Dude why the hell you didn't add moans voices with sex senses and some fucked up stuff to complete the vampire vibes, like what kind of Super writing is this

In addition to all of this, Najah is a female version of Rodrigo Goes with an Arabic name and Indian heritage, how the fuck I should find her attractive

This game's story is so confusing. It feels like there should be some kind of prequel to it but based on the comments in this thread it seems there ain't one. In a way it reminds me of the Gundam TV series where they just drop you in the story except worse because at least the Gundam shows usually give a short summary of the world events.

I personally felt it was fine and didn't have issues. Are there questions you've got that maybe some of us who've finished and understood it can answer for you?

I just started playing this yesterday and thus haven't finished the story. Also, I don't see what difference it would make whether you finished the story or not, and thus can clarify my questions. My problem lies in how the story is initially presented. You are thrown into the story without any proper world building or background info.

Take Mass Effect 1 for example. You start off as a Human who mostly dealt with his own kind, and thus you are introduced gradually to all the races either through a bit of exposition or by talking to these new species (on the citadel) and/or by doing side missions, thus learning their background.

I mean yea eventually if you keep playing you'll find out by progressing through the game, but as a new player it is confusing and not well presented in my opinion.

Storwise I liked the previous work that I played by this dev, Secret Summer, better.

PS. I also felt very confused and didn't like the fact you can choose:

where is the fun in that? I would rather progress through the game and get closer to them that way... That was also the moment I decided to dive into the comments to see if there was a prequel. And it was clear I wasn't the only one that felt this way.
Was there a Prequel to this game? I just started playing today and there is a part where I'm asked whether or not I'm already in a relationship with two characters and just want to make sure I haven't missed anything.

It is, a couple of times.

In fact it's one of the main themes of the game.

One set of sisters are vampires, the others are human. The parents of both sets of sisters got together and had the MC. The child of a vampire and a human.

It's heavily explained because it's directly linked to the main story and what's happening.

Changing the topic completely for a moment. Who is the girl in your avatar and from what game?

I don't think you really need to know all of the backstory before getting into things. Did you know that John Wick was feared even among his own kind until halfway through the first movie? Did you know that he had life debts that would force him back into work until the second film? Did you know that someone owed him a life debt until the third film? Why do you need to know everything up front?

With previous stories already paving the way for things like half-breed vampires (Blade, Underworld, et al), the vampire world not being secretive (Daybreakers, Freaks of Nature, et al), and similar, I really didn't feel at all like things unexplained weren't understandable. Even if you haven't seen those films or read those books / graphic novels, it doesn't really take much to understand. You don't, for example, learn who/how/why of a killer in a murder mystery until much later into the story; why should you already know all the ins and outs of the society in this game from the very beginning?

Yea, but the writers clearly showcase this through dialogue and actions of the characters, like when Viggo Tarasov schools his son Iosef with the infamous "They call him Baba Yaga" scene in combination with John retrieving his weapons. And also the reaction of Aurelio. This all tells the viewer that John Wick is a not a man to fuck around with.

So again, even in John Wick we slowly get to introduce to the world of John Wick. We find out about the Gold Coin currency, the Continental Hotel, The High Table etc.

I don't think you really need to know all of the backstory before getting into things.
Not saying that either (again, see my Mass Effect comparison), however I personally prefer it when a story eases you into a world instead of being thrown into it like this. Anyway, seems the majority of people it this thread don't agree with me and that's fine, but this is my opinion and I won't be swayed on it.

That's obviously fine; I'm not trying to sway you. I just don't see it. Even your Mass Effect comparison doesn't really apply, because again, there wasn't a rich lore from other works prior to the game that meant the majority of the audience was already aware of most of the stuff going on. That is, not in the same way as with vampire lore. There are several works in the past that have already been established about vampires in different scenarios, making SuperWriter feel like he didn't need to explain things. Clearly, for some folks (such as you), that's not the case. Shrug.png

I kinda see where both sides of this are coming from on this.

On the one hand, It's pretty common for a story to start off right in the middle of something with the audience not really knowing what's going on yet, but having some big event scene to try to hook readers in. Most action video games start with some kind of fight the player just gets thrown into, without really knowing why the MC is fighting this person. But it serves to catch the players attention, and give them an idea of how the content is going to play out for the rest of the game. All that background is usually set up later. The opening to Skyrim is much the same - the player wakes up in a cart, off to be executed, without having any real reason why or what's going on, until OMG IT'S A GIANT FUCKING DRAGON RUN FIGHT AHHHHH. In this case, since it's an erotic game, the author wanted to dump the player into an H scene early on, probably to avoid all the 'I had to read 5 hours of story before I even got to see the LI naked' complaints that more slow-burn style VNs get.

On the other hand, I do remember Sun Breed striking me as especially jarring at decision point in question. I don't remember all the details exactly, but I'm not even sure if the player is told that the 2 vamp sisters are actually his sisters, or are actually vampires, or anything about their personalities, before getting asked if you want the MC to already be in an intimate relationship with them. It's basically 'Here's two girls. Do you think they are hot enough that you want to be having sex with them? Don't worry about anything else for now.' Which just feels, kinda, off somehow. It woulda been nice to get a little bit more info before the choice pops up.

I don't understand what the Paragon and Renegade points are used for? Just how the storyline branches?
I came here to see what the red and blue symbols meant on the left of the choices. I figured out the points system based upon reading your screenshots. But should I just play as I would irl if faced with decisions? Do I need a certain amount of points to activate certain paths, scenes, options, etc?
Should I strive for a blend of points, or focus mainly on 1 path?
I'm mostly nice, but with a little bad. I'm nice to my 'roommates' and punched the guy in the bar. That punch is the only 'Renegade' choice that I've made so far. But I'm seeing more and more opportunities to be the "bad boy."

MC is half brother to all of the girls. They all have the same father. MC's mother was also mother of Valentine and Camilla.
Not exactly. MC shares a mother with Valentine and Camilla, but he has a vamp dad, and they had a human dad. The other 'sisters' are from MC's vamp dad and a vamp woman (who is not MC's mom.)

Also, I just choose to have the option of sex with everyone initially, and then can later choose to pass on scenes if I decide. But I'm a perv, and would have sex with nearly everyone in AVNs. Even the dwarves and Ogres. LOL
