Just Another Bubble. SuperWriter's game that initially introduced Valentine and Camilla as characters. If I remember correctly, "Hunger for Chaos" became "Just Another Bubble" for a while and then reverted back to "Hunger for Chaos", so those two characters were used in this one. I'm not 100% sure, but it was something like that.

Lol You're actually right on that. Good memory. I didn't know what direction to go with for Hunger for Chaos, so now it is on hold indefinitely.

Real nice update. Really like that all the girls are getting to know each other more.
The only thing I hate is the MC - going to have to abandon this story - I just cannot empathize with the MC

I can't speak for BGRW2020 but there are a few things that make it a bit hard to empathize with the MC. But that doesn't bother me too much, I want to follow the story, I don't need to empathize with the MC on that level.
First, he has a bad habit of keeping secrets or outright lying to his girls.
Second, I don't always follow his reasoning why he does some things, e.g. stopping taking the serum from Cam/Val, and then lying about it, it has something to do with protecting the girls, but why that helps is a bit unclear. Or accepting the cloud-with-eyes-thingy, it doesn't seem like MC understands what it is he accepts either, mostly seems like something that can give him power without understanding the costs.
Third, MC seem a bit too emotionless at times.

1) MC has a habit of keeping secrets. He does, but because he wants to be the hero and protect the girls from everything. Maybe it might be better in some cases if he did tell them, but he has already lost his parents, so it has given him a complex of trying to save everyone and not worry them. He takes on all the problems by himself. Everybody has flaws and that certainly is a flaw for him.
2) Why does he lie about taking the serum? It's explained in the story. He was bit by the Beast, and that has increased his need for blood as a vampire, so in his mind, that can only mean he is more like the Beast and he scared of turning into that, even though it makes him physically weaker. BUT now that the Breast is back, he's willing to risk that to protect the girls. Especially because he doesn't know if his parents were targeted or if the Beast will come after the girls next.
3) He's emotionless. Really? I think he has shown a lot of emotion and turmoil. Every single time the Beast gets brought up, she even has a emotional reaction to it, so I'm not really sure why you feel that way. Even in the latest update, there was a lot of emotion at his mother's funeral, and he had a panic attack just thinking about the Beast's attack when he was a child in this latest update.
Of course I'm a bit bias since I write the story lol. But I hope I explained why everything is the way it is

As I said, my points doesn't make him a bad character, just that it makes it harder for me to relate to him. But it isn't necessary for him to be relatable, it is more important that he is an interesting character, which he is.
1) Maybe it is my own bias showing through. I'm a bit tired of MC:s that never allow themselves to rely on the awesome companions they have and instead need to do everything themselves, regardless of how trivial.
2) It is a while since I played the previous updates, so I may misremember something or I simply never read carefully enough to begin with. My impressions are likely based on that I didn't fully understand the lore and the implications of the things happening. I should probably restart the game sometime to see what I missed.
3) Emotionless was not a good word choice on my part. It is more that he feels stiff, he is full of emotions, but he doesn't allow himself to outwardly show more than what is necessary for the occasion (except the Abyss fight, he let go a bit more there). In my mind, the scene with Val and Adi discussing subtle differences in his behaviour is pretty telling.
Sure - I cannot play a blackman, I like to be the role, many can ignore interacial things I can't, if the women were also black maybe - same as I cannot play a women
