Is it really official that she is now the gf? Hmmm nice... Maybe that is why she in the the logo. Can't really see mia being the gf (maybe just part of the plot, like being the first crush)

When I said official I meant that she and MC start acting like a full fledged couple: they kiss in public, walk to class together and Roxxy refers to him as "my man" or "my boyfriend"; as far as I know she is the only character that does all of this so right now she is the only actual girlfriend that MC can get, but it's possible that other characters will get the same treatment in the future even though it will be next to impossible to best Roxxy XD.

I'm hoping they can work through the world (events) inconsistency/open world-ness and this just isn't a limit from Renpy.

Oh, I didn't dislike despite not being the biggest Roxxy fan in the first place.

I saw quite a few "This is the best update ever!" posts. I just don't agree with that.

I'd guess that's because a) her mother doesn't really have her own story and is b) clearly a slut, so it does make sense in a way.

As soon as DC includes her into the poll and people actually vote for her. We'll likely get a new poll soon so if we are lucky (which I don't expect) she'll get her update early next year. The more likely outcome is for it to last longer though.

My guess is that the new poll result will arrive in the middle of next year, since 0.17 will likely arrive in October/November, and 0.18 will be on February/March, perhaps longer than the aforementioned month depending on how big DC wants to add on an update.

I'm a little more optimistic. I think DC will try to get 0.17 out on halloween and I'd expect 0.18 to be quite a bit faster since it's really only about Jenny who has a lot of story already. Diane's update is quite big because of the new pragnancy system and everything that's related to it (daycare etc.) but for Jenny there's not that much left except herself and the new dex training. So I can't really see a way how her update would be bigger than Diane's, let alone Roxxy's.

I'd actually hope that we'll get 0.18 for christmas or shortly after new year but who knows.

Yeah Jenny's storyline is big enough already, the only thing I can think of is the addition of Jenny/Mom threesome (come on, you know that's inevitable). Although maybe with the new Jenny update it will progress the Dad's story a little bit further.

But I really am excited for Diane's new update. I just hope DC also makes that Diane moving into the house storyline, especially with the potential of Mom/Diane threesome.

well,i'm just thinking you are a little too optimistic there,i dont doubt DC could deliver update 17 this year,but the 18 is kinda of a stretch there,there's always a possibility,but i like to hope for less,its a good way to evade surprises...

in Mia's store line you need to choice between mia and her mother
in erick story line you need to choice between 3some with mc and his mother. second between june and erick's mom

The decision trees make perfect sense for each character.

Mia: If you choose Mia (and I have no idea why you would, but that's just me), Helen continues her 'purification' with Sister Angelica and saves her marriage. If you choose to continue the purification yourself, that's the end of Helen and Harold's marriage, something that would naturally send Mia into a funk or depression for a long while and make her closed off. So it is believable that this is an either-or option.

Mrs Johnson: The choice is to help Erick be less dependent on his mother. If you get him a girlfriend, there's no longer any need for Mrs J to be sexually gratifying her son... and every reason for her to want to express her 'thanks' to MC. So, again, this makes sense from a character perspective.

Roxxy: All four of the women in this update are ho-bags at heart, and there's no pre-existing sexual relationship between any of them to disrupt with a choice of one or the other, so it makes sense that they're all 'available' simultaneously. Remember, that while it seems Roxxy has genuine affection for MC by the end of the update, she only starts down that path after MC tells her he has a job and could theoretically buy his 'girlfriend' clothes and stuff.

I understand the desire to slick your willy with every female in the game, but imo what separates Summertime Saga from the glut of fuck machine games is that there is character development and (somewhat!) plausible story arcs.

I'm not really sure about the Jenny/Debbie threesome since DC was against it some time ago because it would be too much work to make it fit to both of their stories. But maybe he changed his mind along the way.

I think all of that is pretty much confirmed. I think he even mentioned Mom/Diane threesome on stream a few days ago.

I think that's because we are used to very big updates now which need a lot of time and cover a lot of content. But Diane and Jenny already had 1,5 updates each before 0.17/0.18 and there aren't any other characters related to the update as far as I see it (except of Debbie maybe). Especially for Jenny I don't really see why it should take that much time.

But who knows. The updates always scale to the content that's included and if he wants to make Jenny's story big or include scenes with other characters it may of course last a lot longer.

Considering there's already dialogue between Mom and Aunt Diane that expressly states they've had a threesome together in the past, I would say that them tagging up on MC is indeed inevitable. (Edit to add: And also considering the both of them practically give MC simultaneous handies at the dinner table, they've already almost accidentally triggered that!) And I also agree it makes sense to keep Mom and Sister paths separate.

But I will be very bummed out if this game becomes nothing but an exercise in a pregnancy fetish. I would like more options for finishing outside, as it were. Right now, unless I'm missing a few, there are only three facial options in the game (Cassie, at the pool; Mom in the shower; Miss Ross beejay). That seems like a miss. This is porn, afterall.

there you need to find the next line and change it to True
