Well I can safely say I had none of the naive thoughts. But, tends to show there is really only one path in the game that being a villain it's just to what extent you want to be that way.
Mindcraft ~ Yea, so checked it out.
If you don't use break will then dominate costs you out the rear in energy. You have to get 60 control to use mindcraft the first time. Suppresion family ties, +20 willpower (each day) not sure if that is for you because theirs also goes up 20 each day.
Also says requires a force of will to be successful? Not sure what the hell that means. Tried everything on the tools and not a damn thing made a difference. She still treats me as her son? if it doesn't piss her off still says love is capped.
From what I see here this just adds even more grinding to the game. It takes 5 turns to drop their will to zero 20 each break will. If you don't do that well then half of what they have ends up added to the 10 of dominate so even leaving 20 will up would mean it costs you 20 each time you use dominate. Which is more than the 10 to get rid of the 10 will. 5 x 12 you get to 60. each costing 10 power x 5. so it costs you 100 power just to get there. Only problem is you are looking at added energy costs when you open that up meaning you have to spread it over a couple days. Which also means their will will rise again in that time you have to lower it back down and he control will have dropped.
In short it can suck the shit out of half a week just dealing with 1 girl even then you are playing catch up on energy.
Currently Billy is paying something like $260 a month. Not sure the exact number.
Honestly this is more work just playing this game at this point than it is me working on the game I am building and the other projects I have going on combined. It's hours of fucking for a few seconds of scene in which a character might be having sex.
But of that the current scene I did the testing in is the kitchen area where I used mind control bent mom over in front of her daughter and daughters friend and no one said shit. The scene it consists of 2 frames of the image one where you have her bent over and pounding her no animation and the next frame is you standing behind her with your dick in hand cum dripping off it. I think there is 3 lines of dialogue. All that effort for that little pay out? The payout sure as hell isn't equal in value to the effort to get to it. Not even reasonably close.

Don't get me wrong I think his concept is great.
This isn't a final release. I think thought he needs to address this now or he is going to bury himself in work later trying to fix it.
I actually had a second paragraph that went depth on measuring the grind. I cut it off. Figured it was just to much bitching.
Most players come on here simply to look at images. Few read the story. A lot less come to play a game just to grind to see very few pictures.
If you look at that aspect and consider how many people already play this game just imagine how many would be willing to play if the grind was reasonable. Usually more players also means more supporters. The topic and idea he picked is so popular it over shadows the extremely excessive grind issue.
Looked at trying to mod it. More effort than I feel like putting into it. Seems to only included the rpyc files and I don't feel like trying to decompile it.

There are lots of good management games not many of them are related to adult content though.
One of the hardest issues to deal with when building a management game is striking a balance in the game play so it doesn't get to feeling like this one does.
Frankly, I'm kind of an evil ass. I only said it on here because I know a lot of people on here like the game and if one of them want to provide it in a more constructive feed back than what I did earlier more like I am now. They can.
At this point having read you effectively make the same comment about what the developer said regarding it. I don't see wasting my time. I'd probably more apt to start building a similar concept game and just make sure I avoid it in my own development. I know kind of an ass but one guys refusal to fix an issue in software is another person's opening to make a better product.
The last couple days the time I spent on this game has been mostly trying to figure out how to play it after reaching the 2nd mindcontrol and not keep playing it as a grind fest. It seems I have basically two choices excessive grind and cheat or let the game drag on and take way more ours to play. Well I can't afford to play this game 10 hours which is what I calculated it would take playing if I played fairly and grinded normally. I have a life. That leaves the ultra grinding and cheating which isn't fun and seems to defeat the point of playing if you have to cheat.
I think for now I'll shelve the game and play others while I work. From time to time check in and see if he has done anything to fix it if not it will stay on the shelf.
If I complete my current projects and he still hasn't fixed the issue. I'll probably give some serious thought into building a similar game.

Christmas come a little early this year, and I updated my "better experience" mod for you.
Among the many change, the most important one is the addition of a scenes tracker system (seen screenshot bellow). Not only it track more than 1000 scenes, letting you know if you've already seen them or not, but for each one it also warn you if the requirements are met or not, while explaining you what are those requirements and how to trigger the scene.
It also include new cheats, give you some control over the Billy's demerits, and let you decide precisely which girls is available in the school hall and in the kitchen ; obviously only if the said girl can be in this place.

I am usually a non mod player but some of these features are really great. The tracker alone is worth it

And of course, the release happening so near to Christmas, Murphy's Law stroke... If you had problems to see the scenes tracker, I released an update of the mod that correct this.

I just realized that I don't actually know what all the stats do. Fitness is how hard you hit, reflex chance to dodge and stoicism defense but I'm not entirely clear on the social and mental stats.
I think concentration increases how much you learn in class or from personal training while awareness is for a few skill checks and the secondary benefits of personal training, but I have no clue with reasoning. And for social stats I think personality is how much favor you get from talking to people, leadership factors into stuff like discussions and persuasion... is it mostly just the negative interactions?
I don't think the night city wiki thing explains the actual stats, so are they written down in detail elsewhere?
Or wait, was it that concentration only helps with skill checks and it's actually natural and enhanced mental that boost class learning?

Fitness doesn't seem to affect combat damage any more.
Concentration is incredibly valuable. It affects how much xp you receive in the primary talent when personally training (as does natural mental). It also affects how much Willpower a victim loses when using Break Will and how many Control points are awarded when using Dominate. It also controls how many Corruption and Inhibition points are modified daily when using the various Mindcraft abilities.
Persuasion affects how much xp you receive in the secondary talent when personally training. It also affects how much Favor is lost asking for favours.
Personality's primary effect is how much Favor is granted when passively interacting with people (the girls between clsses, primarily).
