ART gets better when you advance the story, first characters that appear should be reworked a bit. The style is the same, but you can clearly see the art gets a bit better. It's not mind boggling, but I find it cute and I enjoy it quite a bit at the moment.
Story is the big thing here, tho; It's really interesting, and the characters are charming in their own way. There's some "average porn characters" around the place, but mostly, they're quite interesting and want to know a bit more about them. I could easily see an actual TV show with this setting or one similar.
Also, NTR is barely there, it's a secondary quest, and you don't even need to "accept it", you can just VERY CLEARLY avoid it with one decission, and from there on there's no more NTR at all.
Please everyone, I personally dislike NTR in games too but stop being crybabies about it, at least get some info first, cause most developers nowadays give you a way to entirely avoid it.

Yeah, that's a perfect example, the policewoman actually looks bad in comparison to most of the new characters, or just their redesigns. Creator should make a small sweep and go around reworking some characters a bit, some look a bit wonky still and it's quite dissonant when you see them next to eachother.

He just wanted to suppress all memories of Ella.
It's the same as suppressing everyone else's memories that he was fat.
But it has been said several times that Mia is extremely intelligent (genius), had a strong will, and was aware of exactly what he was doing to her. As a result, her resistance was much greater, forcing Jake to use much more power, which brought him to the limits of his abilities. If you remember, Ella later told him (in hospital) that if he tried something like that on superhuman or a monster, it could kill him. This is also the reason why all his commands are subtle and he does not try to get people to do things that no one will could force them to do.
Relatively similar things apply to real-world hypnosis.
You can make a man bark like a dog, but you can't make him take a knife and cut his neck.
Your subconscious protects you from things you would never do.

She explicitly noted that this is only if the superhuman is stronger than him and has more energy. It forces a direct clash of power that is determined by raw energy.
IIRC she also mentioned ordinary humans are not an issue.
hmm, your explanation sounds plausible. not sure which of the proposed explanations is right though.

My guess is that Deryl was caught unprepared and during the changes in Mia's memories, Jake was unfocused.
In addition, intelligence is not always a measure of strong will. I think Mia is significantly superior to Deryl in this regard.

those scenes with father were really wholesome. it's good to see them father-son-bonding
I mean she got into the Super genius tower, and they seem like the kind of people to reject "test smart" students in favor of "change the world smart" students if Xanthe is at all involved...
Also, Deryl explicitly acknowledges that he has stuff to learn from Mia.
As for her will power, she breaks a cinderblock with her forehead after training with Michael.
That said, I do think she just got mind blasted STRICTLY because Jake did a hack job of it.

why the game with the ugliest art is so high rated? Is it really worth to try it out?
for one the art grew on us
for another, we are in it for the story. hell, porn is just a nice bonus.
if I was to compare it to something, it would be an above average comic.
If it is rating high ,there must be a reason...so instead of asking the obvious you could easily try it

real talk, Im not a big fan of the art style. But at least its got a particular style. Beats most of those DAZ games that all look alike to me

For many people the art is off putting, it was for me the very first time I looked at it, but honestly once you start playing the art starts to grow you and the game itself is so well done it's not a hindrance at all.
