before you start shit-chatting bullshit, you should be sure about what you are complaining.
Fact is: there IS a full transition of ALL stats from chapter 1 to chapter2.
All you had to do is to play version chapter 1.0 (NOTE: 1.0 [revision] and NOT 0.8 or any prior version.
Also you had to play v 1.0 to THE VERY END and doan EXPORT file over there like you being told to do.
That export file will automaticially transfer your stats to chapter 2.
SAVEGAMES from chapter 1 will NOT work - you need that export file.

So in short: don't blame MrDots if you didn't play chapter 1 to the very end and also if you didn't make the export like you were told at the end of ch1

So now what? what else do you need? Still raging? Maybe about your own inability to play the final version of ch1up to the end and read what to do?

Well sir i got that bloody screen and the bloody save file. So you tell me! What do I need? Maybe you not being so sensitive and realizing that things don't always work as intend so maybe just maybe the manual asking questions backup shouldn't be a fucking blank screen. Especially when you have an introduction with multiple characters already in the game where you could actually ask the questions that have context instead of what is shortcake's name i still don't know who the fuck that is.

Maybe it was your inability the grasp complex concepts why may save game didn't transfer. Maybe it was a bug. maybe you are being a wanker? I don't know all I do know is a blank screen vs a screen with a picture makes a world of difference.

What I don't need is you white knighting and assuming bugs are the users fault. As you can see this screen is blank and black as night and you get questions that will show the above title screen as you showed but no context or picture for names not even defaults are given to help the player out.

As to my part i was too quick to assume that the dev didn't do a save game transfer but in my defense this is the first screen that popped up when i hit new game. So there was no indication a save game file was implemented. I don't know why things bugged out but clearly i have the end screen and the save file for it but they don't transfer.

As you can see everything i claimed in the first place was true. I even admitted i made my own incorrect assumptions but you haven't. Since you are sooooooooooo interested in my life i have solved the issue, [Once I knew the save file transition was implemented it took two tries to fix and I fixed it] and did a semi bug report on my original post complaining about the transition.

For other people...

If the transition file doesn't work and you still have chapter one installed you can try making a new transition file.

I had a save game of the end title card but making the transfer save file from this save failed (it likely has the bug imbedded in the save)

i loaded a save game from earlier in the game about a scene from the end got to the end game title screen and made a new transfer save and it worked. This MAY solve your issue with the transfer file not working if we share the same issue/bug.

I used the gallery mod to unlock the scenes so far. However, as i want to replay it now, i'd like to lock them again, so that they only unlock in the manner i play in the game. does anyone know how/where i do that? ^^ i presume it is in the app data folder, i just dont know which file

You might have to do a fresh install. In fact I am pretty positive you will, As the mod will have overwritten files that unless you have back ups you wont be able to turn off the gallery scenes being unlocked.

If you use an old save that will likely have the unlocked code imbedded into the save file so you have to start fresh.

Steps to "fix" your issue.

1) Delete game completely
2) Download new game {If you have the archive still you wont need to download the game again}
3) Install game
4) Don't use an existing save file start a brand new game

This should solve your issue. it isn't a quick fix per say but it should work and allow you to play the game mod free.

I have mixed feelings about the open relationship.
If done right, I think this type of plot would be great on the condition that the MC is an attractive alpha male. I'd imagine the female partner having dates with some guys and then comes to the realization of just how far above the rest her true partner actually is. I would love to see scenes like that honestly.
Sadly, the MC of Sunshine Love is not one and this makes it depressing for me. His situation monetarily and work-wise is worse than Nicole while his sexual prowess is far from satisfying (I mean, their first sex scene had Nicole needing to fake orgasm, and the flashback sex scene actually had MC fell asleep before Nicole got off. That is so not cool!). This set the situation where it's easy to imagine Nicole to end up with someone better on both end of what the MC lacks because Nicole is a very attractive woman who also had the brain and the work discipline.

Honestly, if I view it as a third party instead of inserting myself into MC, Nicole definitely deserves someone better.
