This was an error in the first release and has been fixed in an update since. If you are in the second update and this still persists I'd recommend a full reinstall, including deleting the persistent file.Is there a reason why the animations are blacked out on my game? The text still appears but nothing shows. I disabled the animations and you see the images but when I enable the animations the screens go back to black with text only?
Sorry if this has been asked before. I've been away awhile and don't feel like browsing through the whole thread. Thanks.
Thank you. I am on the second update and the issue persist. I downloaded the game yesterday on my new PC.This was an error in the first release and has been fixed in an update since. I think it has something to do with my computer. I uninstalled and re installed and nothing changed. I've also noticed the animations from other games like Milfy City, Melody and DMD have the animations blacked out with only text as well. This was an error in the first release and has been fixed in an update since. what are specs of your comp?I think it has something to do with my computer. I uninstalled and re installed and nothing changed. I've also noticed the animations from other games like Milfy City, Melody and DMD have the animations blacked out with only text as well.
Do you know of a way to correct this? I'm not computer savvy so I don't have the slightest idea on what could be causing this.
Thank you for your time.
there was some talk about webm codec pages ago so prolly worth to check. Not a specialist of Ren'py, but are webm videos decoded by Ren'py, or is there a codec or something that has to be installed in Windows ?
It seems webm videos are encoded in either Google/On2's VP8 Video (VP80) or Google/On2's VP9 Video (VP90), if it can be of any help for solving this problem.
I have a Dell Inspiron. I just did a major update on all the drives and something called Intel HD Graphics driver was updated but that also didn't work. I might check the a few pages back like the other member suggested. I've pretty much given up. Lol.Hm, maybe the driver of the graphics card is outdated? Many years ago I had problems where games that used a certain engine - I don't remember which, but among others the Nancy Drew adventures were affected - either would not start at all or just show black screens. That was remedied after a while with the latest version of the nVidia driver.
Try to do the update again. Apparently something went wrong with what you've been doing. We meet new people, tick off the first task of the To-Do list and set stuff up for 0.0.3.What even was this update anyway? Literally nothing new from 0.0.1
Hello Nicole
I haven't played the game but what's her relation with Georgina
