I think this ship has long sailed, deem is earning the same amount of money with no patching whatsoever, why bother wasting time making a patch that can only bring him trouble?

I was expecting an "unofficial" incest patch at lewd patcher, but it never happened, don't expect it to happen anymore, might as well get used to D being a FES :FeelsBadMan:

Check here for an incest patch. Unfortunately, it needs to be completely redone every release since Deem did not put in "hooks" to make it easy to change.

You can find that and a blackmail patch in the mods area. Some mod should move them into the TP popular games area though.

Porn games and porn in general seem to be in an incest rut lately. I'd be nice to see something other than incest porn for a change.

It's popular in movies and TV shows as well, just play the less popular games if you don't like it.

Have you tried a batch render script. I have an awesome gaming machine that I built also to use Daz. I'lll be dam'd if I can tell much difference in rendering time. Its still slow as hell if you add an entire scene. So to build enough renders to make one of these games must take forever and a day. No wonder content is so slow coming.

You have to turn off or delete everything that is not in the scene. I have a 9 year old MacPro and with G3 characters an scenes with quality turned off and the count set to 100 with twice the resolution it only takes about 16 mins to render with iRay. G8 the count has to be set to around 200 ~ 300 and takes 45 mins to 90 mins.

It's a shame we've managed to piss off Deem so much that he and his closest associates don't seem to visit F95 anymore. Missed deadlines, lack of content and bugs are a pain, but as I'm learning more about Ren'Py I think I'm developing a much better understanding of how tricky this reboot must have been for him. New content looks difficult enough but changing existing content in a non-linear game without creating millions of bugs looks like a nightmare!
Hopefully everything will settle down soon and we'll all be happy pirates again. If not I have an estimated date of January 2025 for v0.01 of the game I'm thinking about doing. It's basically TP five years later. MC has been found out and is now divorced and has had to leave his job to avoid a scandal, a court case and having his nuts ripped off by the real Meghan's dad. But has he learned his lesson? Of course not!!!
Now I just need to learn writing, spelling, drawing, animation and programming and then I can get started.
In the meantime TP is still my favourite adult game by a mile.

I'm guessing that Deem still pops in periodically to look for bug posts and see if the latest version has been posted here. I doubt he'll post anything for a while (if at all) because he doesn't want to get flamed every time he does post.
I agree that it's tragic that a Developer doesn't feel comfortable posting or participating at F95zone.

I think Moderators could do a better job defending Developers by sending warnings to Trolls to be respectful or receive a temporary ban. But I don't know if that's wise OR possible. Forums ARE meant to be a free discussion of ideas, and censorship can be a really bad idea. (can anyone say Patreon?)

Apparently all releases after 2.00 and in the line of 2.0X are bug fixes. 2.04, 2.06, 2.061 were all bug fixing and adding missing renders. In short, small improvements but no new real content.
From what I perceived, version 2.1 should add something new. Any version before 2.1 will still be about adjustments.

One minor glitch that wasn't in ver. 1.99995 , 1.632 nor in previous releases of the game, is the inability (from v.2.00 onwards) to make the dialog box disappear when clicking the mouse wheel. It's a feature almost all renpy game have, so I hope it gets restored one day.

That's correct. Based on how updates have worked in the past, new content will be added in 2.1

No idea what you're talking about, we had a whole bunch of the devs white knights here and all they did was shoot down people who criticize the lack of progression among other things, even if it was posted in civilized manner. If I tell someone that he's a useless fucker, yes ... that's an insult and doesn't have anything to do with the thread or the game, but if I tell a dev that his/her game is a piece of shit because of 18 bugs within the first 5 minutes of gameplay, 5 of them are game-breaking, that's an opinion and criticism. Pretty harsh, but still far from invalid. I agree that mods should clean up when things get out of hand (happened 3 or 4 times already by the way, no idea how long you've been reading this thread), but I don't think they should "protect" someone in any way since in the end, even if they aren't, they're at least SUPPOSED to be neutral.
