Only promise deem made was game would be out by monday next week. And we are doing everything we can to ensure that the release is early.

Patiently waiting but he said it would be out in December, and then at New Year's eve he said it would be out in 3 days. I'm not complaining but Kedub saying "new day new promises" has some truth there.

Well technically speaking he stuck to those promises. We had test builds available on the first date, then pre alpha and the 3 days was for main alpha and thats being tested now ahead of schedule
Before we get final product this is all fairy tale for most users. I am not complaining too, really I do not wait for this game any more, but if the developer have its own schedule... he should not delay update with no big reason.
Really unbelievable of some people. The game will be free here yet still some complain it's too late. For a Patreon i am sure there could be some complaints but i doubt even they would complain so much.
It will be released when it's ready there are many other games to play in the meantime. Just my thoughts.

I appreciate that most users hate the test phase. But if we did not announce the test phase or our progress we would be flooded with messages and hatred. Alot of games do testing. This game however is difficult due to being delayed for months and having to be re written. This is why this is by far the longest test phase we have ever done. The testers and deem are working there asses off. In just over a day we have had 4 builds we are working as fast as we can. And we understand peoples furstrations. But for deem, the testers and his mods this is alot more frustrating than just waiting for the game. Half the bugs should not have happened at all, some are just damn right random and some make no sense at all. Its requiring a few quick re writes as python and renpy are being total aholes and perfect coding is being broken. We are also frustrated that we can not work any faster. The biggest frustration for us is the schedule. We may be ahead of the public schedule but are behind on the schedule in our minds. Builds are coming thick and fast and we will try our hardest to get it out asap. However please understand the whole game has been re written or re coded. It makes the task difficult. I took the liberty of posting updates here to keep you informed of the progress as deems busy working 18 hours a day into an early grave to complete the game. If you like i can instruct the testers and mods to no longer post here until updates out that way you dont feel dissapointed every time we post an update on our progress

Deems an excellant coder. The problem is renpy and python. It seems to read the code fine one playthrough then the next it goes haywire. Luckily we have a handle on it now, linked instructions had to be done in a differant way. Even tho those instructions have been the same and un changed in every other version of the game.

Well thats me done. Updates on the progress are not helping anyone and seem to be creating issues. So i will update you once its ready to release. Any questions tag @DarthHelmet and @Dasati
As a Patron (ok $1 but I don't have a lot), I have no problem waiting (arg, must play now). I guess I could have tried to join the testing, but as I've said before I suck at that and don't want ulcers. From all the information we've been given the update will hopefully come in the next couple days (hurry or I will say hurry again). Since that will give us the weekend to play I don't know why people are complaining (No the voices in my head say it must be released now).
SO, testers TY for the work (please hurry) and take the time to get the game right (no cookies until you finish). To Deem, I look forward to playing this new version so TY (must play soon or no cookies for ANYONE).
Just a thought.
P.S. Honestly ignore the evil voices and take the time to get it right. I'll wait.
P.P.S. The voices in my head want me to make cookie threats so I'll stop now.

As one of the testers, I can tell you first-hand that 'deem is working his tailbone off on this - he's been delivering at least two new builds a day, and we each submit a file listing the bugs we find in each latest build after 4-10 hours of testing. 'Deem may be making some chump change through patreon on this project, but the rest of us are doing it for no pay, and he certainly isn't making enough to hire a professional coder to take his place.
TP is absolutely a labor of love for 'deem, and those of us that test the new builds for him aren't being showered with anything except thanks for our help. Seeing some of you guys rant and rave about how he's missed his self-imposed deadlines, or accusing him of conspiring to run off with money that you've likely not even paid into doesn't endear you to any of us. 'Deem is working on the game (daily), we are testing the game (around the clock), and it will be ready when all the showstopper bugs are fixed - trust me when I say that as nasty as you are all being now, I can't even imagine how abusive you'd be if he'd released the game with some of the bugs that we found and killed on the first nights of the alpha testing.
Just let the man work, and stop being toxic assholes about porn that only a few of you intend to actually pay for being delivered a week late.

Too bad RenPy.org doesn't appear to mention any proper debugging tools, such as Eclipse and PyDev. I don't know what Deem is currently using, but both programs are far more useful than a simple text editor.
RenPy's apparent built-in debugger seems to be pretty good, but you have to have the project pretty much ready to run before you can use it (unless I'm missing something...lol)...with Eclipse you can run through the code line by line while it follows any jumps and allowing you to see what line is running, what the output is and back-up a few lines to make edits then re-run if the output doesn't go as expected.
Bit of a learning curve switching to those, probably best to finish up the game in the current style, take a few days off, then try them out.

Yer deem uses alot of differant stuff. The problem is renpys debugging program. Its seems to go a bit crazy with the coding. Deem has written his code to be easy to add to later rather than the way alot of others do it ( normally its like trying to find a needle in a haystack) problem is renpy does not seem to like sensible coders

In all fairness, you shouldn't cut off those of us who are waiting patiently and are understanding of the hell that you all are going through to get this release out for the sake of silencing a few trolls that won't be happy either way.
Fine, be that way then. Hmm, there were threats of Buggering here and I think I have a Fruit Cake from a couple decades ago.
Seriously TY to Deem and all the testers. Yes I want the game now, but I'm happy to wait and avoid the bugs. I've tried to do 'Early Access' and Beta's in the past (it was HORRIBLE). So please take the time needed to save me, and I will put the old Fruit Cake away (hmm Maybe vegemite as a lube for the Buggering).
