The dialogue suggests that Syla calls Goliath. -> "Right Oli?"
Technically she can do stuff like that. She can pinpoint Goliath's location in the Dream World and echo some false memories. Perhaps she even has done this in advance because she knows who is after her so Goliath is always ready to come into her defense.

The problem is how fast Goliath appeared. At one point it's just Ymir, rising through the ground and wrecking havoc in the city. At another point, Goliath just materializes, grabs Ymir and sends him flying. It's impossible for Golaith to be in a relatively close distance and MC to have missed him. It's also improbable that he was underground like Ymir, because he just materialized on top of the city.

So while the dialogue suggests Syla calls Goliath, due to the way the scene plays out, my instict says that Syla either projected Goliath from her Memories, or she shapeshifted into him. (We know she can shapeshift).

Could this be proof that Syla exhibits the Power of the M43? Could be, but I don't find it likely.
It doesn't make sense to me that the Memory trait can mimic other powers so well, when the Body trait, which is the true shapeshifting trait, can't.
I think there is something else facilitating that ability. Some ideas:
Fantasy: Basically the monster mimics the trait. It causes damage but it's not "real". For example it looks like fire, but it's not fire.
A bit of all: The monster has something like 5% of every trait, and it's unique mutation allows it to mimic every ability it reads through Memory.

Lastly, I think the theory that Syla is a monster has pretty much died thanks to the Vestige.
Unknown "Only you, kinsman, carry our humanity on."
You "Only me? What about all the other humans?"
Unknown "Your question has been answered."

MC carries the Vestige's humanity in him. This pretty much translates to Syla being an alt-human, and MC is half human (from Stephen) and half seahuman (from Syla). Don't be surprised if Syla hides gills or some shit with her hair.

Perhaps strength eaters and the m43 are monsters that somehow are related to the sea-humans (monsterfication), considering the affinity for water, but how that could be, I can't tell at this point.

This could explain why MC, Syla and the M43 have issues with lightning. Water and Lightning is a bad combination.

I like to restart after big breaks to this game, and oh man I forgot how fucking weird the style was lol, especially the first time you meet the Nymphs. Their faces... View attachment 3521422 good lord lol
I love this comic style drawing, tho. It's unique from the other Daz models where everything kind of blends in if the dev doesn't make an effort. WW did improve a ton with the passage of time.

We have a lot of info on that:
1. Alt-humans fought the monster invaders with the power that the monsters granted them:
"Our old enemies of the sky fight above us. Together, we repel the invaders, using the strength they granted us against them."

2. Alt-humans had the likes of Henri and they are very aware of his circumstances:
Unknown "We are. An impressive specimen to be sure. His like has not been seen since the time of our people. Of our great lord."

3. Alt-humans have more knowledge on corruption and gods that humans do, even going as far as to predict certain circumstances around MC:
Unknown "Like us, they are an enduring manifestation. But their origin is... Far darker."
Unknown "Corruption... Those that have indulged to the limit..."
Unknown "It is there, that they are called home. It is there, that they ascend."
Unknown "And even if you were to tread such a path... Beware the gaze of the divine. There are few places closer to the higher plane."

Alt-humans are significantly more advanced in matters of the Supernatural than humans and based on the memories we've seen, they also have rituals that we don't have a clue about. There is no reason to assume that they can do less. If anything, the safe best is that they can do significantly more.

The 5 evolutions are even more ancient than alt-humans.
"This body has surpassed its fifth, and yet still, the looming warrior fills me with apprehension. I'm not yet ready, I need at least one."
"Waiting for me are two perfected spawn, engaged in heated battle."

This comes from the Eye, who has been sleeping for an uncountable amount of time. It's very familiar with how the system works. Additionally It uses a vocabulary that MC himself shouldn't know, like "perfected spawn". Why is the Eye so familiar with those terms? Maybe because Monster and Spawn are the two sides of the same coin? Maybe because Spawn are as ancient as Monsters?

The cycle of monster invasion has been going on for millenia.
You "Tell me, why do monsters give us humans powers?"
show elinv 205 with dissolve
Female "Instinct. It is in our nature to spread our genes, our traits, our powers. Infection is why we exist, it's how we exist, it the reason we've spread across the cosmos."
You "So that's it? There's nothing more to it? It's just in your nature?"
Female "Correct."
You "Is it your way of colonising other planets?"
show elinv 208 with dissolve
Female "It is. Though whether or not that's the true reason we were born with this instinct, I do not know. You would have to ask our creator."

If something is "a way of colonizing other planets", then it means it has been done enough times for Aglaecwif to observe the behavior.

So to summarize:
We have a cycle of Monster vs Human conflict, where monsters instictually infect and either kill or monsterfy the population except for some Spawn that end up dying anyway. This has been going on long enough for the Eye who is unfathomably ancient and seemingly sleeping, to have intimate knowledge of, pointing that both monsters and spawn are part of god's plan.

Monsters and Humans live in different dimensions, but every now and then, rifts open that connect these dimensions and once the first rift opens, they seemingly increase in frequency.

The "Alt-humans" we know of are 2 distinct races. The Seahumans and Skyhumans. They lived in the same planet, used to be enemies and both got infected by monsters and fought an invasion together. They lost.

While we don't know the extend of what came after, we know that the Seahumans are survived as a Vestige in the Dreamworld. MC meets these Seahumans and can potentially learn about some interesting topics, including an offshoot comment about his own heritage.
(Btw, I'll include this here, WW said that MC is Half-white and Half-Something else, this aligns with the knowledge we got from the vestige).

Alt-humans are adept Spawns. They can analyze lines, they know about corruption and divine matters and they have special rituals that contemporary humans do not (yet).

Lastly, Seahumans are supposed to have gills according to the memory that MC gains from his exploration with Nyx. It's a bit peculiar that MC doesn't have gills if he is a descendant of Seahumans. However I could see some ways that this could be fixed, from rituals, to shapeshifting, to just being a genetics thing. I wonder if Syla ends up having gills.

I belive that Liz and Amber will live anyway they are after all a twins and we all know that twins usually way stronger than just ordinary superhumans with help of mc or not they will live.

But thats dosent change the fact that we must personally beat the shit ouf Cole no matter what after all for the first time we will see a berserker mode mc.

The only one time I saw a mc somehow "mad" was at his evolution around Deryll fight when mc just laugh like mad man.

But there will be a pure and unstopable rage and Its really rare I mean the mc itself are somehow a calm he was always In his fights now I recall.

I wonder how his powers will behave In his current state, so far we know that his powers are somehow autonomous, we was able to see It clear In the last update when he fight twins and his own tetacles slap him In the face on Its own to wake up him.

But the most important part Is that I really wonder the "eye" the origin will show again, by the way I can already tell that the origin Is related to the mc more than we may think, even the scars on mc face are the same shape like the "eye" orgin In his visions/dreams and It was pretty long time when we last time speak with It. (perhaps Its a eye of the chosen one that mc was given by his mother?)

The last mc Is way stronger than I was thinking back then I mean, he was able to face a twins+Shen for some time despite thier power gape he was able to stand his own ground and not back off, he was even able to fight back I dont say he was able back then to win, Im just saying that If not Shen who was naturally a power wall to the mc, mc could fight with them.

Wonder what corruption dose do...I mean I know some choices require you to had corruption but It was to this day not clear for what are the corruption, It will have huge impact? I gusse yes but It will affect only ending, but then again If yes If we get sequel of this game I hope our choice of the ending will have affect this or else Its pointless.
