I've been checking the scripts and it seems that everything works fine.
As for your save data: I've detected that some variables have been modified manually.
I'm making this game to not allow the player to modify the variables manually and if they do it they can get stuck.
If that's not your case (plz be honest) I can try to find a solution for you.
Also if you have a different save data just before you go to Lipha's village, I recommend using it in order to know if you have the same problem again

Ok so tomorrow I'll try to fix your save
Now it's late and I'm not on my pc.Also I'll try to take a closer look at the code.
stuck in exactly the same spot as others - nothing on the river, never modified anything in my save, just played this game normally
i did a gird search and went over every inch of that river twice nothing. Unless its a glitch or i missed something to activate it. its not in that river.If you mean Lipha's village, did you look at the river?
