looks like a rippoff of illusion games (you can make what is showed on the pics on any illusion game) instead of donating money for a ripoff you would be better buying a game from Illusion (i bought play home and is one of the best i played until now and the customizations are endless)

A bit of schadenfreude, sure, but then again, hope they make a better game out of this.

The update is mostly the ability to choose the color for female character skin/hair/eyes and the skin color for the male. There wasn't anything added to the porn side for it.

this game is good. Why so mad?? Cursed Armor was a rip off game from another jap artist. The creator makes money. Another game, Witch trainer silver was a copy from Akubar. why can't you be happy that some one making a game that satisfied your kinks? Super D T 1 was made by a Jap. Super DT 2 is made by another group who do not use Super DT1 source code. It is like saying Fortnite copy Battleground. Both Super DT 1 & DT 2 share a similarity. However, DT is a genre. Be humble guys and gals !

This team never bothered to contact the other dev, they could have called it literally anything else and it would have been fine. Some people might have called it a ripoff or what have you. What this team did instead is took an existing and well loved game and made a new version using the same name to bank on the success of the first one. The first one, which prided itself on being free and encouraged modding as a means to create a community around it. Which it did, a community that still exists and is still being contributed to today.
This developer had an opportunity to reach out to that community and create something new in the spirit of it's predecessor, this developer could have taken donations for their time and provided the product and tools as the original did and not only would he have seen support he likely would have had a community of people to help him develop the game. If he truly means to update a classic as he says then this is the route you take. You don't take the IP and it's associated success and slap a 2 on it put a price on the box and tell people to fuck themselves if they don't like it.
If Fortnite had come out and called itself Pubg2 they would have been sued for it. The original dev of DP isn't around to defend himself for who knows what reason. As is the case of many developers of these types of games, there is a community here that could stand up to this type of behaviour by not supporting it. Otherwise there isn't anything stopping anyone from making a Summertime Saga2 or Big Brother 2 or any other popular adult game and profiting off of it if we all just let it happen.

The game Mino is the only game on this list that lost a copyright case to The Tetris Company. "Tetris" is now a commonly used term for a "tetrislike" game, so The Tetris Company can not win a case even for using the exact term. Have you ever heard of a "Roguelike" game? In 1980, an RPG game called "Rogue" was published. Cloning games is not new. Proof of direct copying of assets is what wins IP cases. It was shitty to use the same name, but it isn't illegal. That name is not registered and it is free for anyone to use.

He apparantly died. Not joking. As has been said hes been MIA but someone claiming to know him says he died (think it was a car crash or some accident). Either way no way to get in contact obviously.
Theres so many things they could have done but they decided to make their own game? Cant really be upset about that imho.
