another case of devs adding a slut in harems for what is kinda funny. Not appealing to me at all and idk who do find them appealing.
now them only being slutty with the MC is fine but a slut who is just a slut in case of crystal who is known to get around can move around away from me.

so I hope in all gods that we can avoid her.

It's funny cause I started to do more writing recently. As an anti-En Tee Argh guy it's strange when it comes to writing. Obviously you can write character that are innocent, some that are slutty and characters in between, but when it comes to SOOO many characters like this game is trying to do, there is a limited amount to your archetypes. At one point it just becomes completely unrealistic if every single LI is a virgin.

Many writers, myself included don't have to worry about that cause we're just writing stories we want to tell, however, when you're writing for VN's, it becomes a bit more complicated, especially if it's mostly on rails like this game is. So yeah, I don't mind the slutty character, it'd be good if TWizard listens and makes it possible to avoid her for those that don't like it, but my philosophy on slut characters is this:

If she was:
1. a slut DURING the game coming out of the bathroom blowing some dude (Rovering in Sussex style) then she's dead.
2. If she was a slut as of 5 minutes before she meets MC (ex. She comes out of a classroom with cum in her face) no thank you.
3. If she was a slut by mention and we never hear about her sluttiness or at least aren't hit over the head with it again, DING DING DING! We have a winner.

Since this game is more 3 style, I'm willing to interact with Crystal. If she's like "I've had 30 cocks in my life and this is the biggest" or "My mouth has never felt this full with a dick in it" I'm not sold. But since she IS a slutty character there will SOME mention at some point about it. If I get there I'll try to not cringe to death


TWizard I'm enjoying the game so far. I'll continue it later, I stopped at the Dallas/Nancy moment in the morning

Edit: My favorite Slut character is the redemption story. One where this young women figures out her need for attention, power, or whatever the cause is. That she is able to reset her expectations and connections to sex and see it something intimate rather than dirty or fun. Not to be ashamed of her past, but emgbrace that she is only human and that mistakes were made. No judgement on ladies living such lives, just that EVERYONE deserves love.

If you're referring to botc review, I'd say play and judge for yourself. Personally I don't find anything wrong with it at all. It's simplistic, but not in a bad way. It's a dumb Harem game and I say that in a good way. It's not trying to be anything other than a school Harem with cute girls and an MC that's gonna score with them. I liked the dialogue. I usually edit scripts and I wouldn't really take anything out in particular. It's all fluffy dialogue that fits the game perfectly.

This isn't trying to be flowery or poetic. I'd look at the girls in the previews and judge for myself if I were you. I actually played this game as a joke cause I left a dumb comment earlier and was surprised that my 10 minute trial period became 30 minutes, then became an hour plus.

The story itself is promising. I also find some of the characters very interesting. However, as far as the quality of the render is concerned, there is still a lot of room for improvement.
It's not hard at all to edit the renders that didn't turn out so well.

Depends on how much you need to edit.
If it's just little things like fixing moth holes, editing with paint.net or similar programs will only take a few seconds. Rendering the scene again would take a few minutes (depends on your PC).

True, but a character with hair that the hairline isn't fitted on the character correctly will render on most scenes, and they will need to be edited continuously, whereas fixing the hairline solves it. The same with the clothing. Unless you're only using the character for one scene, then it makes sense to fix it.

Like the game so far, and love Max! Loli-ish characters are usually a big turn off for me, but she's modeled and written as such a spunky bundle of both adorable and sexy. Any recommendations of games with similar characters that are less baby-girl and more manic pixie like this?

For me kinda sad to hear. Well, I know for many it's not that important, for me it is. Was here, as in many of my Mods, the main reason to even start one. The WT part was only a little bonus, not the main thing for me. And with adding music by the dev himself my motivation to continue is "gone", even havn't played the newest update so far. I know that sounds weird, but almost always happens when stopping the music integration.
Also: the game itself is quite linear so far. A WT is of course helpful, but imo actually not really a must here.

i know, wasn't taking a poke at you or anything. i understand tho it can be sad with some games where one tiny wrong move and everything changes and you miss something. even some linear games there are choices that change the path it moves through, which can be quite annoying when you have no idea of it haha i like how some devs do inform you this decision is important etc. anyways thanks for the work you do on many other projects, while i don't bother with music etc, i do greatly appreciate the wt you do.
