Even a used 1080 would be a huge upgrade. Unfortunately right now I'm stuck with a laptop that overheats and produces the noise equivalent of a jet engine as I hit the damn render button.
Check out the building next to Therin (the street sweeper).
If you saw the earlier posts you'll find others having the same issue. Just walk towards the pillars to the right.
Edit: The cheapest option for complete system right now are either prebuilt systems or zou get an rzen with built in vega gpu.

I find them all too expensive right now as in overpriced and not worth it even if one had the money.
You have started a business endaevor of some sorts. You should always have in mind what you invest and what you get out of it.
And right now is a bad time to start this without having the hardware.
But you got so far then i would say keep watch that your laptop fan is not full of dust. I mean that i had one overheat on me in the worst of times due to the fan being never cleaned. Same happened with an gpu i had too.. didnt flinch or gave any warning until it jus broke one gaming night.
Since then im much better prepared reagrding those things. But it also shows that even as pro u can do wrong or oversee things.
Back to topic .. saving for an rtx card would be great as those have a got a great speed advantage vs old cuda core rendering due to the use of the rt cores.
And i do have an old gtx 960 with 4gb and an rtx 2070 so i know what im talking about.
The 1080 would be twice as fast as the 960 i think and it has double the ram. But the rtx still easily wipes the floor with the 1080.
I paid 440 Euros or so 2 years ago for that card.. If things were normal that card is worh maybe 300 eur at best normally more like 200 but times have changed and hardware isnt losing its worth as fast as a decade ago.
Edit: Its actually at times more worth than i paid for .. which is completly bonkers but that are the times we live in. I could sell my 960 for 200 = 250 bucks but then i had the problem of waht i am going to do when my good card breaks.. so i keep it.. i like having old spare cards even if i loose money.
But then You also need ram cpu mainboard and so forth and all in all you would invest way to much for it being used hardware if you were going for an 1080 gpu pc and around 1500 to 2000 for an 3060 pc if you can even buy the parts. If youre lucky you would get some prebuilt that are super fast sold out.
you would also need a monitor.. thats another 200 -300 bucks.
And patreon money wont come in buckets at the beginning if at all.
It could be a good idea to look out for used pcs in your home city .. depending on where you live... maybe someone is selling without knowing how prices are worldwide. Or police auctions where they sell pc from criminals or public offices or so...

The game is looking interesting to me.
However, for now the two scenes I've gotten, the first one with the prostitute and second an Amie's footjob, they aren't exactly the kind that I like.
The scene with the prostitute, is a big no for me: I'm not interested in voyeur scenes, I don't like everything related to watersports, and the client seemed like a real cretin to me (and that's important, because it makes the scene upset me instead of not caring or dislike it a little). I've tried to see as little as possible. I'm not a fan of seeing girls fuck with guys other than the MC, and even less if she is going to be a LI (I don't know if this is the case). Personally, if we can kill the jerk in that scene, I'd be delighted.
I'm not interested or attracted to the footjob scenes, I don't have a foot fetish, and I prefer to skip the footjob and foot licking scenes and the like. I used the intro button with this scene and tried not to see anything.
For the rest, I like the game system (in general I like RPGs) and that the goblin isn't a deranged degenerate who seeks revenge on "write whatever" is a novelty in these games.

Idk what people are bitching about, I managed to beat Hera with 8 potions and lvl 2 without a problem even though i missed my attack twice, didn't even pay the 500 gold in the church. Good game, looking forward to future updates

I had some bug encountered in the City.
Yea i finale found the time to baet the wolves and go into their and talked to the priestress. Than i went right to see if the map goes further in that direction. And got stuck on that side and couldnt go to the left anymore.
I just found out that i wasent reallz stuck but i was able to go on the roof like the screenshot shows and then i was able to go up and there u cant get left
minor map flaw but thought i let u know.
i propably wont play further tho for a while so good luck with everything..

It's just next to the blacksmith shop, and try clicking on the counter instead of the blacksmith.
I can't really answer that at this point because the story is still being fleshed out. Maybe...or maybe not.
You tried to hack the assets, didn't you? Honestly I'd appreciate it if people didn't go digging in the game files and posting unused assets here. You'll have to wait for future updates to continue the story.

Some thought. Great render and setting. I don't mind the MC at the goblin, actually quite interesting and a break from the usual generic MC. Though it feel a bit weird that he seem a little too heroic. The interesting thing about these non-human MC, especially something like a goblin, is that they usually a lot more deviant so there're usually a lot of more crazy sex opportunities. I actually really like the scene with the elves prostitutes but kinda suck that it's a random old fart rather than the MC. A big fan of corruption and humiliations fetish so hopefully there will still be something like that down the line with the MC.
For the gameplay, it does feel a bit grindy at time and feel very basic at the moment (only a single special attack so most of the time it just selecting attack over and over). And with rpg maker game, it does feel a bit buggy at time as well, there're a few time I just ran pass a wall into nothing since I use a mouse to move. But since it the first release those thing are to be expected. Hopefully it would be iron out and more fun down the line. As someone mentioned before, maybe getting some characters to join the party could spice thing up as far as gameplay go.
All in all, I do see a lot of potential here so great job.
Id say that the increase in popularity of goblin rape/slave porn is almost directly related to goblin slayer´s popularity (Im pretty certain that it is a fetish of the author himself, judging by the scenes). So if anything you should be wishing him away if this trope bothers you.
