Every 4 months. Usually.
Baal does 8 weeks on one game, then 8 weeks on his other game.
Occasionally there'll be over-runs (Last cycle was 10 weeks with each game), but he's fairly consistent.
It would be nice if Baal made an exception in this case, since his "update" made the game unplayable. Just release a patch that fixes the black-screen bug and we'll go back to quietly waiting 4 months for the next content update.

only thing this game does better than the first one is it's visuals. literally the only thing.
The last one had like 5 years of updates while this is only a few updates in. And it isn't an episodic type thing where it is the fully playable prologue or chapter 1 like in most porn games that have a VN-like experience. This game has actual sandbox gameplay, so it will be awhile before there are enough mechanics and content added in to provide a proper game experience.

I'd recommend checking back in after a year or so to see where it is at then.

I can understand why someone who really enjoyed Superpowered 1 would have preferred further development and content for that game, but I wasn't very interested in the updates for that by the end. It was mostly just adding in content for new characters that I didn't care about and developing the main story-line (which I also wasn't really interested in; I am here for the semi-interactive porn).

So I am glad to see the dev spending time on something new.

Hey!

Is there a way to fix the black screen on loading? Good thing I checked it early. Still though, are there some pc settings perhaps that can let me play it after loading? As far as I could tell, some ppl actually can play and save/load the game.

All you had to do was translate the same game to a new engine. You had a decent story and character building.
This dice roll shit blows
I can see how the postings on here are staggered this game is headed right down the shit chute

I really do hate the dice mechanic. The dev is making the game harder than it needs to be.

Haven't bothered with this yet knowing the dev (I'll give it 0,5-1,5 years until it's worth testing personally), but what is wrong with dice mechanics? How are they different from the original literally just making hidden rolls you don't see to choose which version of an event plays out?

Not the person but my problem with these dice rolls are that alot of the checks currently you need to be lucky or grind to a absurd degree to even start. Extra dices and modifiers for a ~15%(kinda of a random number but it probably lower on avg) chance to succeed as currently stands is kinda wild. Maybe when its more fleshed out it wont be as punishing I kinda actually like the dice roll system but needing to get +3 and/or trigger dice explosion for just for the chance of seeing content.

Shit if you could add a dice to any roll per day that would make me feel alot better about it.

Basically Grindy + Gacha mechanics. It's a porn game not an MMO. It should'nt be grindy

I don't think random dice rolls count as gacha mechanics. I never saw anyone complain that Monster Hunter had too many gacha mechanics.

I mean... The first game was super grindy as well. You also had pretty shit chances at doing stuff that needed rolls until you unlocked more powers, so this mostly sounds like issue with game being early in development and dev balancing for when you actually have more powers. Which in turn is why I said I'll wait a long time until I touch the game - it will more or less balance itself out once the content is more fleshed out. I do agree it will be frustrating in the meanwhile.

Dice rolls are not gacha mechanics, not even close... However, if game being grindy is a dealbreaker, definitely avoid this dev. ALL his games are some of the grindiest this site has, despite consistent feedback that it needs to be toned the fuck down.
