Started playing the game because I was interested in the superhero aspect of the game title and description. But so far it feels like that's not really a big part of the game? At the superhero training place, so far I'm sitting in a normal classroom, and then I can do fairly non superhero training like studying and physical training

Granted I'm probably still early, but just wanna know if the game becomes significantly more superhero focused later?

There are some hero missions later. But it is still the minority of the newer content.

You go on patrols later on, sometimes something happens there. But the game is focused in the relationship bettween MC and the rest of the crew.

Just out of curiousity, what would you consider "proper superhero training" in a realistical world with legal implications and rules to observe when doing superhero stuff?

Stuff like classroom lectures and doing fitness is certainly part of superhero training. I wasn't really trying to criticize the game for having those things.

However I would also say that normally that's not really the main thing that comics with superheroes in training focus on. Something like the "wolverine and the x-men" comic had a main premise that revolved around Logan being the headmaster of the new x-men school and featured x-men students heavily as part of the main cast. And while you saw them in classrooms and talking about the school, the main meat of the series obviously still revolved much more around superheroes and superheroes in training engaging in superhero shenanigans that was happening both on and off campus grounds. Which makes sense since it was a superhero comic after all.

But in this world to be a "superhero" you have to be sanctioned by the goverment. You need to know what boundaries you can step on and what you can't touch.

The x-men conduct all kind of illegal activities and collateral damage. In this world their licence would be revoked pretty quick.

It's really just a matter of writing though. There's not some official superhero genre rules that says that in case of X in your superhero setting, you HAVE to do Y.

Anyway I didn't really mean to start a debate about this, I just wanted to know if at some point in the current content there was some stuff that went beyond the fairly down to earth stuff you're doing at the start of the superhero training routine. You and someone else was kind enough to reply, so thank you :)

No thanks need it. I would tell you more but sincerely I don't want to spoil it. Just keep playing and tell us what you think about it.

On the other side every "superhero" media has its own rules (novels, movies, videogames, etc...) It's just a matter of the author or authors stating those rules. From how you get superpowers to how its the day to day life of a normal person, how the law evolve and more.

superman, batman, captain america, spider-man, etc would be in big troubles in rl since a lot ppls would be after them and it'd make what they get in comics look fly harassing them.

So now the MC has a romance storyline with the car and they are sleeping together. I love this fucking game.
not romantic, friendship.

Superhero? If I could be anyone I think I'd pick Professor X... Don't really care about the mind-reading stuff, I just hate walking.

I have a query for you Solace; Are you going to finish giving him his cat powers? Agility, retractable claws(not wolverine, like a cat) reflexes, etc? Or are you going to leave him unfinished? He obviously gained his powers due to the exposure to the cat, repeated exposures should ensure that his powers activate completely, yet so far, only his eyes, and musculature have been enhanced. (not mentioning the obvious enhancement) I certainly would love to see him gain superhuman agility, and reflexes. That way he could give Riley a REAL run for her money in the sparring match that is coming up.

Hello, Solace here

I can't answer or confirm anything related to the upcoming parts of the story for spoiler reasons on these forums, and the protagonist's powers are a very hotly debated topic. At most, I try to clarify story segments that have already occurred in the game. Usually, I stay out of conversations regarding the plot of the game entirely, because I wouldn't want someone looking for a bug-fix or walkthrough browsing the comments and hitting a spoiler minefield. That said, I don't want you to think that I'm ignoring your comments.

If you would like some simple answers or clarification on what I'm intending with a certain aspect of the story, feel free to send me a private message on Patreon - I've got it set up to ping my phone so I get around to questions within a day as opposed to like a week. I won't be unveiling the entire plot, it doesn't really work like that when you're still searching for assets, but I can better explain what I'm trying to do with my B-movie Superhero game.

I'm most active on the F95zone forums during a public release week since that's when I can get the most feedback and search out bugs - like the Artemisia-Riley fiasco that was this update's main issue. After that, I drop by every now and again to see how the forum is doing while working on current content.

I like this theory. Plus, no spoilers but let's just say that his sparring match with Riley had a very unexpected outcome. All hail Catman, the avenger of the night! Not to out-weird your theory, but my theory is that the cat is actually a shape changed blond girl who is also his daughter from the future.

here is my unofficial android port of Superheroes Suck v0.90.2public.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

from now on my android ports of Ren'Py games have a 2nd, persistent save location like windows. if you uninstall an app, the save files and persistent data remain intact.
therefore the app needs the permission to access the public external storage (or a new one on Android 11 ), because it has to read and write outside its own external storage directories.
you have to grant the permission or the app is shut down.

have fun and please report problems (you can reach me ).

Did I miss an Artemisia-Riley-MC threeway? Dangit! I knew I should have made different choices!
