DmD the story wouldn't make any sense for D to visit her step father after years, it's just a step father, there is no big attachment like with biological father

No, like a prep school. But I could just as easily make it a junior college i suppose. Would probably make more sense post graduate years are usually for athletes, artists, musicians, people wanting specific preparation for college. Whereas this group of characters is rather disparate.

It doesn't necessarily have to be that kind of romance with holding hands, watching rainbows, petting adorable fluffy rabbits, ... So far she was impressed by MC hiding in girls locker room and enjoying a sixpack. Next time she might catch him e.g. spying on someone (and like it), and I'm not the writer talent here, but I think it's viable path for a slightly different romance. Of course if you really like the actual blackmail, it's still bad.
And guess what they will be harassing you about next... "Oh no, she's under 21, you can't buy alcohol for her!"

Thanks for reply. So basically Patreon banned all the kinds of content I like. I just don't understand why @irredeemable choose to stay in Patreon then. But he made the choice to rather change content than the leave Patreon, so I'll respect that. However, I believe it's a wrong move as his fans don't find him on Patreon anyway. You can't search nsfw games via Patreon's search, so saying that Patreon's bigger fan base helps his income doesn't make sense. I believe if he went the route of "I'm moving to this other platform", he woulda been able to keep doing the incest, high school, and blackmail stuff. Sad to see this game go, best of luck, @irredeemable.

Yup. It's trying to recreate Harvest Moon style in an adult enviroment. It's pretty cool and dev is really talented. But for now it's quite seriously bugged and it's better to wait for a new version as dev is revamping a lot of technical issues he had. If not for bugs in this version it's really worth it imo.
It's not so easy if you consider how Patreon was arguing with irredeemable. If Kaitlyn looks too young Max would have trouble cuz Max is like 14 max
It would be easier for DMD for me. But Who knows.Without Patreon dev can't exist at this point. Fanbase don't use search but forums like this one. Patreon has no alternative sadly. It's all about payments. Even the biggest devs wouldn't make it without Patreon

@cleanfeel Well its not as simple as it sounds to "leave patreon" as deem mentioned in the post hes explored alternatives, which he may end up doing anyway. But for now patreon is the best option.

There are alternatives. Even if he don't want to use ANY of the alternatives out there, he can build his own web app with Stripe and accept payments that way. (This is a huge task as there are many features to be built, and will most likely take him 3 months to do things like authentication, Stripe integration, messaging, file uploading, etc. ) I also don't know if Stripe will shit on him for the content, haven't developed any nsfw stuff with it b4.
But point is there are alternatives, and the only thing that could hurt him is that he will lose people who don't want to follow him to his new platform. But he's losing people no anyway by changing his product to include some of the best content that people love (incest, hs theme, blackmail). It's a matter of either changing content to suit Patreon, keep current income at healthy level and take a small loss. Or switch platform, keep content type, and lose MORE than he's losing with the former (people don't tend to like to switch off platform). But hey, imo, this is about solidarity and supporting these other nsfw only crowd funding sites which I think can grow the entire English nsfw game development community.
I personally would not want to be Patreon's bitch and have them tell me I can't make my content. But ireedeemable doesn't seem like he likes blackmail stuff that much like I do (called himself sjw), so the compromise of the other 2, of the "not college" and "step daughter" seems like the best route, which I agree financially.

I've made it so you can change all instances of the word stepdaughter to daughter with a single console line. The mention of junior college is really just there because the Trust and Safety person insisted my of-age models looked underage and that "sexualized depictions of minors is a theme of your game." I made the point (among others) that perhaps it's the high school setting that skews perception of them. However, any setting change would really only be nominal as I don't plan on writing anything that couldn't just as easily(or more easily, even), take place at a high school. As for the blackmail stuff, it's still in there, but, yeah, blackmail for sex is kind of a no, no.

Understandable but if your main income is from development you can't leave Patreon for the sake of principles. It's not worth it if you won't be able to pay for electricity. Leaving Patreon would mean no money at all most likely. Sad but true

It'd be nice if it was just like the porn scenes that do incest with a disclaimer or something at the beginning "hey these guys are STEP RELATED OK *wink wink nudge nudge* and then act as if everything is normal.
Honestly it isn't that big of a deal either way I just hope it ins't some situation where ti beats you over the head with "omg this is my stepdaughter/stepcousin/stepwife every other line of dialogue.
But yeah MC was kind of dumb and it was pretty obvious your heart was never really in it, make the pills viagra or something and have magical cat magic stepdad walk around trying to teach class with a boner or something for shits and giggles.

And yeah the Kait BJ kind of threw me for a bit of a shock when I saw it because up to then most of the game was tongue in cheek goofiness for the most part then all of a sudden whoa when did this guy become a violent rapey asshole.

The main character won't be winning any awards for his morality any time soon thats for sure lol @klx Deem already said you'll be easily able to change "step" daughter bk to just regular daughter so i can't imagine he'd include any of the type of dialogue your worried about. It would be a major tonal shift if the main character started moralising "what am i doing? shes my daughter" ala Dating My Daughter.

Kimochu is like Kickstarter, it's not regular income and it appears that western-style games (particularly rendered games) aren't popular there.
Stripe certainly won't deal with an independent adult content creator.
Calling me Patreon's bitch is not very nice. If your employer asks you to do something, does that make you his bitch? I was fine with the changes I made--as I said, i feel they make the game better, on balance. The thing I do think is important—the depiction of the girls—I am fighting to keep.

In a way I think it may end up being a good thing removing mind control. As some, including you yourself, have noted @irredeemable your heart was never really in the mind control stuff. Dark Silver and the incest in BB is a prime example of what can happen when a dev feels forced by his patrons to continue with something he doesn't really believe in.
