everytime i open the game it tries to load then after a bit it just shuts itself down and after a few attempts it opens up my steam account then it shows a failure textbox

Slay the Spire. It is non-sexual, but based on how little adult content is in Tamer Vale, it shouldn't matter much.

A thread focus on roguelike/lite. Feel free to add more to the list. There are quite a few thread that have roguelike stuff, but most have like 3-4 game, then the thread just end. This one prob the one with the most i seen.

I tend to abandon rogue-something games easily, but I liked this one. Non-erotic/pornographic rogue-something games should start having more lewd, half-naked, objectified women and lolis in their games. It's a shame to have to enter a porn site to enjoy objectified sluts in games.
I've been trying to finish the game as the rogue, so far it's quite hard lol. The other two weren't as difficult. Also I believe this is the first game I'm playing not for the porn lol

Come back and tell how it worked out for you and if it was fun enough to grind that character to level 16 or so.

The only other I knew of was Last Evil. That game was actually fun, but not that finetuned in case of balancing (just like Tamer Vale).

Some balancing ideas:
general
- trader should give you money for cards sold
- trader shouldn't get that expensive
- enemys with varying special actions
- different start of the journey, where you have like 1-2k gold and select cards from the card collection and upgrade their tier
- maybe a hard mode, that is more rewarding for grinding levels
*edit: - new journey+ mode, where you keep your collected cards
Shryke
- low-cost-build is so overpowered, that getting other cards feels useless, because they are far to weak for their energy-cost-efficiency
- cards with higher energy-costs need to be buffed
example: Strike +2 [Deal 9 damage 1 energy] vs. Heavy Strike +2 [Deal 13 damage 2 energy]
-> the loss in damage doesn't compensate for having one card less in your deck
-> it gets worse, if you add Strength from Avian Runemark +2 [Gain 8 Strength]:
2x Strike + Avian Runemark [ (9+8)+(9+8) = 34 ] vs. 1x Heavy Strike + Avian Runemark [ (13+8) = 21 ]
-> You deal x more damage and you could hit more than 1 enemy
-> it gets ridiculous if you use Jab +2 [Deal 6 damage 0 energy ] or Swipe +2 [Deal 5 damage to all enemys 1 energy]
builds I didn't test yet:
the main question with the other builds is, if you're able to even get all your cards needed
Elaria
- there needs to be a limit in farming gold with the Mouse Spirit
-> for example: only once per enemy or Mouse Spirit as consumable
-> if you're able to get it early and farm till like 9k gold (listening to some podcast while your at it), you can get rid of all unwanted cards and build your deck even before the first final boss
- Wyrm Spirit has the same weakness as Heavy Strike
