Huh, now that you said it, neither Alice nor Michael have a resistance to...just a ball of poison. I guess, literaly rain poison on them, or gass em, and game over for both, as neither have a good all round shield or a stronger then average imun sistem.i think the main problem with the MC is he has issue breaking the mold.
Lets be honest in the MC vs Michael vs alice
Both can be taken down the same way close distance and the MC just Need to create a mix of gastric acid and poison and puke it into their faces evade as the poison act up and just do the bone ball to finish them all of that can be done at lvl 1 if we go lvl 2 we have even more tools same acid puke then finish them with the mantis spear. Tho, then again, Deryl used those tactics against Michael and lost, and Deryl is more cunning on traps and subterfuge then MC (was a lose fight from what i remember tho).

If Ella had poison or acid on those little things she used to stab Nico, maybe she could have impaired Nico's reaction time enough to kill her on her second hit, so why she didn't even try that is beyond me.

It's been a SUPER long time and I might be wrong about this but I recall when Ella first learned that MC went to the zoo (or rather simply went after animals for shapeshifting) she was surprised.
So maybe she just never thought bout doing such and just shapeshifted with whatever her mind went with.
Thats my guess with my sleep deprived mind
Edit: I was recalling the bad end where MC goes all out in their first fight and shows off his venom tentacle and she was surprised that he had it...tired Syther indeed.

Well we already saw some differences.
MC went with animals and the like for his shapeshifting and people too.
Ella seemingly (as far as I can remember) has been freeballing her transformations and doing whatever but at some point added metals and perhaps other materials to herself...oh and she has a pretty fuckin dank defense by putting a lot of herself underground which we saw during the big fight during battle of diamonds.
Something to note is: Ella said during her fight with treeboi is that she 'allowed' and 'chose' for Tree boi to be able to harm her form. So with how she is she can just say no to damage against weaker foes I guess.

I have a question for you guys, serious time, may even start a war.
Is there ANYONE in game with ALL OF YOUR HEART that you actually d e s p i s e? I mean when they come on screen you just CANNOT find a reason AT ALL to enjoy them, as a reader/player due to perhaps bad writing of something of that nature?
I personally can't find anyone at all. There are people I dislike in the game sure, but I know I either do or will have the opportunity to put them in their place as the MC. Or alternatively I know they only really serve a purpose; like Jared being the a typical bully that just serves as a negative for the MC's journey.
But I've never really seen anyone written horribly that I believe plays a major role that is a toxic nuisance to the rest of the writing for the sake of it. The only one that comes even remotely close imo is Deryl, but I am biased and there are PLENTY of reasons for why he acted/acts the way he does.
Some bad apples that people may say and reasons I don't find them horrible as a character/don't enjoy them on screen:
1. Jared
He's a bully and DOESN'T play a significant"always the center of attention" role in the narrative, I didn't hate Flash in Spiderman.
2. Cole
Shares the same premise as Jared, in which he's a cocky prick but doesn't play a huge narratively annoying role that takes away from everyone else.
3. Nameless Thugs/Bullies
Again, they are side filler to help us feel better about ourselves.
4. Ella
She carries more than half the plot AND mystery of the entire game on her back.
5. Jake
He had an entire arc to himself essentially but it wasn't a HUGE take away from the MC and still looped and ended it's way into the MC's in a beautiful way/montage of blood and battle.
6. Danica
She's like a Cole to me just less aggressive, but again, serves the role as someone you can knock down a peg eventually and doesn't overshadow the main narrative.
I could go on but I hope this gives you a better understanding of my question. Again, no one fits MY criteria of just a horrible character but I want to know your guys' thoughts on the matter.

If i had to explain i guess the main difference is that Ella is able to control her powers with far more precision, she can easily change very small structures on her body and even the atomic structure (making metal for example) at will, and since her lvl 1 it seems. Mc doesn't have this degree of control, he uses memories to make perfect copies of other creatures and people whitout the need for precise control of the process, so Ella's limits are whatever she can imagine, Mc's are whatever he can acess through memories.
Ella's invulnerability i think works by controlling her form not to change, i'm not sure if the power of the one attacking her makes a difference, as long as she has power to maintain her form she is impervious to damage.

Or that we will eventually probably be able to make Cole GROVEL at our toes after we nearly smite him into the shadow realm?
Perhaps I should've asked do you find anyone so poorly written you hate even seeing them on screen/hearing about them? As they take away from the overall experience and still always find a way to ruin the flow of all the better writing?
