I only recently found this forum. I supported DMD for years with no idea of its planned change in direction until I happened upon this place and a writer saying plans had changed. They didn't even talk about this move away from harder fetishes in the Patreon while it existed.

Maybe because that is actually one of the forbidden fetishes on Patreon? Now I understand it is annoying for you, but yes I can understand the team not talking about that on Patreon. That would be like committing suicide on purpose ........

Honestly, I'd argue that all the renders are hella well done, to the point that I can no longer enjoy DMD because of how out of date the game looks compared to this one.

Was like literally last ten/twenty pages here. Plenty of discussion about it. The change won't happen until the next update though.

because I missed it not sure I went back 20 but I really do appreciate your response and letting me know I like the game as with most of their games so you know felt the need to throw out the comment but hell it was already said and answered haha better late then never?? Well creating something that is your vision and sticking to it is always going to create the best results. At the end of the day most people are stupid and don't know what's good for them. Honestly I saw this coming when the very first thing the devs did was change the main LI in the game within a few days of first announcing the game based on community feedback. They are trying to please everyone and the quality of the game suffers because of it.
I don't know if its due to wanting more money, or simply just wanting the game to reach the biggest audience, but if that is the case it's very clear in this community that you need to go pretty vanilla. And if you're going vanilla, trying to sneak in hints or teasers or cliffhangers that suggest non-vanilla content is obviously going to put off and trigger said vanilla players.
It feels like the dev team don't really want to make vanilla games (based on the fetish stuff that features in DmD, and a couple of things that cropped up in this game), but they feel forced to go this route to appease their fans. Just my opinion.
They should obviously listen to feedback, look at it objectively and then decide if that feedback is beneficial to what they're creating. If there's one piece of feedback that has been consistent since the Melody days, and features in pretty much every negative review posted here, it's that the dialogue and and characters are extremely bland and dragged out. It's like they're trying to pad the play time of each release by inserting line after line of pointless text. This is totally unnecessary, the game updates on a 2 month cycle which is much faster than most games out there, so each release does not need to be an hour of playtime.
It's like McDonalds vs a fine restaurant. McDonalds is making a shitload more money, and way more people eat at McDonalds, but the food is whatever and doesn't really satisfy you. At the fine restaurant the chef is happy and proud of what he's creating even though he's not raking in millions, and the customers, although less of them, adore the food. MrDots games are basically the McDonalds of the VN world.

That was where I was going with that, the girls are great and the fashion design is superb. All the colors just POP, even a lot of the background. It all just makes for one hell of a great visual story.

Nicole's client did mention the arrangement that the Smith's have. I presume she meant Will and Jada. They apparently have an understanding when apart from each other.

I'm sure there are many examples. I think taking a break for the summer and see where they're at when he returns would make more sense. Same rules could apply.
Open relationship is more of a choice/lifestyle, not something you suggest over the phone imo.

A wonderful dots quirk. They do disappear the next time you see them naked. Dumb as fuck...but it is what it is. Like he makes porn games for 12yo virgins at times....I actually sometimes wonder how old he is himself and if he actually ever been in a relationship with a real woman from some of his writing/quirks.
