So what this basically tells me is that it's the mod that's screwing things up in the gameplay. Wonderful. My saves are all based on the mod and I'd have to replay from the beginning I suspect.

It's been a while since I played but it is one of the last things you do in season one if I recall. As for the sis the story is centered around her and she is shoved down your throat whether you like it or not. I'm in it for the incest so I don't mind it so much even though if I had a choice it would be the cousin. But it bothers others, like yourself I assume. Whether or not you play without the patch she is like D or Melody so there is no avoiding her. But unlike the other two I don't really care for her myself.

Sure you "can", but why would you? She's my favorite character out of all the games so far aside from "Emma" as I call the cousin in this one. Unless I played it the wrong way no matter what you do you at least get a handy and just about have sex later during a game all as part of the story until you tell Brodie you are just her friend/brother the MC and her are interested in each other at the very least sexually if not romantically.

yes but that doesn't mean that mc won't interact with her, they will talk and do things together.

I'm so conflicted about this game. On one part I do like most of the characters and am interested in seeing things develop with the main LI but the writing feels so bad sometimes. Like the characters say things that make no sense or ignore things they shouldn't like (SPOILER)

I realize that sister is on the arc of her own from being a shitty, slutty, weak-willed college dropout to a confident leader and successful owner, but still...
First, she lies MC to get him half way around the world just to save her hotel. Then, she treats him like garbage when her douchebag boyfriend calls. That was unforgivable as far as I'm concerned. She fully deserved a 'have a nice life' note after that. Instead we're to forgive and forget as 'correct' route.
And if you take into account underlying sexual tension between those two, her choice basically meant that she rejected MC, only her gamble didn't pay off, when douchebag Brodie didn't come through for her, like she hoped. So she basically came crawling back to MC fully aware of what she just did. In her mind, she made him a cuck.
Who would want to play for a cuck?
