Is there a reason I didn't get the achievement for having a successful country western themed event when that happened just before the fire in the PREVIOUS update?

I really hate to say it because I like the game, but this update felt almost like it was treading water and the plot has been moved to the next update. We are doing some half-assed "investigation" with Carissa / Shortcake / Cousin into the arsonist with not much coming out of it.
What we do though is start weeding out girls. With heavy heart I say good bye to Vicky. Even if she may be a casual fling, her Dad definitely doesn't think so, and I don't want to jump through every hoop imaginable for him only to end up leaving town 5 weeks later. This would feel like Charlotte Dobre declaring "Yes, you are" in one of her "AITA"-videos. And justifiably so. Same choices for Yuki (only affects my catch-up save since I only turn on her path for her PTs and doughnuts, but not on my main) and Lisa / Church Girl (somebody here may have renamed her Andrea). So far I kept the relationship running for a better chance to find out what her dad has to do with Sunshine Bay's seedy underbelly. Then again, that outcome may not be affected by whether or not you are in a relationship or not. And I may have encouraged Trisha to end things when you gave her advice during her confession.
So far no hard choices, but I am sure those will come when we get to "Mommy Dearest". Ideally my end game would be to stay in SB with Nicole, Half-Sis and Ashley, but I have a feeling that HS may not want to play along with that. Speaking of Sara / Half-Sis, her second scene was hot. The first one made me laugh because the glass she was supposed to hold on to was not rendered in some scenes, so she was bending over and holding on to air. Only some angles later could you see that there was glass due to a reflection. And I think it was her that gave me another love when a girl asked me if I liked what I saw and MC "answered" "Ooooh, a donut!"
Oh well, I hope the plot progresses more in six weeks. Consequently the cliffhanger was a bit lame.

This update: Nicole may have been closer than you think.

Her dad died and she has no other family, so even if you do not want to fuck her, she needs someone to be nice to her. That was plot
If you do want to date Yuki you made a really big jump in intimacy.
There was a fire. It was a BIG deal. We need to know who/what/why and we find info connecting it to the other antagonist in town the Church. Again the Fire was a Big deal. So this leads us to the Church and of course our contact Kristina. Whether we are dating or not it is plot that is needed. We are doing it ourselves because Rich Prick Bossman owns some police. Realistic to real life Rich Prick tycoons. So plot and understandable rationale for our "Scooby Doo" team to be on it.
Plus if you are dating Kristina she gives you a porn star level BJ, just saying. While in a Nun's Habit, so that's pretty fucking kinky hot.
I cannot comment on your disappointment with Sister scenes as I am NOT into her. But there were 2 more intimate ones putting her far above all others in lewd level overall. So Sister fans cannot really complain.
The END had a milder cliffhanger (which you should put into a Spoiler out of courtesy, come one man). But you want major disasters like Fires every time?? We already have a death and destruction of iconic heritage in town, how cruel are you????

The previous two everybody should already know about, so no spoilers anymore. As I like to say for TTI, you've had two or three years to read the book or listen to the audio play, you are on your own.
As for the plot and the church, yeah, Church Girl's daddy may have something to do with it, but unfortunately we don't find out anything because Daddy pulled a Nancy Drew on the office (-> "It's locked." ) It may open next update. Treading water, which was my original point.

This really hasn't improved since the last time I checked. It's gotten worse.
I have no siblings, but if she was my half/step sister I'd stick it in any hole she was willing. In my game step mom had her when she met dad.

Shortcake will remain the final prize at the end of chapter 2, i think, Connie will probably see some action in between to keep the smol fanbase happy, and Yuki of course just put her cherry in play.
Storywise the girls are just starting to find out about each other and exit points are popping everywhere so there is progress happening, though not in the direction most hope for (Harem).
