You guys are forgetting the totally real super virus that infected his home network that was inflicted upon him by some vague stalker person, which kicked off his descent into the flake-o-sphere.

Remind me, what happened to the posters who questioned that story of his in this thread?

Apparently the stalker was a failed game dev, who nobody cared about untill he put on a mask, and was just too jealous of Irredeemable's succes and decided to take him down.

To what folks wrote in their tl;dr for @Vinnie Gognitti i would add: "dev continue to take patreon money", and: "supposedly beta testers that defended him like he was a saint got diffrent version of the game that one that was released to public" (which sounds even fishier than virus thing)

Very dissapointed in deem. I dropped my $10 pledge and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Devs that do not communicate and are lackluster with their updates, if there are updates at all, should NOT be rewarded.

Sad that things have turned out like this, but we should not accept it any longer. There are hundreds of better devs out there that could use that money instead.

Maybe you could help me with my problem I asked about a few pages back.
I had no way to achieve any positive outcome with Meghan's first date so in the end I used cheats to raise her affection and make her less angry.
Now, I guess whenever a choice would lead to a more positive outcome the game crashes completely.
Do you have any idea how I would have to go about changing values to get through the date without crashing?

I wasn't thread banned but I backed off after Deem told me to fuck off. Perhaps I should've got thread banned and not caved...

After he lied to his mods not even his own mods trust him. Which I think speaks more for his disappearance then anything. You don't have your closest followers drop trust without burning bridges

Top tier bullshit story, irredeemable is totally unreliable for me, because of this. I have no idea how some people actually belived in this story. He lied so so many times, and some people still defend him. And there is no doubt, he had special treatment here, belive in everythink he said or gtfo.

When a dev has the right to come into a topic, make up bullshit, and tell people to fuck off who simply calmly questioned his story from experience in the field, you know he has special treatment.

Seems I have luckily missed out on a soap opera. But then again, I already picked up on that earlier on which is why I completely lost interest in the game.

I was tempted back then so many times to post and ask why the hell this game is popular... I played it, nothing special and very little content and scarce updates.

I always assumed that it was popular because the dev posts here a lot, so some people got... attached?

I set everything in the 300-500 range and have no issue's. No matter what the date ends with her father practically breaking your door down before you get much farther than pulling her shirt off...

My mod doesn't touch anything to do with the home-date, but I've played the date both with and without the mod with no crash's.

Well, I agree that it didn't have superior quality, but before castration it had potential to be better story than most of the games here. Characters are not amazing, but they aren't terrible either. In Man of the House for example, characters and story are just insulting for human race, although it's probably decent porn.
People expect more from irredeemable, because he isn't russian or a retard. So there is from hype was from in my opinion. There is gigantic demand for porn game with at least mediocre story, characters and writing.

If the teacher was a normal, upstanding teacher it's because you made him that way. There were 3 choices when he first encountered the drug dealer and each of us made him the way we wanted him to be. And there were options throughout the game where we chose. You can play him as the faithful husband if you want to.

I played him both ways but preferred the horndog who I saw as getting fed up with the domineering bitch's crap.

is it almost time to mark this as abandoned? dev has not posted on patreon since February 26, went AWOL on discord and his pledges have dropped by more than 30% since the new swimmer character was revealed. (and that number will continue to drop because dev did not set charge per update)

this game is done. and that saddens me as i was eagerly awaiting more story.

Since it gets brought up every page, when I asked the staff when this will be marked as abandoned I was told the standard is after like 3 or 4 months of no news, so dont anyone expect it anytime soon.

Okay, I finally manage to get to Meghan's first date, but I'm way below the 250 romance needed and no matter what I do, I can't get anything out of her but leaving.
So I use the console and raise romance to 251, but now whenever a positive reaction might happen the game crashes.

Is anyone fit enough in renpy to see through my traceback what is the problem AND how to fix it?

I don't see why it's complaining about that when there's 10's of other identical ones it's not complaining about but...whatever lol
Patched file attached...might fix your issue (don't forget to remove the numbers and "_" that the forum adds). If it comes up with "duplicate label" errors you'll have to unren option #1 the game, possibly #2 as well (close & start the game after running #2) then move the file over.
