Wait......wut? So after 10 hours of intro and messing with an MC who is surrounded by hot women and can't stop talking about his fiance' back home, he finally goes on a date with victoria and is invited inside for sex and it skips the scene? It goes from entering the door to laying in bed and then leaving?!?!? WTF have I been playing this game for? I mean it has been a total snooze fest for so long but the models were really nice. I kept thinking it would redeem itself at some point. Then when you finally get to the point where you think it is going to turn around, it skips it. Wow, can't believe I wasted so much time on this. No more. Deleted.
Haha! Did you really delete it? You see it all in a flashback. And she's so hot, too. You dumb!

It doesn't matter. The gameplay was horrendous. As the MC I want to be in the now, not in a dream sequence, not in an alternate reality, and not in a flashback. The game is not worth the boring slog that you have to endure with an MC who is too much of a wuss to even look at any of the hotties around him. But hey, if you want to spend hours talking about plumbing, cooking, histories of things, how to properly manage stuff....then enjoy!

*sigh* Why do people always jump to rash decisions instead of continuing for five minutes?
Some people don't understand the novel part of visual novel and want a basic pretext for the action and nothing more, like the plot of an average porno i.e A pizza guy delivering the hot sausage to the milf who ordered pizza but has no money to pay for it.

One of my favorite complaints around here on way too many game is "the update was too short" when it took me a few hours over a few days to play the update. If you just slam down the control key until you hit some action, yeah the update was short.

I can appreciate both types of games and don't expect one type to suddenly be the other. I end up liking the story so much in this, that I end up forgetting the doughnut hunting and have to go back to find them!

Some people have quite literally zero patience. If you continued playing in THAT VERY SAME UPDATE for maybe five minutes longer, then you would have got the scene that you were complaining had been skipped.....

I might receive a "OK boomer" for that (and no, I'm not a baby boomer), but that's quite symptomatic of people these days, they want immediate things, cannot stand to grind or wait a bit for it.
They apparently don't get the great pleasure there is in working, put efforts to get things.

I think people forget the novel part of visual novel.
They want instant gratification.
Sad.

I'm not one of those people. You think you have me figured out, but you don't. The text of the game is just mind numbingly boring. Even if it was a regular novel, it is utterly boring. The writer goes on and on and on with completely inane and useless drivel. It's like watching someone narrate their entire mundane day one step at a time. I know you want to put me into a box to protect whatever high regards you have for the game. You like the game, that's great. I'm not putting you down for doing so. Try not to do the same to me for not liking the game.

I'm not judging you, just the fact that many people these days want immediate rewards.
I don't like putting people or things in boxes, and I'm not trying to put you in one, I'm just saying that there is a tendency in quitting things when something is annoying, and thus missing sometimes great things that come after that.
Yes, this game, and MrDots way of doing things in general, has flaws, but quitting this game because of a writing twist is a bit of a shame in my opinion, I think you miss some great things in the game by doing so.
But hey, you're free to do so, and have your opinion ; I'm free to have mine too.
And yes, MrDots way of summarizing an entire day or week in a loooong thinking narration is annoying, I agree with that and often skip the thing ; but not the whole game.

If I came across as complaining about one incident, that wasn't my intention. It was more like the straw that broke the camel's back. It was all the time spent building up to that moment that was the real issue for me. This just happened to be the thing that made me decide that I had wasted enough time.

I mean it's the first time MC has sex without Nicky so pulling the tease or prank or what have you of looking like they skip it can be a bit of an odd choice. I did wonder why they made that choice.

The dialogue ain't bad for a VN but the internal monologue has always been a long, winding thought train. I enjoy the story anyway. But if they could find ways to be more efficient in the conveyance and such I am sure we would all like it a bit more.

Sad to see you go. As odd as that may be. But I like this work and like to share it with others, I guess.

Could use some help with a game issue on my Android. I recently redownloaded and started over. Made it to naming the cousin and there is no GO button after I input the name so I cant advance. There was when I named the sister at the beginning. But when i started over again to check, now there is no way to get passed naming the sister because of the same issue. The keyboard just wont go away. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

It was not supposed to be personal, just a general observation, no attack was intended. Sorry that it came off that way. It is a very common complaint here with visual novel games, that they are too slow or have too much exposition. I enjoy games that are telling a larger story beyond the sex scenes but can appreciate games that get right to the point as well.

I understand where you are coming from. I usually don't give up on a book once I start it, but I did stop reading Moby Dick. It is supposed to be great literature but it is page after page of a guy literally obsessed to the point of insanity with chasing a whale. It was so dry and so absolutely boring. I still plan on picking the book up and trying again though now that I'm older, maybe I missed something when I read previously, there has to be something in it for it be so highly recommended. This game doesn't meet the level of too many words for too little story for me, but it does for you. That's fine.
