well maybe but this dev won't do it, at "best" he will make another remake and then abandon it too.

damn shame what happened to this game... loved the game when it first came out and then he tweaked the story and polished the honey select models up! still a nice game but i think thats where he took Lillians boobs away, but i can deal with things like that! then he decided to try renders with daz and it all became a house of cards at that point! dont know the deal with the devs personal issues but as far as the game and development goes, i was sad to see this one hit the abandoned pile! it had so much potential if he just kept doing what he was doing in the honey select renders and saved the daz stuff for the other game he was making...! oh well! guess we'll never know what could have been! farewell girls of sylphine! you will be missed!

I knew this game would be abandoned when the dev decided to redo the game. Almost always a bad omen and a sure sign of a dilettante.

Decided to check this thread to see if there are any news but I guess I just wasted my time. At this point if he is smart he will come back as dev with a different name. His reputation is completely destroyed

he was actually trying to make a second game, the name of which escapes me now! when he learned how to do daz modeling thats when he redid "sylphia island" into the daz rendered "sylphine"! he had also announced he was making characters for another game and had posted pics of them and stuff! not sure if that was on the "sylphia island" thread or what but i remember those being a thing and while they looked nice, i assume he was trying to do too much at once and got ahead of himself! anyway, thats all in the past now! the second game isnt gonna happen when he cant even finish the first one! again i say its too bad because the guy and his games had potential!

Fact is, even if the medical shit is valid it doesn't really matter to 99% of us. It's not a question of caring or not caring; I don't jerk off to other men's mental health issues.
I used to support maybe 10-20 creators at a time. Now I support a handful. I exclusively support creators who are *currently* producing content at a satisfactory pace. I don't care if a creator takes 10 years and 15 remakes to put out a game, but I will not involve myself in the hype, nor will I support them during that process. I pay for results, and if a creator stops producing results I stop supporting them.
I also stop supporting them the second I read anything that sounds like an excuse. Apologies are fine, excuses just piss me off.
It's important to reward good creators. It's equally important to cut support for bad creators. Part of why this whole system works is we can browse here, try a bunch of different games, and find creators who suit our individual tastes. This allows us to find content we want while also allowing creators to market their products on an open forum. The whole system starts to break down if they don't get rewarded for good content, or if they easily get rewarded for bad behavior.
