding and the posing that is making this tech update limbo.

That actually doesn't look bad, but a lot of the A.I games I've seen look really weird. But I can totally see them becoming really good in a couple of years. The A.I stuff is getting better really fast.

I'll guess for now we'll see an even clearer destinction between above average quality and stuff that's low effort. AI will indeed just flood that segment with even more of the same, while devs will have to make an effort to stick out - which honestly isn't a bad thing.
Those who get/got popular because their games feature really good and consistent art, will manage to succeed in the future, too, and it'll be good for those devs who until now had to rely on average/bad artists to make anything happen at all, because they can't produce art themselves. They'll have options, so we may get a few games which won't feature the best art, because of AI, but at least have a really good concept and good writing. Until now it was almost impossible to make them happen, because comissioning art for a whole game was/is such a massive hassle (it's basically impossible unless you keep it short and simple). These games may not take the top spots, but at least they may finally become economically viable in the first place.

A possible solution I would've loved exploring if I had another lifetime to spare is to use AI to generate reverse-scannable 3D models (kinda like those in pic below). You basically put in the work to generate via AI just a handful of high quality reasonably consistent images for every model. Then you put these images through a reverse-scanner that infers 3D models from 2D pictures. Then you fine-adjust the 3D models to get them in a final form and finally you start using them via classic 3D modelling/animation/rendering to create a game that looks perfectly consistent across shots. You even have the choice of going with a full 3D look (which would be very exciting in itself) or use techniques that make 3D renders look more like 2D images. You lose plenty of the 2D hand drawn feel but the gains are monumental.

The day AI makes an actual appealable Indie NSFW game with decent voice acting, animations and plot that makes at least a number of people; I fapped to that and it's actually passable content.

It's the day i be shaving my head and pay those 23$ to a bet i did with a bro when AI wasn't a big of a deal back in the day lol

I hope in the years left the bet still active that really doesn't happen xD and he end up paying the double of the wage. following by purchasing me any digital or psychical game of choice under 40$.

Wondering how the hell DC at this point is not releasing content since May wtf?!

Anyways :p it's funny this game haven't got an update for a while ago

if u pay attention to the patron its still being updated its just not fully developed if I'm not mistaken i believe there is something coming out on it at christmas possibly but i bought it so I would try and wait they do not want to keep tasing us with lil shit he wanna give us a big update and give us what we have been waiting for something in those words

You are mistaken. The developer has not said anything will be out at anytime. The tech update will be released when they are ready to release it. It could be two months, it could be two years, it could be two decades.

You bought it? It's free for everyone to play directly from the developer's website. There's nothing to buy. If you mean you are now a subscriber on Patreon - your subscription doesn't buy the game. Subscribers get wallpapers, access to servers, subscriber discord channel access and other benefits. The game is not one of the benefits because it is free for everyone.

but I agree in 1-2 years some AI games could even be better than SS, even animate some scenes and at that point DC should reconsider his plans for the future.
And actually AI porn is getting quickly better and just with few clicks you can get something similar without efforts.

the main story is interesting , but after this the mini storys are meh we need more content with the side characters
