As a general rule: version numbers only can tell you that a game is further advanced if the version number is higher(*) than that of a different version of the same game. Almost every dev uses a different system, and even within the the same game by the same dev the same amount of "version number rise" does not have to convey a comparable amount of content increase. A game with version "0.2" can just be a short proof of concept, almost finished, or anywhere inbetween....which in turn has more content than a 0.01 increase... And have I said 0.01 has more content than half 0.4+ games in this website?
(*) including added letters, descriptors like "alpha - beta", dates, and similar. Also, depending on the numbering used, "0.15" can be before or after "0.2".
